Haze was trying to keep a smile off of the holoforms face. Annie couldn’t tell whether something was pants or blanket. I think it’s blanket. As he was talking, she stuck her hand up, and he helped pull her to her feet. He had relaxed his hand a little, but she hadn’t really let go. She had just moved her cane to her other hand, and started off down the hill. ‘Nick’ just followed along behind her.
The radio with legs stopped. It wasn’t because Haze had stepped on a few leaves. It was because the scene on the hill had become a tad bit awkward to him. It seemed as if she liked Nick. Naw, that couldn’t be it. Could it? Okay, so he would go through with this, and then it wouldn‘t awkward in the future, what were the odds they would meet again? It wasn’t like she was going to ask for his phone number, was it?

Annie almost laughed, but managed not to. She wasn't sure why she was still holding onto his hand, but it was nice. That, and she had a more accurate feeling of where Nick was then before. She shifted and looked over at him. "Why so silent? I've kind-of gotten used to your questions," she responded with a grin.
She shifted a little was she continued to walk, though had slowed down considerably. She began to shift and looked over at Nick, or over his shoulder. "Hey, do you have a cell phone?" she asked, suddenly curious.
She knew few people didn't have a cell phone, but after Annie began to feel more independent, her parents had gotten her one. Annie was also pretty sure that it had a GPS feature in it, but she didn't feel hurt by that.

Annie looked at him, grinning as she asked about his questions. She was still holding his hand, and he didn’t bother to pull it away. Haze just directed ‘Nick’ to say, “I’m trying to think of a good question to ask. Such as, why did you want to take a walk?[/b]
Annie looked at him again and asked if he had a phone. It wasn’t his phone number, but close enough. He’d have to quit thinking like he sometimes did. I have a cell phone, I just don’t have it on me. Why do you ask? He was curious about why she asked most of the questions she did. He wanted to get a bit more insight into the way the human brain worked. Under different circumstances of course. Oh, who was he kidding. Those were just excuses. He didn’t know why he was still here. He’d figure it out eventually.

Annie smiled and responded, "I wanted to take a walk because I wanted to, not for any special reason. Besides, talking a walk is fun, even when I can't see anything."
She shifted and continued to walk along, though she was hardly dragging him along. She was keeping calm and her blind-man's cane was feeling out a path, slowly, for her through the grass. She seemed quieter then normal until he asked another question. "Oh, I asked because not everyone does. Besides, it doesn't matter. I was just curious. I can be curious too, you know?"
Annie smiled more and continued to walk along slowly, happily. She winced as her cane caught into the ground and jerked at her wrist painfully. Lifting up the cane a little, she continued to walk forward, her hand loose around Nick's.

Haze looked at her. Annie just wanted to take a walk. That happened, and her reasoning was sound. Walking, can be fun. He followed Annie, wondering what she was thinking about. The reason she asked about a cell phone was because everyone didn’t have one. That was… He didn’t know what that was. It was in a way reasonable, but yet, it wasn’t. He decided not to think about it. Yes, you can be . Everyone can, and that question was probably rhetorical.
Haze didn’t try to take his hand away, the holoform‘s hand anyway, and the radio that he really was just began to walk along again. He was trying to figure out what to do next. He directed ‘Nick’ to keep walking.

Annie shrugged a little at his responce and shook her head. "Not entirely. Really...it didn't matter if you replied or not. It was nice you did though," she responded with a warm smile.
Looking forward again, she seemed to focus on that. Walking forward, her hand loosely in Nick's, she paused once again as she thought she heard something move. If there wasn't that stupid party, she would be able to pinpoint where that sound was coming from. She shifted a little and continued walking along, though she began to drift back down to the lake. "When it is quiet, you can actually hear the water lapping. It's a soothing sound. Any questions?" she commented gently, though at her question, she looked at him, sort-of.

So Annie did ask a rhetorical question. Or was it. She liked that he answered. Haze tried to keep from confusing himself by pondering it. He had ‘Nick’ shake his head. Mainly because he would’ve liked to do that with his own real body, which had started scuttling back along behind them.
I’m sure it is soothing. No, I don’t have any questions right now. None, except: Do you? Because he was focused on Annie and his holoform, one of his four ‘feet’ landed in the lake. Haze scuttled backwards waving the leg, letting loose a small groan before realizing that it had indeed come from his vocal processor. Slag.
(ooc: Sorry it took so long. Almost forgot about this thread.)

Annie thought she heard some sort of scuttling sound and she turned slightly before shaking it off. She had to be hearing things, really. After all, what would scuttle, but make no other noise?
She "looked" at Nick and smiled a little. "Not entirely. One is why you are quiet, but I've given up on figuring that out. Two is why you are here alone, but that can easily be answered in, 'I just wanted to get the hell away so I came here only to find that cursed party was invading an otherwise quiet place'. Three is why are you so curious, but that's probably just like asking me why I'm blind. You can't help it. So...most of the questions I answered in my head so I don't give myself a headache," she responded slowly, explaining her point of view.
She continued to walk along when she heard the groan, tensing slightly. She turned a little and asked, "Who's there? What do you want?"
She didn't like being followed, but that explained the scuffling.
((ooc: I forgive you))
