"Okay then," Sam replied, stepping away from the window. He began to leave the room. "I haven't had lunch yet, so I'll pay." he led him out of his room and shut the door. "We'll go there first, its closer." Walking briskly, the left the West dorms and crossed the court yard to go to the cafeteria.
"Here are the commons. It's got the cafeteria, a couple game rooms, and a front desk. The usual." Sam said. "Breakfast and lunch are usually the best meals here."
Once paying for their food and drinks, they took a seat by one of the many windows in the cafeteria. Being summer, the area was very quiet. "The sports complex is to the left, but it's a little hard to see out this window. I think it's one of the biggest."

"Ok, I'll let you pay, I guess." Chris shrugged, he sighed for a minute "Well we can go check out the sport's complex after lunch." He shrugged, then looked at Sam "In that case, I'm guessing you go out for dinner?" He questioned, though he guessed it was a dumb question.

Sam shrugged back before taking a drink. "Sometimes, like on the weekends. Depends on the schedule." he replied. "It can be expensive so I usually just get what I can around here...You said your sports scholarship was for basketball, right? I'll take you to the courts first. People who get sports scholarships have like, unlimited access almost any time of the day. It's a good deal. Course, you have people like me who have a neutral opinion about it. I should probably spend more time there..." he trailed off, briefly turning his attention to his sandwich.

"Yeah, you should, put some meat on your bones, you're skinnier then me when I hadn't excersized for a month." Chris teased, he didn't actually mean it, he always joked around like this in a sense, taking a sip of his own drink "I like the idea of unlimited access though." He then added "They'll have to drag me away from the basketball court kicking and screaming." He jested.

Sam chuckled. "I wouldn't doubt it." he said. He briefly waved a carefree hand. He had to admit, he was pretty skinny, and could probably use a bit more muscle-and found himself thinking this only in part for Mikaela. "Maybe I'll try to add it to my schedule when I get back from visiting. Lift some more weights or something. I do enough running."Sam finished up his sandwich. "Well, I'm ready to head over there when you are."

Chris finnished his own sandwhich, and nodded with a smile. "Yeah, might be a good idea. Especailly with the 'cons after us both." He added, with a shrug "May be best to be in shape for whatever may happen." He then added "Yeah, I'm ready, let's go." He tossed his empty cup into a trash can.

Sam nodded and disposed of the rest of his stuff as well. He walked ahead briskly, and led him all the way to the sports center. "They keep the courts in tip top condition." he said, walking past a raquet ball court. "Especially the basket ball court. It's quite picture'esque." Walking a little farther, they got to the large basket ball court in a slightly closed off room. Each side of the court had its usual stack of retractable plastic seat benches. In the center of the court, like any, was the colleges name and mascot, every detail covered.

"Well it sure is a shitload bigger then the High School basketball court back home, isn't it?" Chris commented, grinning a bit at him, then around at the court "I could deffinently get used to playing here, that's for sure." He gulped a little seeing how many stands there were as well. He could handle it, but there were times where that made him feel very nervous. He took a deep breath, he could handle it at least, he was sure of that.

"It's one of the biggest courts. here. Sam said. "Leo and I have watched a few games here. It gets really packed during the right seasons." he said, not entirely noticing Chris seemed a little. "I remember all those high school pep rallies we used to have. This would be great place for that. But they don't do those at college much save for actual games..." he shrugged. "Our team's done real well the past couple of years."

"Packed, eh? I guess I'll have to get used to that... I'm not always good with big crowds." Chris admitted with a small shrug "But hey, it won't be that bad I guess, all Freshman probably have the same problem their first time on the court."

"I'm sure you'll do great." Sam replied, patting Chris on the shoulder. "I think everyone has to take some amount of effort into adjusting to larger performances. I know I would..." Sam had never even really liked speaking to smaller crowds. He was absolutely certain Chris had more potential for it than he did. "So...anywhere else you want to go? Or we could just visit for a while since my parents are picking me up tomorrow morning."

Chris thought for a moment, he couldn't really think of anywhere he wanted to go off-hand. And he hadn't realy had the chance to hang out with Sam in a while. So he figured there would be no harm in just 'visiting' or 'hanging out' for the next hour. "Yeah, we can visit for a bit. My ride should be getting here in an hour anyway." He explained with a small shrug.

"All right." Sam didn't really have any activities in mind, however. His parents were picking him up tomorrow morning and initially he'd planned on kicking back. "Who's picking you up? Sideswipe?" he asked curiously as he began to walk away from the court. He kind of hoped that was the answer, as he hadn't seen Sideswipe in a while. "It's whatever you want to do around here. I don't have a major preference. Before I knew you were visiting I was just going to kick back and visit Leo or something." he said, yawning a bit. "And call Mikaela, of course."

"Him or Dad, unless Dad's in some sort of meeting." Chris explained, he sighed. He'd been meaning to ask Sam something, but he wasn't sure how to approach it. "Hey Sam, I meant to ask you something..." He began biting his lip "Those symbols you saw... Before. They went away right?" He wasn't sure that Sam knew what he was implying.
In truth, Chris had started to see things too, but not just symbols... Entire visions, of something he could not explain in any coherent words. There was something wrong, that much he knew, but he couldn't understand what the visions were telling him or at least, trying to tell him.

"Um...I believe so..." Sam said in an awkward tone, which in the next few words began to hint concern. "I haven't had any visions of any sort since we revived your dad. Honestly I'm glad of it...why do you ask?"
