The year is 15 ABY. The New Republic, led by Chief of State Leia Organa Solo, finally seems to find itself on stable footing after years of unrest. Luke Skywalker, the greatest of the Republic’s heroes, has departed for Yavin 4 to begin the Jedi Order anew. Slowly but surely, he has managed to begin the slow process of reconstruction. From all corner of the galaxy, force adepts from all backgrounds trickle in to learn and harness their powers.
Yet even now the galaxy does not know peace. The Imperial Remnant, still loyal to Palpatine and his ideals, prowl the Outer Rim of the Galaxy. Once a loose coalition of poorly-coordinated forces, they have recently been firmly reunited under the leadership of Gilad Pellaeon, and have been showing worrisome signs of a possible resurgence, as they have been winning several key military victories in their home corners of space. Could the Empire gain enough power to strike down the young Republic and bring about another imperial reign?
And while the Empire draws the eyes and worries of the Republic, something stirs quietly along the dark edges of the Force. For where there is light, there must always be shadow…
