Jazz set down roughly with a nervous chuckle. "Heh heh, you'd be surprised..." Not what he had to figure out was.. Rip the ban-aide off fast or?.. Try to ease the pain and relieve it. Clearing his throat, he obviously wasn't in the wanting to do this. "When I was resurrected by accident I was eh.. Weak and not at all in shape. Thinking I was still okay, I hadn't even regained the ability to walk yet and went to create a Sparkling. It was great at first, besides the diapers, but..." Jazz seemed to shudder a bit from that certain memory where he had tried to remove the diaper with tongs then burned it while wearing a gas mask, then looking horrified at the mess to come. He shook his head again to continue the story, shaking the memory away. "I couldn't take care of the precious, oh so precious little Sparkling that was my most dearest prized possession in all the universe. I had to do what was best for him, not me. I wanted to keep him, but that would be extremely selfish of me. So.. I gave him to the one I knew I could count on the most, Optimus Prime. After a short while I had recovered, I spent every second I could with the child Chris, I couldn't just take him from Prime... That'd be so wrong. The least I could do was at least be there. Be there.. For you Chris."

Chris listened to the story calmly for a few moments, almost in complete and utter disbelief. He nearly fell back, trying to figure out for a moment if Jazz was kidding. But the way he had described that, there was too much pain in Jazz's voice for this to be one of his bad jokes. A rush of emotions went through him, he wanted to scream, cry, run...
But to do that would have been very unfair to Jazz. From the sound of it, he really had just been trying to do what was best for him. He sighed, standing there for a moment, he wasn't sure how to react quite frankly. So he took the calmest approach he could to asking the question that weighed heavily on his mind.
"Jazz, why didn't you tell me?" He asked, looking up at him "When I was old enough to understand I mean..." He added.

Jazz stared down guiltily. He could tell Chris had brought up the option of running, and almost looked up when he didn't. He had tried not being a blubbering hound like Bumble Bee, not tears to form thus far. He always said he never cried he was to hard core for that. "I didn't want you to lose sight of Optimus as your father figure, or lose respect for him. That ruin things for Prime, he had wanted a son too but he could not produce a Sparkling..."
Jazz's fingers twiddled, still looking away out of sheer guilt and disgust in himself. He had always hated himself for giving Chris up like that, but if he didn't Chris could have ended up dead. "I hung around for yeh though heh and I kept an eye out..." He murmured rubbing the back of his neck.

Chris looked up at Jazz calmly, this was a lot to take in. A lot... He would have always expected Optimus would have at least told him he was adopted... But he guessed he shouldn't have blamed Optimus... Knowing that could have taken a real toll on him when he was growing up, he sighed slightly.
He inched a bit closer to Jazz, sitting next to him calmly, he looked up into his biological Father's visory silently. There was a long silence from him, and then he spoke. "You did the right thing Jazz..." He then added "Most biological parents don't want anything to do with their kids after they give them up." He added.

Jazz continued to stare away through the silence, even as Chris had walked over. Though at Chris's response, had reached over and messed up his hair with a finger. "How about we go see that movie now hmn? Any kind you want." Jazz didn't care at this point if it were Chucky the Doll or The Messenger where a single part in it where the ghost had come out of the wall had scared the living hell out of him. To Chris they hadn't been much of course, and Jazz always had to hide his weakness against horror movies and how badly they freaked him out.

"Sure, I heard the drive-in theater is doing a marathon of the old James Bond films." Chris stood up calmly, smiling a bit. He decided that despite the fact he knew Jazz was really his Dad. And therefore now had two Father's in his life, that would change nothing, though he'd now be careful with how he acted around Jazz now. "If we drive, we can catch a couple of the last ones, it's an all night thing."

At that comment, Jazz had flipped up and was already rebuilding himself to fit the form of a car by the time he had landed, the door to the passenger seat opening for Chris. "Then what're we waiting for?! Hop in!" The sound of an engine roaring up a bit when someone pressed down on the gas, but still remained their foot on the wheel filled the small area around them. Another part of him had been doing the usual, making fake copies of the American currency that felt, looked, and seemed exact replicas of the real thing, no one being able to tell the difference from so. a large waud of cash had popped up from the dash board. "This should take care of the movie and any snacks you want Chris."

