"Yeah they are, I just wish I had more then enough to finish." Chris sighed taking the list from his backpack "I still need The Adventures of Huck Finn, The Haunting of Hill House, and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer." He had been saving the 'adventures' books for last as he had already read both of them.
"Wow that's gotta suck about the librarian thing." Chris commented "Alice screwed up a lot of things, didn't she?" He asked, recalling the name Sam had given her.

Leo perked up and immediatly looked up The Haunting of Hill House. He knew the other two were in the Mark Twain area. He smiled and nodded. "Nice...I might have to read it when your finished dude. All right, let us see here...First two are Mark Twain. Are you going to read Tom Sawyer Abroad and Tom Sawyer, Detective as well? They follow Tom and Huck later in life," he inquired, as he moved to the place where Mark Twain was, pulling the books off with practiced ease, including the two most likely not on Chris's list.
He spoke as he walked, before looking over at Chris. "What?" he inquired, before handing the books to Chris.
Once he was sure Chris had them, he went and got 'The Haunting of Hill House', giving it to Chris as well. "Have everything?" he asked, grinning.

"Alice, you know Pretender chick who tried to murder you three?" Chris commented, though he guessed he knew a little more then Leo "They have human names usually. Only reason I know is we had them on Cybertron too."
Chris nodded, looking over the books calmly. "I actually read the whole series. But the school insists I reread both books." He laughed "But yeah, that should do it."

Leo made a face and shuddered. "Please, don't remind me of that. Why did she have to be so hot? Why?" Leo asked, before hitting his head a little against the nearest bookcase.
"I don't know why she hates me man, but she still likes Sam! So unfair in that right dude. Ah...well, Sam was always the lucky one. Kick ass car, sexy girlfriend...having the librarian still like him. That's always a good one," he added with a long suffering groan.
He sighed softly and nodded. "All right, let's go to the front desk...and see me get glared at. It's fun! The way her eyes get all scrunchy and how it makes you think that facing the Constructicons would be easier," he joked, though the way his face paled, it was obvious he was still terrified over the idea.

"That's the rouse of it all. Their primary use is subduction as far as I know." Chris commented "Though with the Autobots, it's more for protecting people that can't drive a car mostly. You know, close contact protection."
"Hold on, you faced the Constructicons?" Chris followed Leo, a bit shocked "Dude those things form Devestator, how could you have possibly faced them an lived?"

"Yeah, but...library? Thought it was better to whine about him having a kick-ass car then the fact his awesome car is...an awesome giant alien robot? Besides, I prefer to think of it as having a kick-ass car. Makes it sound better in my head," Leo responded with a grin.
He stopped dead at Chris's responce though and shuddered. "I know...didn't the Twins tell ya? We nearly did die, along with these chopper guys! I saved Simmons life, and helped save those guys in the chopper! It...gave me the serious part of my brain, but I still act like a frat boy all the time," Leo responded with the tiniest of grins before looking forward.
"Holding onto something really tightly by the way," he added and smiled brightly as the Librarian came into view, who only glared back at him in return.
"Hey! I want to check these books out!" he said, pointing ot the pile in Chris's hands.

"Uh, if you don't mind me asking, who the hell is Simmons?" Chris had heard the name before but had never met the person behind the name.
"I'm a mix of both, even after all I've been through lately." Chris then added with a shrug "I get the serious most of the time gene from Dad though. As you could probably guess."
He set the books on the counter, and the process was quick, though the librarian seemed to glare at him too. He really wished he could figure out why she was even glaring at him. But didn't think about it too hard.

Leo grinned. "Simmons, the wacko, former, Sector 7 guy who now works in his momma's deli and runs Big 'Effing Robots, who is my rival and is a little off his rocker? Simmons," he responded cheerfully.
He just nodded slowly at it all and smiled more at the Librarian. Ignoring it, he gently took the books back and smiled. "Thanks! See you in a week, when I come to study!" he called over his shoulder, which made the Librarian only glare more at him.
He ignored this and smiled brightly at Chris. "So, who drove ya?" he asked.

Little did the teenagers suspect, a shadow was following them around campus, just to check things out for the purpose of acquiring potentially new information, and just to cure some boredom. Ravage was doing what he did best. He'd been following them for a while now, tracking their scents like a bloodhound. Silently he moved across the quiet parts of the large university, following them to the library. He jumped onto the roof with a leap from a large trash-crate. Ravage layed low. Hardly making a sound he remained just above the edge of the entrance of the library, but completely out of sight from the ground. He knew the human wouldn't sense him, but he had a feeling by now that Chris would, and at this point, he didn't care if he was found out. He could easily run away when he got bored.

"Never met him, but wow... He sounds, interesting." Chris replied, rolling his eyes, he took the books "Thanks again Leo."
He sighed, thinking for a moment as they walked out. His eyes shifted to the side, seeing a shape. Was that... Ravage? No it couldn't be, according to Bee he was dead and gone.
He shook his head and started walking. "Sideswipe gave me a ride, he's kind of the 'car' my Dad gave me." He admitted.

Leo shrugged a little and answered, “No problem dude.”
Exiting the library, he had no idea of Ravage on the roof or the fact that Chris had sensed him. He didn’t know that one of the most dangerous Decepticons was near the library…again. Like Alice, only a giant robotic panther.
At Chris’s answer, however, he stopped. “Sideswipe? Really? That’s…cool. He’s your guardian now or am I getting confused? Well, every Autobot might be your guardian at some point or another,” he responded, sounding ready to do anything but meet Sideswipe.
Side-effect of meeting Skids and Mudflap first.

Ravage sensed the differences between Chris and Leo. Indeed, he was the one that Megatron spoke so much about. His tail flicked lightly, pondering over attacking. He was compelled to with it being so quiet here. He'd like to scare off whoever was inside. It could be fun, he thought.
Nimbly with light feet, he jumped off the roof, soaring high over them, activating the two pivoting machine guns on his back. He pivoted around as he landed softly. Ravage crouched low, growling at the two fleshlings.

The second Chris saw Ravage, his mind panicked. He had faced Ravage before, or at least seen him, as a child. And it was one severely dangerous little mother fragger. "Leo, we've got to get out of here." He tugged on his friends arm.
His brain was focussed on crying out for Sideswipe, but he wasn't sure how far away his best friend and guardian currently was. However, he knew Ravage would kill either Leo or himself, or try to get more Decepticons. Especially with him out in the open the way he was.

Leo let out a slew of curse words before backing up a little and moving toward the parking lot, keeping his eyes on Chris. "Come on dude, you are so 'effing lucky I know this campus," he said, working on getting Chris to the parking lot.
He shifted then, putting himself between Chris on Ravage, hoping Chris wouldn't notice. "Run through those pillars and go at a diagenel," he explained, trying to get Chris to move.
"That, or start shouting now," he added.

Ravage shifted a little to face Leo more directly. Another growl carried through his throat, the machine guns were still pointed at an angel at him and Chris. The cat could change direction and bound forward after them at any moment, no matter how fast the boys ran. Speed was one of Ravage's strong points, after all. Two pillars before the parking lot wouldn't slow him down much at all.
