Chris sighed, of course, he had been dropped off at the campus by Sideswipe. He had decided to check out this campus after recieving an acceptance letter. They were offering him a basketball scholarship, which was what got his attention most. Luckily for him, his friend, Sam, went here. He had called ahead of time, and told him he was coming. He had to admit, he was happy the AUtobots had 'space bridges' the last thing he wanted was to drive for several days to a campus. He sighed, looking around at everything, he kept an eye out for Sam or his roommate Leo.
"Damn, this campus is big. Dad wasn't kidding." He commented. Optimus had seen it once, but had only briefly remarked about the size of it. He sighed, and quietly made his way into the courtyard, gazing around, slightly nervous. Especially being surrounded by a bunch of college students like this.

Prior to departing his dorm, Sam sent Chris a text, confirming if he had arrived as he walked out of his dorm from the West side of the campus. Rounding a side walk, he stretched as he tucked the phone away, looking around for Chris. He was expecting him to be here around this time, and they had agreed to meet in the court yard.
Sam stretched, glancing up at the blue sky as he neared the center of the large courtyard. Fantastic weather, he thought. Chris had picked a good day to tour the campus. He returned his gaze to the center of the courtyard, and saw Chris. He waved.
"Hey." Sam greeted with a wave, loud enough for him to hear as he picked up his pace. He was only about 4 feet away now. "Good to see you again. Nice day for a tour, huh?" he smiled briefly.

"Hey Sam." Chris grinned, waving back "Yeah, I'm actually glad Dad convinced me to go today." He wasn't sure if Sam knew he had gotten into contact with Optimus. He figured Mikaela had mentioned something, but one could never be too sure. "I was procrastinating against Colllege Touring lately. But he figured it'd get me some... Alone time."
He sighed, he hadn't gotten a lot of that lately. Almost everywhere he went, there was an Autobot near or around him. He didn't know if they had done that with Sam yet, seeing as he was in danger too. But the guessed they might have. "By the way, Bee told me to tell you hi." He added.

Sam smiled. "Please tell him I said hi too." he said. "I intend to visit him one of these days. It's been a while. Can't help but miss him." Sam vividly remembered the first time he'd went to college a couple years ago. It'd been really hard leaving the Autobot. Bumblebee was such a good friend.
"So. Um, I guess we'll start with the West side of campus where I'm based." he said, ushering him towards the West Dormitories. "They have a lot of dorms here-most of which I haven't explored in a while." Sam gave Chris a copy of the map, and began to show him the different halls of the west dormitories. "My room is down that way and to the right," he said pointing down the hall they were currently in. "Some of the dorm halls are smaller than the main ones. They especially get pretty tight fall and winter."

"Wow, this place is huge, even the hallway is big... Well not big-big, but you get the point." Chris commented, looking around "Ah the famous dorm room where you were seduced by a robot." He had to chuckle, Mikaela had told him about it. He couldn't help but laugh at the thought a little.
"It must have been hard leaving Bee behind like you had to." Chris commented in regards to his comment about Bumblebee, looking at him "Chances are, wherever I go... I'm going ot have no choice but to get a permit for Sideswipe to come with me." He admitted, looking at him "Mostly because my Dad's such a high power.. He still thinks I need a bodyguard just in case." His cheeks went red. It was embaressing, but it was true.

Sam grinned. "Nope, he wasn't...yeah, please don't remind me of that accident." he remembered how upset Mikaela had been, and he never liked that. "But really, after all the crap I've gone through, there's a good reason why he might want that." he said. "And I can't blame him. But a little autonomy wouldn't hurt...we aren't your everyday students after all..." over time, it was pretty Sam grew to like that notion more-even if he didn't know the true extent of his abilities yet.
Sam led him to his room, as a check point. "So...anywhere you want to see first?"

