It was an unusual day for Raymond today, he had woken up with the urge to be outside. Having decided to go with the urge he got out of bed and got ready for the day ahead. He pulled on a hoodie with some jeans and grabbed his laptop, putting it inside his bag. Along with it he had the day's newspaper and a magazine he was reading that had to do with the government and how it ran thing, he figured knowing more about the enemy would help him better understand it. Grabbing a bottle of water as he left the house he had made his way to Shadow Lake, where he sat under a tree with the magazine in hand.
His eyes focused on the magazine, he didn't even seem to take in the nice day it was. The weather was fair, sun was out, and the day seemed to be calm. Maybe having foreseen this Raymond had decided to come outside, not one of his usual habits, he preferred to be inside where he could make sure no one was spying on him and he could control the climate. Not to mention food was no worries, thankfully he noticed when grabbing his magazine from the bag that he had a twinkie in there from the other day, so he thought he was good for a while. With that he remained seated under the tree, reading and thinking.

The today's weather straight out encouraged for walks. The sun shone, it was warm, and there was in the sky no not a single one cloud. Cynthia, although unwillingly she left to the sun, she decided to do a little walk for herself to the lake. She dressed her favourite, black dress decorated with white laces. She put lace tights on, black bovver boots. She put something to drink away to the bag and she went out. To several dozen minutes reached the park. She spread the blanket on the grass. She sat down comfortably and she took the violin out of the cover. She has often come here to play. Several times she unbent fingers. She closed her eyes and she got hold of the instrument. Playing didn't cause her a spot of bother. After a few minutes she lost touch with reality.

Ray had been reading, not too interested in the world around him up until he heard am instrument playing in the background. At first he attempted to shut it out, figuring it was one of those people who went around playing instruments for money. So he wouldn't go looking for who it was or else he would feel obliged to pay the person upon making eye contact. Still the music came and came and Ray couldn't focus long enough to keep reading a paragraph. Giving up on his little piece of literature, he stood up, grabbed his stuff and went looking for the mysterious instrument player that was distracting him.
As he walked he stumbled, metaphorically, upon the musician to blame for the music that he heard. It was a girl, much into the gothic scene it appeared to him. Now he wasn't one to quickly judge, he himself was an odd fellow with his tendencies to look out the window every night and morning, double checking all the locks on the house, and many more to boot. So deciding to take the situation and meet someone new Raymond walked up to the girl, "Ummm.. Hello my name is Raymond. I see you're pretty good with a violin. I heard you from over there when I was reading my magazine."

Someone's voice shook her out 'from the trance.' Surprised she opened her eyes and she shook her head. She saw the boy by it about the Asian features. She put the violin back beside. - Um... Thanks. - Still she had the vacant stare and the absent-minded voice a little bit. She didn't still get used to compliments. A lot of people went by it indifferently. Some pointed a finger at her. However the majority from them fit momentarily in order to listen. Several times she had to explain that she isn't a musician, Which is earning with playing. - My name is Cynthia. - She said.

Raymond looked at the girl carefully, he dress was out of the usual, if not even a bit on the true side of the "Gothic" look. As she seemed to snap out of a daze, from playing an instrument would be his best guess, she spoke and seemed to be out of it. She uttered a quick thanks and Ray eyed her suspiciously, she was weird even by his standards but he remained there talking to her, she seemed nice. Ray didn't notice how people looked at her, he had gotten used to funny stares after his outbursts in public when reading up on conspiracies.
"I see you don't collect money when you play, you don't come out to play and earn some extra cash? I mean I bet you could, you're pretty good and people are easily entertained. Uhh not to say you're musical talent is nothing but a way to keep people entertained just saying that people might like it is all." He didn't want to sound rude, but he shrugged it off mentally, "How long have you been playing the violin for? You know governments are trying to take music classes out of schools to have better control of the type of music that enters the main stream in the future? That way they don't get anti-government music." He nodded slowly.

Cynthia shook off already from insensibility. She listened carefully to the boy, playing in addition with the lock of hair. A little bit she was surprised hearing his statement about the government which wants to control musicians in the future. The boy seemed to the underground activity to be an enthusiast, of conspiracy theories. - I often come here to play. I am playing for pleasure. I am not complaining about the pocket money. - She said and she threw hair back. She smiled, taking the face out to the warm wind. - I started playing the violin when I was 4 years old. That is I am already playing over 12 years. - She fell into a pensive mood for a moment. - no, I didn't hear about plans of the government...

