KITT and Arcee got cleared to enter the NEST, and KITT escorted Arcee to their big hangar. German music played quietly in KITT's stereo. KITT and Arcee approached the hangar door and it opened for the autobots. He didn't know for sure if Arcee had been here before, but KITT thought there was nothing too special about it..."...It's awfully quiet here right now." he observed, his scanners roaming the empty, large spaces. Though these observations didn't really matter to KITT. He was just going to take a break and keep to himself for a while if Arcee wanted to go and do her own thing when she got bored...

Arcee and her hot pink motorcycle self rolled into the NEST base alongside KITT and entered the hangar. Seeing as she had been with NEST for over 4 years she had yet to explore that room, but once they were in the hangar, she transformed into her robot mode and began to poke around the room. "You been here before KITT? I haven't and I've been here for four years."

"This is my first time living in a military base, but I have been here before." KITT said. "Before we had an...'underground hangar' of sorts, with a small group of people. And before that a cozy mansion. Both were nice. I usually have no need to go anywhere else. I just come to this hangar and rest, mostly late at night only..." comfortable in his normal mode, KITT moved in pace with Arcee as they endered the large, spacious hangar.

"Oh, so you were around humans a lot back when you didn't work for NEST? Crazy....I can work with them, but being constantly surrounded by them and their own problems can get pretty annoying." Arcee moved around the hangar looking this way and that just checking it out, heck maybe she'd come here more often just because of how spatious it was.

KITT slowed to a stop, parking himself in the dead middle of a space. "Yes, I was created by them...but if you meet the right people, they're not bad. My creators were great and I have to admit I miss my father...he was killed in action..." he said slowly. "Then when I joined the autobots after they became accepted by the humans, I recieved significant upgrades once I agreed to join their cause. My forms have changed a bit over the decades, but I can't be bothered by that seeing how I was made by humans. My job has always been to protect them, so joining the autobots seemed very fitting.

KARLI zoomed down the highway, a silver blur among the other cars, she was mostly cruising but she scanned the area for any odd signals. Suddenly a signal that was in her database was found, KARLI accessed a satellite and located where the signal came from, she couldn't see anyone but she was sure he was inside the building. KARLI broke the link to the satellite and plotted a course.
"Initializing Attack Mode Transformation." KARLI said, the nanotech skin shifted forming a hood scoop. The rest of the attack mode was much like KITT'S excluding the cobra (since she wasn't a Ford Mustang GT500KR), the spoiler, and the scanner color and type. KARLI'S scanner was blue and it was like the Knight Two Thousands.
"Transformation Complete."
KARLI pulled a 180 and headed for the signal, within a few moments at top speed she would be at the building.

KARLI pulled up to the building and looked around, there was a gate stopping her from entering. "Activating Micro-jammer, over riding gate controls." The gate was opened and KARLI drove in, but by doing this she had activated an alarm she would have to find the signal quickly.
KARLI got her 'game face' on and started playing Ash Like Snow by the Brilliant Green, KARLI liked Japanese songs she didn't know why though. KARLI droved toward the signal and found the signal, she had found two possible matches and was happy it was the good one. KARLI then noticed a humanoid hot pink thing, she would've thought KARR but it was pink and shorter then KARR.
"Hello KITT, I am the Knight Automated Roving and Learning Intelligence, or KARLI for short. I don't suppose you could explain what's going on in this town." KARLI said, she wasn't sure if KITT even knew about her, she was, after all, only three or so months old. |

KITT turned to KARLI. As humans called it, he was surprised to discover that she was incredibly similar to him. Their readings were very similar. KITT had always wondered if he would ever meet anyone remotely like him...he'd found some hope when he encountered a few Autobots, but even they were different...KARLI, though...she was from Knight Industries just like he was! On top of that, his processors automatically deemed her to be a little sister when he noticed how young KARLI appeared to be.
He could only assume that Someone like Sarah or Billy had worked together and created her as Wilton Knight (and later Dr Graiman) had done those many years ago...She really was like a sister! It took him a moment to respond...
"Alas, my knowledge is limited, KARLI. We are dealing with the aftermath of a war. " he replied. Two holographic images of Sam Witwicky and Chris Stratos appeared on the screen. "As far as I know, these two are part of what's causing all the trouble around here. The Decepticons want them for some thing, but other than having tight connections with Optimus Prime, there are not many known reasons why. But we do know that Chris is the son of Optimus Prme. He may look human, but he is not. I've seen him in action." KITT tried to explain. The holographic images flickered away and a picture of Optimus appeared. "Have you heard about some of the skirmishes that have been going on?"

Arcee turned at the sight of this new comer and the alarm systems going off, the alarms would only go off if someone had broken into the base, and with this appearance of this new car and how friendly it seemed Arcee's defenses rose sky high. "KITT, if you haven't already noticed the base has been broken into, and I don't know about you, but this KARLI seems to be the only new car on the base so far. KARLI, state your alliance." Arcee honestly wanted to keep everyone in the base safe, and if KARLI did turn out to be a Decepticon, boy was KARLI going to regret coming here, but the way KITT was so calm and open about all of their operations to her made her almost think KITT was partially betraying the Autobots trust, if KARLI was a Decepticon now she knew everything that NEST was trying to do to help the humans.

