Carwen jerked back a little as Alex's hands looked at his hands before laughing a little. "Sure...you're old," she responded with a giggle and looked over at Sarah.
Her eyes suddenly pleading to not reveal the part about the inhaler. She was being normal, though at the suggestion of dinner she looked up slightly as her opinion was asked. She blushed and responded, "I'm not allergic to any foods, so anything is good. I just need to call Mom."
She blushed and got out her cell phone before pushing the speed dialing her Mom's cell. She smiled a little as she picked up immediatly. "Hey, Mom. I met some friends and they want to have dinner. Can I go?...Yes, I'll be home before ten and I'll call if I'm late...Yes, I'll have my cell phone on...Yes, they are nice...No, they aren't psychotic...Yes, I'm sure...NO! There is no problem!...No, they don't know...Yes, I'll tell them...Yes I'll call if I need a ride. I love you Mom. Hugs and kisses," she called, shifting nervously at some parts, and hung up before looking over at them.
"Yeah, Mom wants me to tell you guys I have asthma and if my inhaler doens't work, call emergency. Choose a spot?" she explained, though she rushed through the first part.

He replied, "It better be a joke..Do you know how old I am?" He looked at Carwen and said, "You look like fourteen or fifteen.." He said, "I can call emergency.. and I know how to drive..what else I know first aid and CPR.." You wouldn't die.. in my case.." He smiled lightly.
He said to everyone, "How about the Italian restaurant nearby?" Jake and Sarah said, "Okay.." He got his stuff and closed his umbrella and his chair. His towel was on one of his shoulder. His picnic basket was in his right hand. He walked to the parking lot and said, "Carwen.. if you need a ride.. just come with me on my Mustang convertible..." He winked.

Carwen blushed and shook her head a little. "Yes, I was joking about you being old. I thought you were about 17 though. And I'm 15," Carwen responded with a tiny shrug.
She looked over at him and blushed as he went on about how she wouldn't die. Most guys didn't bring up CPR and she looked down at her bare feet. She looked up slightly at the suggestion of the Italian resturant and nodded. "Sounds...nice," she added softly.
She carried her bag up to the concrete. Her cheeks were still flamed slightly from her blushing and she looked up slightly as he suggested something to her. She blinked a little at the suggestion and responded, "Thank you."
She looked up at him and looked back down. She was starting to feel like one of those stupid girls she went to school with who saw a cute boy and started giggling and fantasizing their life together. She had crushed over KITT and now Alex...would it never end?
She put on her sandals and threw her jacket over her shoulders so she looked normal before walking up, though stopped at the car. She may not know cars, but she loved this one. "Wow..." she breathed out softly.

By the way I am 16..You were close.." Jake and Sarah entered their car and they said, "Meet you there.." They already started the engine and left. Alex carried his stuff and he got his car keys out. It unlocked his car and trunk. He put his stuff down and he grabbed his extra shirt and put it on. He said, "So Carwen.. what do you think.. this day was like?" He was like her too. He didn't why though. He mainly liked her being all shy and blushing. He winked again and made sure she caught it. He got the box of chocolates he bought recently and gave it to her.
He entered the driver seat and started up the engine and said, "You have everything right..?" He put his one hand on the steering wheel and he drove a lot so he was pretty experienced. He put the other hand on the Carwen's shoulder. He said, "Let's go.." He turned on music.

