Red curly hair carried up into the air from the light breeze as the pale girl with blue-gray eyes walked down the sidewalk of downtown. She had been having a good day, so her mom let her have a time downtown, with her cellphone on and on her at all times, along with her ID and her money on her. She brushed her fingers across her jean jacket to her jeans, before skipping forward, then slowing back down to a walk.
She looked excited, which was unusual since 'downtown' time was usually a normal occurance with most people. It wasn't a common thing for Carwen Lewis however.
For her, it was a treat that only happened when she didn't have any hospital trips that day. She had no hospital trips, so she got to go. And she was loving it.
As she walked down the street, she began to reach into her pocket, only to pause. The excitement was gone and she began to pat her pockets before beginning to panic.
Her inhaler was missing!
It was in its plastic bag and in its pocket, now it wasn't. She began to moan and shook out her jacket painfully before almost dropping it on the sidewalk, wheezing slighlty as she began to stress out.
"Where is it?" she muttered in a slightly panicked voice, retracing her steps.
She barely noticed when she nearly crashed into another female.

Rosalie was walking around downtown in this, trying to remember the town and how to get to places she'd need to go. As she was doing so a girl bumped into her. She was about to say something, but then noticed the girl seemed to be looking for something and was beginning to hyperventilate a bit. "Are you okay?" Rose asked, looking at the redhead, showing a tiny bit of concern. ((Clicky teh word this))

The cold gray eyes followed the trail of picture of the carousel horse before her. The book was The Catcher in the Rye, a favorite of hers. It was captivating and yet still extremely realistic. Holden merely captures what kids right now are feeling. The pre-established feeling against the concept of the future.
Leah, shook her head. No, it's true, she did for one believe in the generalized fear of change. She herself had it. It was nauseating and nerve wrecking to think about it. That's why she's giving a favorite away. To replace any reminder of the never ending concept. To try to compensate the fact that she just wants everything to stop. But no, the knot in her throat just wouldn't release itself.
You see, change is the force that makes us let go of things that we only just had. It robs opportunities, and any real connection and forces you to start over. Like the loss of ones you've loved.
A tear drops from her eye, marking a wet spot on the book. She wipes it away hurriedly. Closing her eyes, she tries to breathe. Unfortunately, her same ole luck has done it again. She accidentally, runs into a person, knocking herself down.

Carwen had opened her mouth to reply before she had fallen down. She hit the ground with a low wheeze and shook her head slightly before nodding insanely. "Yeah, I need my inhaler! It fell out of my pocket and..." she began to explain, before focusing on trying to calm down.
She didn't even notice the fact that she had just been knocked into and worked on keeping her balance, while trying to calm down. She was almost failing at it, though was managing to keep herself at a slightly wheeze. She shivered and began to look around before going back down to the ground to see if anyone had kicked it out of the way.
"It's in a plastic bag, have you seen it?" she asked, looking up at the other two females.
She didn't know how odd she looked before she went back to trying to find it, the slighlty audiable wheeze becoming more audiable. She would need to calm down before she actually had a dangerous episode. She wanted to avoid that part.

Rosalie watched what seemed like slight chaos happen in front of her. She caught the brunette girl before she could hit the ground. "Are you okay?" she asked the girl, feeling a bit repetitive. Then, hearing the red head say she had lost her inhaler, Rose began to look around for it. She could tell by the sound of the girl, she needed her inhaler or she might have an asthma attack. "Try to calm down your breathing." she instructed, as she continued to search.

As Leah regained her balance, she began to panic. 'Oh god, what have I done?,' she thought. As she helped locate the lost inhaler, she kept a close eye on the red-headed girl. The girl was wheezing, something she knew was very bad. Looking under the benches and the side of the sidewalk, she soon realizes the she had a paper bag that she was supposed to carry her book in. Taking it out of her pocket, she hands it to the girl, dropping her book in the process. "Here, use this for now." she instructed the red head. Leah's breathing was heavy too. To stop this, she forces herself to try to stop thinking of the worst outcomes.

