Adam was tired, in fact he was beyond tired, he was out of it. Ever since he had arrived on the Autobot base and his subesuquent adoption by Interceptor it had all been one big blurr. It was, weird, needless to say to be the actual son of a robot. With KARR he wasn't really adopted formally and he was never allowed to say the 'D' word nor had the the desire to. With Interceptor, it was weird for the mech but he had his permission to call him that.
It was not that he didn't miss his parents, heaven knew he did, but he was ok with being here too. At least here, he was being taken care of well, whihc was all his parents would have cared about. As he flipped through TV channels he sighed, watching the shows that flashed on-screen. I wonder where he is anyway? He thought to himself.

The motorbike was definitely not your usual one-it had no place for a person to sit externally, and no handlebars. It was just a sleek, super condensed car with two very sturdy axles that supported the four tires of his car form as two large tires. The large tires actually gave the motorbike good stability. Being still far smaller than his car form, watercraft or speedboat form (the latter being a normal car sized craft), the Watercraft and Motorbike form were definitely the most agile of the four forms. In this motorbike form, Interceptor moved down the main hall and towards the near Optimus and Ratchets' offices and then took a turn into the main hangar, cutting across it briefly. He'd been having a final chat with some of the human officials at the hangar to confirm that there were no confusions in the paper work regarding Adam and his family, change of residence and adoption forms.
Adoption. There was a word Interecptor never thought he'd hear, especially at such a young age. Interceptor may be a sparkling compared to someone as old as Ratchet even KITT, but apparently he wasn't complete reckless idiot after all. Not only was he capable of surviving on his own even if he was quite rambunctious, hyper, and a bit reckless, he learned from the best, and thus always yearned to be the best, even if he really didn't think he was 'all that'. This situation was quite new to him, and all though the notion was very strange and a bit nerve racking, Interceptor didn't see a reason to change his mind, and then he would have been an idiot to do so. He would just make use of what he did know. No use in trying to over think things.
He approached the lounge where he figured Adam would mostly like kick back in, and activated his typical silver-haired holo-form with the thick diagonally striped blue and silver collared button up shirt. Ian wore his favorite black baggy pants, black army-type boots, and dark sunglasses to hide his bright aquamarine eyes whose coding, for one reason or another, could not be altered. He didn't hide it because he didn't like the color, he just liked the shades.
Ian knocked on the side of the entrance before walking in and stopping about three or four feet from where Adam sat, the motorbike form rolling a bit past the entrance. His real form parked himself, remaining still and quiet for now. "Hey kiddo. Thought I'd tell ya the paper work has been filed. Sometimes they get behind if you don't nag them to be sure they were transferred to the right locations, some copies need to go off base and stuff."

Adam jumped slightly at the sound of a knock on the door slightly. It wasn't that he had been scared, he had just spaced out and the knock had caught him off guard with a sigh, he turned his head. Smiling a bit at seeing Interceptor, he listened to what he had to say. In his brain he processed what the Autobot had just told him quietly.
Adam found it almost hard to believe he was now, at the very least officialy Interceptor's son. It had been weird, seeing as he had idolized him from afar for so long to think that Interceptor had actually adopted him. Of course, that was a good thing in Adam's eyes. That void was filled now, and he wouldn't, as he once put it 'die alone'.
Even though he had been Interceptor's foster son for a while, it wasn't until now that Adam really felt like he was a part of the 'Autobot Family'. "That's great! So I guess that kind of makes it official." He looked at Interceptor with a grin "I have to admit Dad, I didn't think it would be that easy. But I guess that's because I don't know a lot about the adoption process." He said, in a way that almost seemed like he was just thinking out loud.

Interceptor return a brief, light smile, and shook his head slightly."Yeah they're just slow sometimes. Phone calls, signage, etc." This was all a still an odd, surprising notion, but he didn't mind it in the long run-and he wasn't going to change his mind now. Ian leaned against his fairly large motorbike form, crossing his legs. "Well now that that's done with, I honestly don't know what to do other than resume the normal schedule, but since I'm looking out for you now, I'll probably have to revise it somewhat." Ian didn't think he needed ideas or a lot of opinions, he was just uncertain; he was quite young, and only knew so much about being a step-parent/guardian...

"Wow, I mean I knew adoption was a long process but that's a lot of trouble to go through just to get custody." Adam noted, it was a bit surprising it took all of that admitedly. Why couldn't it just be as easy as filling out a form? Most likely would have made thing a lot easier on Interceptor too. He could imagine how much stress could have come with that. "Yeah, I mean, I always figured having a kid didn't screw with the daily routine that much."
Clearly he didn't know much about how hard taking care of someone was. But who could blame him? He was thirteen, and even if Interceptor was technically built two years before him, he was mature enough to probably know a lot more about taking care of people then he was. If Interceptor hadn't told him, Adam would have in all honesty guessed he was in his twenties.

Technically, Interceptor was roughly 16. "On the contrary, depending on one's schedule, it can be a bit demanding...And since I mostly stay at the base, it just depends on the action that goes on here and if I get sent anywhere-kind of like the human military. Most of the time I just have to stay on alert in case a Con shows up somewhere or a situation calls for my help, or if KITT needs me." Interceptor often worked with KITT, major or minor tasks, since they both knew each other due to being created by FLAG."Sometimes I'll get to put my real profession into use."Unfortunately, he hadn't needed to much these days, and the bot was getting kind of bored.
"Just waiting for orders now."his holo-form yawned, expressing some of his boredom. "I'm free till someone tells me otherwise."