Carwen looked up and blushed a little at that. She didn't have a knack for ages, she just took a shot in the dark which allowed her to be accurate some days and insult people on other days. She waved as the pair went over to their car and left, though she waved a little at them as they drove off.
She put her stuff, her bag, into the back with his stuff, though made sure her inhaler was actually on her before she focused on looking anywhere then at Alex. Her cheeks flushed a little more and she looked over at him as he began to address her, with the question.
What did she think about today? "Today was fun!" she responded happily with a smile.
She flushed again as he winked at her and he gave her the box of chocolates. "Th...thank you!" she responded shyly, though it kind-of came out as an exclamation.
Carwen smiled at him before going to sit in the front seat of the convertable, as it had the easiest access for her. At Alex's question, which came as she was buckling up, she nodded. "Yeah. My water and my inhaler is actually on me, not in the trunk," she answered.
She flushed more as he placed his hand on her shoulder, though didn't try to shake him off. She looked over at him with a smile and then looked ahead. "Yeah, let's go," she answered softly.
Carwen still had a blush, which seemed to be a permanent fixture on her face now, and she smiled a little as they began to drive. She laughed suddenly as the wind hit her face and her hair was whipped from her face. For the first time, she felt free...as if she couldn't be stopped for anything. She wondered if this was how people were able to run were like. Run without stopping or until their legs gave out. Only...she was starting to fall in love with convertables.
She already liked this one; maybe once she had a car, and paid for the insurance, she would get one. Maybe not new, but she would definantly be getting a convertable. Maybe from Bobby Bolivia's or Bolivia's...or something like that. She smiled over at Alex before looking back at the street.

 As he drove there, there was awkwardness. He laughed a little and he changed the music to classical music. The song was Light Cavalry Overture - Franz Von Suppe. He was already there and he saw Jake and Sarah entering the building and looking for a table for four. He parked his car and walked out of the car and he dusted off some more sand and took out his sandals that were filled with sand.
He walked to the passenger seat and opened the door for Carwen. He said, "Go.. madam.." He knew he was being a gentleman.
He waited for to exit and closed the door. He walked to the entrance and waved to Jake. He walked to their table and he sat down. It was pretty decent and cozy. He saw that the waitress got four menus. Jake looked at it and he ordered a small cheese pizza for him and Sarah to share. Alex looked at it and he ordered spagetti with meatballs. He asked, "Carwen what are you getting?"

Carwen blushed slightly at the awkwardness. She loved the fact that she felt so free in the convertible. She enjoyed the ride, despite the awkwardness. Of course, when they parked, she found that she her hair was as tangled mess. She groaned softly and began to work a little at her curls with her fingers. She was careful and seemed to forget that she, well, needed to get out of the car. She nearly jumped when the car door opened for her and she looked up with a blush, though removed her seatbelt. “Thank you,” she answered quietly and slowly got out.
She buttoned the middle button on her jacket, so it would remain on her body and not reveal the fact she was wearing her bathing suit under this, and she followed Alex up into the restaurant. She blushed a little and sat next to him at the table. She picked up the menu and found something she knew she would eat. She would rather not try stuff when meeting new people. It made them stare at her oddly when she spat stuff out she didn’t like. “Angel hair pasta and marinara sauce please,” she answered softly, and smiled up at the waitress warmly.
She looked back down after that and handed over the menu slowly. She wasn’t blushing anymore, but she still looked nervous. She crossed her ankles under the table, before uncrossing them, then crossing them again.

He then saw that Carwen was nervous. He saw that under the table she was crossing her ankles. He said, "Isn't that uncomfortable?" He waited for the orders and Jake and Sarah were doing a tiny conversation.
Alex said, "So... do you like Tranquility..?" He smiled lightly and winked with his mouth opened slightly. It was his famous seductive pose he ever did. He licked and bit his lips. He was nervous too. He didn't know why. He said, "Phew.. its stuffy.." He called the waiter and he said, "Can we have the air conditioner on?" The waiter replied, "Yes sir.." The air conditioner was on. He just looked outside the window and he saw some cars passing by and people walking. He laughed at them.
He noticed that Jake said, "Come on Alex eat some appetizers.." Alex turned and he saw there were some appetizers. There was some garlic bread and he ate some. He took some for Carwen and said, "Open up.. eat some.."

Carwen flushed slightly at the question and shook her head. “Actually…no. It’s odd, I know, but it’s not uncomfortable,” she responded quietly, pushing around the silverware a little with her fingertips.
For some reason, this was making her think of a double date. She shifted and cross her ankles again. She shifted again, nervously and looked up at the question, though flushed at the pose. The question took a moment to process and she nodded. “Yes, it’s much better then my hometown!” she responded happily, though that blush was back.
She was a little surprised over his comment, but decided that people’s tastes were different…though she did think it was a little stuffy. She looked a little relieved when the waiter got the air conditioning on and thanked him when he came by before focusing again on the conversation. She blinked when Alex laughed, though followed his gaze and smiled a little instead.
She didn’t know why he laughed, but it was a little funny, she guessed. She continued to stare outside until the sound of Jake telling Alex to eat made her think the food was here. She blushed as Alex offered to feed her garlic bread. She gently took the bread, though finished eating it on her own. “Thanks,” she murmured softly.
Her face gave a whole new meaning to the word ‘red’ and ‘blushing’.

