"Boring," Leah deadpanned. She caught herself, usually she kept herself polite for everyone and made sure that she kept her emotions intact. "I meant, there wasn't much to do." Her summer consisted of AP homework, reading lists and online classes which is not exactly a MTV reality-worth summer. Nonetheless, she's counting the days before she bids adieu to this town. "I'm not much a talker, you see." She chuckled awkwardly looking at Chris. He's too nice for a regular guy maybe because they somehow bonded with coloring books all those years ago- something that eludes her. "I always wanted travel but you know school goes first. I'm hoping next year, I'll be able to" Wow, can she even be more of a nerd but at least she's trying to have a conversation like her mother wanted her to do.

"I haven't traveled in a few years either, don't worry about it." Chris shrugged a bit. Though he had traveled a lot that Summer, unwilingly he didn't bring it up. But he decided to just be honest. "Well I guess that's not entirely true... I went to New Jeresy a few weeks ago with Dad." He shrugged a bit "It was, needless to say a lot of akward 'catching up' over at my Uncles place."

Smiling, a small smile, Leah nods. She laughs slightly, "Well, distant family relations usually have that in their agenda when they meet up." She shrugs, feeling more comfortable with her words. 'Okay, practice makes perfect,' she thought to herself, 'keep talking.' "So how was the Garden State? Other than the awkwardness at least." she asks him.

"Yeah, true I hadn't seen him in twelve years... I guess he felt like he owed it to me and David." Chris explained shaking his head with a small shrug "It i-was good.. It's not as exciting as a small town like this, but the ba-My Uncle's house was nice." He found himself finding it increasinly hard to talk about his new home in the past tense, needless to say.

Taking the appropriate amount of effort in nodding to indicate that she was listening, Leah couldn't help but snicker at the fact that he had used exciting to describe this quaint little town. To her it felt like cage, and as off beat as it sounded she felt trapped. Wow, even just in her head, saying that sounded so awful. "You must love this place," She commented in monotone voice, "Even if it feels like it's something from the Twilight zone?" This surprise her a little bit, she never spoke to anyone what she thought of the place and it's oddness. Maybe that's the treason, she feels like a caged bird in this town because Tranquility Falls is anything but tranquil.

"The Twilight Zone? Oh you mean because of the Giant Robots." Chris bit his lip, great so she was one of the people who knew a lot about them. And knew they frequently came here, that wasn't good. He wouldn't be able to keep his mouth shut now. "Uh... Is that the time, I got to go. I think my ride's here." He was clearly nervous, knowing this wasn't the best thing to talk about after not seeing eachother for years.

'Way to be inconspicuous,' thought Leah, amused, 'I swear to God if Superman comes flying in, I'm gonna laugh so hard'. She chuckled to herself and realized that she's been reading too many comics. "Ok see ya around Chris," said Leah before turning back to her book. "Weird ass town," she muttered before chuckling again.

What happened next may as well have been a blurr. Chris turned to wave goodbye, but instead walked into a waiter. Almost instintively a pulse blast shot out. No no no no no no.... NOT NOW! He thought to himself as the man was sent flying into a wall. His eyes widened, and he ran, not looking back out the door. "Dammit, that did not just happen." He muttered to himself frantically dialing Sideswipe's comm on his new iPhone

It was so sudden that Leah actually gasped. She glanced at the waiter, who was thrown against the wall, and at Chris's retreating form. She sighed then said to herself, "Am I dreaming? " She pinches herself, "Ow...super strength? Chris Stratos." She bit her lip then taking her book she left the bewildered crowd in the diner. Tranquility Falls is a home to robots but superdudes? It can't be especially someone she knew. There's something going on and Leah just found another reason to dislike this place. "He should've at least worn tights."