Adam sat there, he had never thought of how hard it must have been for the Autobots. A lot of them had two jobs, the first and foremost being the war, but also foremost and likely the most important was being a good parent. It had to be hard for some of them, especially Optimus who had to lead the Autobots and be a good Father at the same time.
With Interceptor, it sounded like it wasn't as bad, but would still be difficult. It almost made Adam wonder why he had adopted him, but he didn't question that of course. Interceptor likely did it because he wanted to, and therefore probably took it all into consideration. "Well if you're implying going out and doing something I'm all for it." He grinned "What did you have in mind?"

"Hmm. Have you done paintball before? We could go to a course near base, or just at some wooded area around here."Ian was always willing to train, but that wasn't considered fun for some people, with the exception of those like Cira and Jade perhaps. "Or we could just kickback here and play games or go somewhere else, take a drive on the water or something. Not that much to do around here."Interceptor didn't really know too well yet if Adam was the type to easily be entertained or not so he was just making wild guesses based on what he knew humans usually liked to do. As for what games Adam might like, he hardly knew right now.

Adam thought that over for a moment, he loved Paintball, but due to being tired it may not be the best idea to do that right now. He thought for a minute then nodded a bit. "I'm too tried for paintball so a drive and maybe some goofing around may be a good idea." He then added "Maybe we can catch a movie at that one drive-in theater Chris and Jazz always talk about too." He added, trying to think of things they could do.

"Oh yeah that place...I don't think I've been to it before. It's not that late, I think we'd have a few options."Ian hoped there would be enough PG-13 movies out so he wouldn't have to deal with trying to pick a mild R movie. "I'm always up for driving, land or water."the bot sometimes wished he could go under water, but his form, especially the speedboat form, was meant to be pretty buoyant. "In that case, I'm ready to leave when you are."

Adam listened to what Interceptor said, nodding a bit. He knew of quite a few PG-13 movies out that he'd like to see. His parents never let him see Rated R movies, and with Interceptor's maturity, he figured he wouldn't be too keen to the idea either. And if he did by any chance give in, it would not be any slasher flick or scary movie he often snuck in wathching over at friend's homes.
And thus, his thoughts went to what PG-13 movies were out he'd like to see. He thought well and hard before one finally came to him. "Well there is that one new movie based on the Green Lantern." It was one of the first movie way back in 2011's many sequels if one were to be exact "That's PG-13, which I know you'd prefer me seeing. Most likely, anyway... And it's pretty cool." He then added "You may like it, but if it's not your thing, we can find something else."
When Interceptor said he was ready whenever he was, Adam nodded calmly. "Yeah, I'm ready to head out, just say the word when you are Dad." Saying the 'D' word, Adam realized, was much easier now then it had been for a while.

Ian was content with almost any action movie unless something about it wasn't his style/taste. "Yeah that's cool with me."his real form backed out to transform into his car form so Adam wouldn't be squished in his semi claustrophobic, closed off motorcycle form and opened the passenger door for him."Action movies in general are cool. There's one remake i'd like to see, but even though its R i think it'd be too graphic for you. It's kind of a sequel to one they made in 2009."
He was referring to Zombieland. Ian liked some horror movies, especially ones that involved zombies. And with Zombieland being a comedy, Adam might enjoy it if he didn't mind the horror genre. "When you're older, we're getting the original from KITT..." KITT could download movies, music and media, it saved a bit of hassle.
[there's no sequel i know, but why not xD]

(They are making a sequel)
"Oh you mean the new Zombieland? Yeah, my parents wouldn't let me within two feet of their old DVD." Adam admitted, calmly getting into the passengers seat door as Interceptor transformed "But Green Lantern is a great movie too, you'll probably like it. Lots of action, suspense, and humor." He smiled lightly.
At the very least, he hoped Interceptor would. If he made him go to a movie he hated on their first outing, he would feel really bad. However, he supposed if Interceptor like any action movie he wouldn't have a problem. "It should be good." He addded.

"That would be one of the first few R movies I'd let you see. But yeah, I'm sure of it. Let's roll!"He turned around and drove out of the main hangar in a streak of silver, leaving the large building behind in a couple seconds or two. The sun was barely starting to set, it being a late afternoon, and the air was chilled since it was early winter. All though moving fairly fast, Interceptor didn't really notice. Staying active kept him warm fairly often. This would be a nice drive.

Adam listened to the words out of Interceptor's mouth. He was almost a bit caught off-guard, clearly, Interceptor was going to be like any other parent in the world. Most of whom were never keen about letting their kids watch Rated R movies at 13. Clearly, Adam was right, even for being a young mech, Interceptor was mature enough that he was going to act like a parent. "How old do you figure you'll let me start watching Rated R movies?" He asked curiously.
"It's kind of hard not to like Green Lantern really." Adam commented, grinning lightly "I've read comics since I was a little kid, he was always my favorite." He thought for a minute, then corrected himself "Well both him and the Flash really, I never could decide which I liked the best." He seemed to just ramble slightly, and stopped after that sentence, considering he knew rambling could get annoying.