Carwen began to realize this was a sort of like a soap or something, but she didn't care. Her stress levels were rising and she jumped slighlty as she was handed the paper bag. She began to put it over her mouth and focused on breathing. She felt her lungs forced to move slower, though that didn't help too much. She shifted slightly and stayed on the sidewalk, looking for her inhaler.
She needed that thing and she began to close her eyes, almost counting her breathes. She was at that brink where if she got anymore stressed she was going to just hand over her cell phone and tell them to call nine one one, then her mom. This was almost to that point and she began to search for the cursed inhaler again, seeing if she missed it in her pockets before attempting to look for it again.
'This had been such a good day too,' she thought, making a face as she breathed, that low wheeze still there, but she was breathing slower.

Rose walked a ways down the street in the direction the girl had been coming from. Right by a parking meter she spotted a plastic bag that seemed to have something in it shaped like an inhaler. She went over to it and opened the bag, revealing the red head's inhaler. She slightly jogged back over to the girls, handing the wheezing one the inhaler. "Is this it?" she asked sitting down next to the girl. She hoped that was it because the girl was still wheezing pretty bad even with the paper bag the brunette had provided her.

Seeing the wheezing form of the girl stopped Leah. Pain was something that she had always been uneasy about. It was frightening to see another person go through whatever kind of pain. Their expressions hold a true meaning of that. There was always so much anguish in their eyes. You could also see their muscles growing weaker as the cause of the pain grows. The thought would nauseate anyone.
She gulps, trying to swallow the knot in her throat. Slowly, she looks around once more for the cursed inhaler. Millions of thoughts were running through her head. What was anyone supposed to do in these situations. Out of frustration in her process, she thought, 'Why would they even begin to teach Health when those big man 'educators' can't teach us anything about reality!' Her ramblings were broken.
It was the brunette. She held a bag and Leah's heart leaped, when she heard the possibility. She returns to the two, hoping that it was in fact the missing inhaler.

Carwen looked up slightly as Rosalie came back and perked up. She nodded and gently took it out of the brunette's hands before taking it out of its plastic baggy before taking the need medication. She sometimes felt like a druggy, with the way she sometimes inhaled the fumes, but that was quite all right. It didn't help that she felt a little shakey afterwards, which made her just hate her asthma all the more.
She looked up and smiled a little. "Sorry about that...and thank you," she greeted softly and put the inhaler back in its bag, then into a new pocket, over her chest instead so she could button it closed.
Carwen didn't care how it looked, but it would probably prevent it from being lost...again. She slowly stood up and introduced herself.
"I'm Carwen Lewis by the by."

Rose breathed a sigh of relief, glad that the girl was okay. "No problem." she said, giving the girl a small reassuring smile. "Nice to meet you Carwen, I'm Rosalie Austin." she replied, introducing her self to the red head. She was glad the chaos had ceased, she had left Vegas to escape it. Little did she know, chaos was in no way a stranger to this town.

Leah sighed with relief. Her body seemed to be going back into normal routines. She looks down to the ground. This was a usual action for her, oddly enough. She was shy that was for sure. Her body language suggested that she doesn't let her guard down too easily. It went on to say that she doesn't give her trust to just anyone either. She looks up; hearing their introductions. A million ways to introduce herself went through her head. Ways such as: Leah, Leah Gerard; Hiya! I'm Leah; 'Sup, I'm Leah. Those options seemed so stupid that she just went on with it.
"And, I'm Leah Gerard." She says quietly.

Carwen perked up slightly and blushed a little. "Sorry about that drama. I just...well, my asthma can get really bad. As in suffocating bad. So...sorry. I just freaked a little," she responded softly, looking at the other two nervously.
She leaned back, slightly, on her heels and smiled a little up at them. "Mom usually doesn't let me out to explore, so I was really excited about today. I got to go downtown, without supervision," she explained, though blushed in embaressment.
Carwen smiled a little and looked at Leah before slowly handing back over the paper bag. "Thank you Leah," she said, sounding warm.
She rarely sounded warm. She saved that voice for kids or things (people) she found adorable. It was the voice she used on frightened kids, or nervous dogs. Not that she was comparing Leah to any, but it was the voice she used to convey that she was a friend.
She just didn't use it often.

"There's no need to apologize, you can't help having asthma." Rosalie said. She nodded in understanding when Carwen said she wasn't usually allowed out. Hearing the shy voice of the brunette introduce herself, she said "Nice to meet you Leah." She gave the girl a soft smile to show she was friendly.