"True, at least the usual two looking after me are Bee and Sides... Better then having Ironhide or something..." Chris commented "Don't get me wrong, 'hides awesome, but he scares me sometimes. Plus, believe it or not, he's really overprotective." He commented, then looked at Sam "You do have a point. Being different really is a gift and a curse I guess."
He sighed, then chuckled yet again. "Sorry Sam, but it was just too priceless to not comment on." He explained, shrugging "Don't worry I won't bring it up again." He thought for a minute, looking at the map "I kinda wanna take a look at a dorm room, to see what it's like."

"Well, mine's just a door over." he walked forward a bit and approached the main door to his room. He swiped his card, and swiped the card on one of the two rooms inside the main area. His room had the basic necessities of any dorm, a bathroom separated from the main rooms. It had dual suites, and a shared bathroom with a single shower. Sam's half the dorm appeared to be much neater and less cluttered than his roommates', where ever he was at the moment. "It's not bad really. Leo isn't here, but the messy room is his." he said, waving a hand at the room on his left. "He's actually a good study partner if you can get him serious about working with you."

Chris tilted his head, he had only met Leo once, and he was surprised Sam would say that. Maybe he had buckled down now that there was no reason for a conspiracy site. After all, the world now knew the Transformers existed. He sighed, looking around. "It's actually a really good sized dorm room. I'm surprised, I expected it to be smaller." He commented "I could get used to a room this size." He then peered into Leo's 'room' seeing the mess with the sixteen or so computers "Damn, his room really is messy." He then added "I guess he still runs the conspiracy site? Even though the world... Knows."

(actually i remembered the movie their rooms are kind of open to each other, not closed...id described them differently. oh well.)
"Yeah, he likes to keep it updated." Sam said. He stepped around some of Leo's stuff towards his side of the room to look out the window. "He wanted to record everything that happened since he met me. His dream came true and now even more people are acknowledging his site." he rolled his eyes. "He's TOTALLY obsessive compulsive about it. I'm not sure if he plans on making a new name for the site...But his grades still hold their own. Now that things are quieter, he's a little more serious."
"By the way, I'm leaving most of my things here, but I plan on visiting home soon. My parents are picking me up tomorrow. I'll be able to visit up until I have to check in." This news was also part of why his half the room looked so neat. On occasions it was a little bit more cluttered, like most students' rooms...though it never got as bad as Leo's.

"Nice, that must be interesting... Him recording everything you do." Chris commented, he had to chuckle a little "I just have to say thank gosh he doesn't know who I am really." He rolled his eyes slightly. Knowing Leo, Sam would be off the hook, and he'd be latched on like bait and dangled around the entire internet. "But hey, at least he's mellowed out a little. I remember when you guys visited last time he was spazzy." It was a good thing Sam and Mikaela had agreed to not say anything. The last thing he wanted was to be Leo's latest subject.
He then added as Sam mentioned he was heading there tomorrow. "Oh cool, it'll be nice to have you around." He commented.

Sam smiled."Agreed. I miss everyone. It should be a nice break before I have to get stuck here all over again...with Leo." he shrugged. "I don't mind him really...he just...is a little out there sometimes." They'd had some pretty awkward times. "So, what do you want to see next?"

"I probably just feel that way because I haven't had to live with him like you've had to." Chris replied calmly thinking for a moment "Got any suggestions? I have no idea where to go next." He sighed, blinking slightly "And sorry if I seem tired, I didn't get much sleep last night." He didn't want to say why, seeing as there was enough chaos in everyone's lives already. He had mostly kept his nightmares to himself.

"That's okay." Sam replied. "Well..." he thought for a moment. "I could at least show you the commons and where some of my classes were. The sports complex is also something worth seeing." Sam didn't really go there much, but the complex was nice to go to on rainy days when the jogging track wasn't as pleasant. "Um, I guess I'll take you to the commons first since it's open around this time. Have you had anything to eat yet?"

"The sports complex is a good idea, after all I'd be going here on a basketball scholarship." Chris noted with a nod, then thought at his second comment "Actually, no I haven't we left early to catch a space bridge." He admitted "I had some toast before I left the house but that's it."
