Everything started with Andrew Anthony Cane. Andrew Anthony Cane started out as a brilliant medical student who loved to help people. Who wanted to rid the world of diseases and all illness.
That was until he turned the age of twenty nine, when he realized that he had the power to control the patients that the worked with, he could use them, mess with then and have his own personal puppet show.
With his new found interest he gathered some of the brightest doctors, nurses, and counsellors as well as the most trusted guards and set out to bring his new interest to life and expand it.
A few years later the hidden island was found, and Cane named it Shutter Island. It took 10 years to build all the buildings on the island, as well as find patients and build up the island's name. But in short ten years Shutter Island became one of the most popular place to send the insane.
No one knows what truely goes on at the Island expect the staff. The patients don't know what goes on until they get there, and once they they get there, they are never allowed to leave. No one that has entered the island has ever left.
Will someone find out what is happening to these patients? Will one finally escape? No one knows, but in a hundred years no one has ever even attempted to escape. Andrew Cane's grandson now runs this Island and this Cane is the more corrupted. He enjoys this way to much and will stop at nothing to get what he wants.
So far Cane and the rest of the staff has had complete control over the puppet show. Will things ever change?