Chris grinned a bit, looking at the money. It wasn't counterfeit, the Autobots had a way of creating money that Chris hadn't quite figure out yet. As they arrived he calmly got out of Jazz payed for the tickets, and came back with a bag of popcorn and a 'frozen over coke'. Which was basically an ICEE but more hand-made. He sighed, making his way back over to Jazz, he calmly climbed onto Jazz's hood and positioned himself just as the opening titles to another James Bond film started playing. "Man, the Daniel Craig movies are the best." He grinned lightly, scooting to a point where he was comfortably on Jazz's hood "You can still see, right?"

Jazz kept a close eye on Chris while he paid for his snacks and the movie tickets, then climb onto his hood. "Yeap, clear as clear gets, just careful not to spill that soda on me." The movie had begun, and it seemed a bit interesting this time. He was completely relaxed, finally getting to spend more time with Chris and less with hunting down Decepticons. He couldn't help but let out a tire yawn, but kept his vision peeled on the movie and Chris.

Chris relaxed a bit comfortably against Jazz's hood, and eventually layed against it slightly as he finnished what remained of his snacks. He was getting a little tired, but really didn't feel like going home at the moment. He figured he may start demanding answers from Prime. Though he was sure he really wouldn't. He loved Optimus, after all, he had raised him, and he was sure Optimus had reasons why he didn't tell him.
"You know it's kind of funny." Chris commetned "I never realized how simmilar these movies are to eachother until tonight." He yawned lightly, but kept the fact he was tired as he hidden as he possibly could.

When Chris replied after the big boom in the movie which had just snapped Jazz right awake, he blinked his 'eyes' sleepily. "Of course they are, and they always use the same dude for the same job." He chuckled. "Not saying the movie is bad, but it's like all those movies are siblings afterward." He was just happy right now he could spend time with Chris, but did NOT want to fall asleep during so. He was worn out to the extremes and had managed to hide it so easily this whole time. After another explosion he seemed slightly disappointed. "I've created better than that."

Chris gave Jazz a look over his shoulder, but laughed a little bit, shaking his head slightly. "Aw come on Jazz, at least his gadgets are awesome. That's a plus right." He then added with a chuckle "Even though your sword is cooler." He watched the credits role silently, then heard an announcement that there was one more film to go "Doesn't sound like you'll have long to suffer really anyway. This is the newest one, sneak preview, which is why I really wanted to come."

Jazz couldn't help but return the chuckle to Chris's last comment. "For the sneak peek ay?" He was trying so hard not to yawn and just pass out, or as he said 'crash'. After the movies then what would Chris want to do? He looked a bit sleepy as well so possibly notm uch, but then again this kid was unpredictable.

Chris only nodded, he watched calmly, his eyes threatening to close as it went on. By the time the film was over, Chris was out like a light on Jazz's hood, he didn't really noticed, he had seen the entire movie, but once the credits had become to roll it was like an alarm clock went off in his head to tell him it was time for sleep. Which was probably best seeing as it was practically two in the morning. He snored lightly, turning lightly onto his side and only barely noticing the metal surface he was laying on.

Jazz's windshield carefully started going inwards towards the seats where he slowly slid Chris on so he could sleep. Chuckling lightly, he began pulling out of the movie area where other cars sat with teens making out of course, and drove off. This time he did the correct speed limit, yawning himself but making sure to stay awake. Bring Chris home? He wasn't sure. It was 2 am and Optimus wouldn't want him out all night. He couldn't help but let out a deep sigh at that notion. The best he could do was give up Chris? Seriously? He felt like taking a boulder to his head. How Optimus Prime hid it all the years that Chris was adopted was beyond him. He kept remembering limping horrifically, sometimes falling but at all costs making, sure he did not harm Chris. It finally took him three weeks to get to Optimus instead of less than a day. He had managed amazingly to take care of Christopher, but not well which is why he had to do this. After he finally reached Optimus Prime he had pleaded for him to take Chris or he would die. It took at least an hour and a half to finally convince the busy bot. But now today, he was sure Optimus Prime had no intention on giving the boy up. Jazz glanced over at Chris, taking a gentle turn and going right.