"Actually, I did notice she broke in. I am also capable of doing that, all though since I am experienced with the protocols around here, I do not anymore unless the situation calls for it-and i haven't seen the need to in a long time." KITT paused for a minute, still focused mostly on KARLI. "Regardless, Arcee, I assure you she is not a Decepticon. Her readings are very similar to mine. She and I have identical makers, thus it's a most reasonable conclusion to state that she came from Knight Industries. Do not doubt my jugdements in these regards, Autobot..." It was also more than likely that the people at Knight Industries would not design her to be like KARR..."KARLI, if you want to keep the Autobot's trust, please limit your access to the satellites, for security purposes. People are very stringent about it around here..."

A small pinprick of red fire lanced across the sky. Arsenal in his pod-form was currently entering the atmosphere. He had done a pre-scan of the area and confirmed that the base he was enroute to contained autobot signatures as well as those he wasnt familiar with. He braced himself as he collided with ground raising a large dust cloud. As he was taking his bipedal form he broadcasted a short range databurst alerting the bases inhabitants that he was here and was friendly. He slowly climbed out of the crater and looked at the strangely beautiful landscape. He was among the many bots that were not used to organic worlds, but it did not unnerve him. He waited for a response before he would head towards the base. No sense in getting shot at over a mistake.

Just while he was speaking, KITT detected an incoming, welcoming signal from another Autobot near by. His processors deducted he was a new arrival. Like he was using a radio, KITT sent out a return signal. The sound of the signal itself was silent, though a faint glow of faint, red energy emitted from KITT's mustang form as the signal carried out. The energy wasn't the signal itself, merely the minor amount of energy exerted. The hangar was still open, indicating that they, or at least, KITT did, welcomed the new Autobot in. "We have another newcomer," he said to the two female bots.
The black mustang remained where he was, scanning humming faintly, the bright LED lights pacing in and out in that ever-constant, hypnotizing manner. KITT waited for any kind of response from either of the three bots.

KARLI listened to KITT as he explained what little he knew, it was interesting. KARLI turned her scanner on Arcee when she asked her alliance. KARLI'S processor tried to come up with what she could mean, she could have been talking about what Danielle had told her about. But KARLI could not be sure so she remained quiet at least KITT answered for her.
"I apologize for breaking into the base, but when I picked up KITT'S signal I found two matches in my database, one of which would not be very pleasant to deal with so I have to be sure it was KITT and not the other one." She didn't really want to use KARR'S name, she was sure KITT would understand and Arcee might get that she meant an evil AI. KARLI was currently disconnected from the satellites so she didn't have to worry about that for now.
"Understood. Initializing Normal Mode Transformation." KARLI said, she found no need to be in attack mode at this time. Her nanotech skin shifted, the hood scoop disappearing along with everything else that came with attack mode leaving KARLI in her normal Buick Riviera form. KARLI'S blue scanner went slowly back and forth, the noise it made sounding a lot like KITT'S. Since KARLI was not really paying attention to communications she didn't pick up the message, she turned her scanner on KITT when he spoke, KARLI remained silent, she was currently in a location where she had no ranking so she would observe for now. |

Arcee looked at KITT oddly for a moment, that thing he said when he reffered to her as an Autobot and not as Arcee ticked her off, it almost made KITT seem like he was a Decepticon. But nevertheless Arcee ignored this and turned back towards KARLI, "My scanners are telling me that you are rather new to everything this world has to offer, and I apologize for mistaking you of the enemy, but I promise you that there is no evil robots or cars in this facility."
Turning away from KITT and KARLI, her scanners too had found the new energy signature coming into the Earth's atmosphere. "It would appear so." She responded to KITT and transformed into her hot pink motorcylce and revved her engine. "Well lets not sit here with our engines iddling, lets go!" Arcee peeled out in place and immediately headed towrds Arsenal.

"...Yes." KITT agreed in his rather ever-neutral tone. "Autobots are very tense about the Decepticons. They're basically evil versions like Arcee. All of them have different forms and abilities, like you and me, except they were not made by the Foundation for Law and Government." he told KARLI. His mustang engine revved, and the sleek black vehicle began to follow after Arcee, though he wasn't in a big hurry. "I wonder what the new Autobot will be like." he added to no one in particular.

KARLI sighed mentally, Sam had bothered her about her 'age' thank goodness Arcee didn't do this. KARLI didn't say anything, she simply started her engine and followed KITT out of the building. She would've accessed a satellite but KITT had told her it would be better if she didn't so instead she followed them.
KARLI would have to remember that the Autobots were good and the Decepticons were evil, even tough that should be easy to remember, KARLI started to lose herself in her thoughts.
