Chris had been in town for the day, and had somewhat decided to have some form of 'date' with Monica. It had been fun, but only had been going out for a drink at the diner. So he had decided to bring her back to the base for a tour. Seeing as he lived there, she'd probably be seeing a lot of it. "So, here we are.." He commented, he had walked ahead of his eyes and walking into the Autobots hangar "Home sweet... Base." He commented. He waited for some kind of reply from Monica.

Monica was enjoying her little tour of the base. It was cool to see where Chris was living. "This is awesome." she commented, looking around as she walked. "So you're gonna be living here from now on?" she half asked, half stated. Monica looked at him, waiting for a response. She was sad that Chris wasn't living in Tranquility anymore, but knew it was for his safety.

"Yeah, this is where I'm living now... Probably gonna be home schooled here too until this all blows over." Chris commented, he hoped that would be soon just so he can get back to a normal life and being with Monica and Mark all the time "But when I do get back, I have to get up really early. If one of the Autobots takes me... It's still 2 hours away." He rolled his eyes. But slowly took her hand slowly "But it's not that bad... The NEST members are nice, and the Autobots... Well they're my family, 'nuf said."

Monica sighed when he said he'd have be home schooled. She hated thinking they wouldn't be together their senior year, it wouldn't be the same with just Mark. When he took her hand in his, she intertwined her fingers with his. "I'm glad your with people that care for you." she said, a small smile on her face. Truly she was happy that he was with people that cared about him, but she wished more than anything that he could be with them and her and Mark at the same time.

"Yeah, I am too. When Aunt Rita died... I always wondered what would happen to David and I if Uncle Richard died too..." Chris admitted, then smiled a bit "But that's Dad for you, he always shows up again at just the right time it seems like." He chuckled "And I mean... It might be hard for me to adjust... And for you and Mark to adjust to me not being in school all the time. But it's better I'm with people I know can take care of me, you know?"

"Yeah, I guess." Monica said to Chris' comment about his father. She hadn't met him yet, but due to what she'd heard, Chris was right. "Yes, I know." she replied, looking at her shoes. She knew she'd have to adjust to it, it was inevitable, but doing so would be difficult. Especially since they had just started their relationship.

Epps had been doing a bit of walking around, quite bored with his life at the moment. He hadn't seen any live action, hadn't seen his wife. Everything seemed quite.. Dull, to say the least. After jogging a whole lap aroudn the entire base, he decided to go to the hangar to check on the Autobots, scope things out, be bored, basically.
As he entered he saw Chris, but wasn't able to see his girl, seeing as there was quite a load of items in his way. He quickly made his way to the boy. Today was his borthday, and the man didn't want to just leave the kid without at least a birthday hello. He smiled at him and shook his hand, their own handshake before slapping him on the back, rather hard. "What up big man! Happy birthday!" He said. Just then, he noticed the girl. He had never seen her around before, so he was qutomatically curious as to who she was and what she was doing here. He had no intentions of flirting with her, seeing at that would probably be illegal.
"Well, I see you brought someone else along with you." He said as he nodded to the female. "I'm Master Sergeant Robert Epps, but most everyone just calls me Epps." He spoke, with a smile as he turned back to Chris. "I hope I'm not getting into the middle of anything, I know what you kids be doing.." He said with a laugh.

Chris was bit surprised by Epps's sudden pressence. Though he had expected alot of this that day. He bit his lip slightly, but smiled. He knew he had mentioned Monica about 30 times around the base, so he simply introduced her. "Thanks." He replied to the happy birthday comment "Epps, this is my girlfriend Monica." His face went red at the last comment he made. To be honest, he was a little embaressed that he had said that. Though not completely.

Monica chuckled when Chris blushed, though she knew she was blushing a little bit too. "Nice to meet you Epps." she said with a smile on her face. She held out her hand for a handshake. She felt herself blush more at Epps' last comment.