Ray nodded as she said she played for pleasure, that was always good, he had never had anything like that in his life. He hadn't taken sports very well though he played in a peewee baseball league way back when he was younger, that didn't fly well. Instruments were never his thing though he had been taking piano lessons but he had never shown dedication to it, it was boring. His one passion though was in playing with technology, he had recently gotten his hands on a broken music player and had taken it apart to see what was wrong with it and managed to piece it together and fix it! Though it didn't work too well.
12 years of doing something seemed like a long time to Raymond, "Wow twelve years huh? That's incredible, I tried to learn piano once when I was younger, but I didn't like it too much. I'm not much of a musical talent, though if you do have any gadgets that are broken and you want to throw them away I would take them. I like to take things apart and piece them together. Like this, "He pulled the music player out of his hoodie pocket, "I fixed it... Well kind of, it still doesn't play but it turns on at least." He smiled, "And you should be careful with the government, they're up to no good. They're trying to keep us in check and control us, but people like me are fighters. We won't bend to their will." He nodded and smiled.

- To the truth it is hard to play the violin. 12 years it not at all as long as it seems. Some are playing the entire life. - She lay down on the blanket and she started fixing her eyes on the sky. - - I think that the government at the moment isn't threatening me. I am not deciding for the let meaning threat... How I will have something for repair certainly I will let you know... Hmm, perhaps you will sit down? - She asked and lightly she smiled to his side.

Ray nodded, "That's true, I mean musicians must play forever to get to the level they're at. I mean rock stars play for years and then once good get their name out there to get signed. But then again violins and such take more practice than a simple bass or guitar." Ray nodded his head thoughtfully. As the girl laid down he looked at her carefully, she didn't seem like some of the Gothic kids he had met. They were often times very aggressive and rude, she was quiet it seemed and reserved, "They may not be up to anything just yet, but its coming. I just know it, censorship is a big thing nowadays, I know its gonna happen." As she offered him a seat he smiled and accepted, "Thanks." He said and sat down.

Cynthia moved making room for him on the blanket. She put the violin away to the cover. - Playing the guitar is banally straight in the comparison to the violin. That's true, it is necessary much to exercise. During holidays I am exercising even 9 hours per day. In the sequence of the school year is differently. Just...I know you perhaps from the school... ? - She looked at him. Outfit: Here.

As Ray sat down and made himself comfortable on the blanket, he looked around, people didn't stop to look at her anymore, guess it was just the music that attracted people. He nodded as she drew comparison with the guitar and violin, "Yeah they are the same in a way, but I see violin needing a more fine technique. Of course I wouldn't know, I don't play instruments whatsoever so I couldn't tell you." He shrugged thoughtfully. He laughed nervously as she mentioned exercising, "Yeah I don't exercise, but its okay because I don't need to." He smiled big and then thought if he had seen her at school, "Well I just graduated, but maybe we've seen each other at the school. You mean the high school right?"

- Yes, I mean the high school. - Feeling the warm wind felt sleepy. She protracted lazily on the blanket. She rubbed eyes and she tried not to yawn. - At such weather I always become sleepy. I will try not to fall asleep. -She recovered from the blanket and she sat down in a Turkish manner. - If you want I can play something. - looked at the violin. Outfit: Here.

"Oh well in that case, we might have seen each other around. I'm pretty sure I recall seeing you in the halls, but this would be the first time we've ever talked I have to say." Ray shrugged, the breeze felt good on the nice, Hearing her talk about going to sleep Ray laughed, "Well if you fall asleep on me, I'll just throw you in the lake to wake you up." He smiled and shook his head, "I'm just kidding, but if you want to take a nap its fine, I just wanted to see where the violin music was coming from was all." Watching her sit in a new way Ray leaned back on his elbows, "Hmmm... Sure play whatever you like, it'd be cool to hear."

Cynthia winced when he mentioned the bath in the lake. She didn't like such jokes. She had a grudge against deep water and so far she didn't learn well to swim. - I have hope that it was only a joke. - she said and she took the violin out out of the cover. - Hmm, what in order here to play? - thought moment and she closed her eyes. When she started playing her the thought felt a long way from here. What she play? Here.

Ray made a face when she winced on the joke, maybe she didn't like the idea of being thrown in the water, or maybe she took it too seriously, but either way Ray felt bad for even saying it. He watched her as she reached for her violin and spoke, saying she hoped it was a joke, "It was a joke, sorry if it wasn't funny, I tend to say dumb things like that." Ray watched the girl as she decided on what to play and once she started Ray listened intently. It was nice and smooth, like most classical music was and when the song finally finished he smiled, "Wow that was nice, you're really good you know?"