Alex saw her blush and though How cute.. He wanted to squeeze her cheeks and say cutie but he just smiled broadly. He replied, "It is very odd indeed.. is it a habit?" He licked his lip and was playing with his hair. He didn't blush, but inside he was blushing.
He then sang Carwen a song I'm Yours by Jason Mraz./i] He closed his eyes and sang with passion. He took her hand and finished the song and said, "What do you guys think?" Jake and Sarah clapped and the waiter came in time with food. Alex got his phone and it was 7:00 p.m. Jake and Sarah were excited to eat that pizza. They licked their lips and started to grab their pizza so fast. Alex smiled and said, "You weirdos.. you guys will choke.. slow down.."
Alex saw his plate and slowly ate. He saw that Carwen had sauce on her lips. He kissed it off. He put his arms around her waist and he kissed her passionately. He couldn't believe he was already into her. They just met, but he was already into her. Jake and Sarah saw and they said, "Go guys.." Alex stopped kissing and he continued to eat because he saw more people staring.

Carwen nodded slowly. “Yeah. My mom said it was something every lady should know. Along with how to drink tea and all other things lady like. Mom’s grandmother taught her,” she explained quietly.
She blinked a little as he sang to her and flushed again. Well, she was already flushing, so she just went darker. She looked over down at the way he was holding her hand and somehow managed to flush even more. She blinked and at the question, she smiled a little. “It was handsome,” she answered, though she had a smile, showing off her humor.
As the food came, she slowly removed her hand from Alex’s and went to the food. She began to eat, enjoying the taste of her dinner. She smiled a little and turned to talk to Alex when she saw that he was looking at her. She almost asked when he kissed the sauce off of her lips. She flushed more and was surprised.
Suddenly, she was pulled into a kiss; one that was causing her chest to constrict in a way that surprised her. She didn’t push him away, but kissed him back. She was surprised that she reacted this way. When the kiss was over, she kind-of sat there, cheeks red, and she was breathing a little oddly. She didn’t hear people and forgot that she was even in a restaurant. She blinked a little and slowly went back to her food.

He finished eating his spagetti and Jake and Sarah finished after him. Alex drank his water and he saw that outside it was starting to rain. Jake said, "Sarah dear.. I will drive you home tonight.." Sarah said, "Okay.. that's good sweetie.."
Sarah and Jake were cuddling for warmth. Alex smiled at them and he said, "Carwen.. I can drive you home if you want.." He called the waitress and she picked up the plates. The table was empty. He was humming a song Lucky by Colbie Caillat and Jason Mraz..
He was happy at this moment and he loved the rain. He knew he had to drive safely and he whispered to Carwen's ear, "By the way.. I think I have fallen in love with you.." He turned back to the window. Jake and Sarah said, "Hey.. we are going to leave.. have a good night.." They exited the restaurant.

Carwen was quite happy to finish with her meal. She continued to work on it, when she heard the sound of rain. She perked up and looked over at the window, smiling. She leaned forward slightly, toward the window, and smiled warmly at the scene. Now, she laughed at the people rushing around, though she looked back over when she heard Jake talking to Sarah. She blinked a little at the scene and then looked over at him. “That would be wonderful Alex, thank you,” she answered softly, with a warm smile at him.
Her cheeks were still a little flushed and she smiled at the empty table. She shifted and looked over at Alex in surprise. She blushed at his words and looked over at Alex. She glanced over at the pair and waved. “Good night,” she replied.
She continued to look at Alex though. She hadn’t ever had a boyfriend and now this guy from the beach was saying he thought he fell in love with her. She hadn’t even heard those words from someone other then her mother. “I’m pretty cautious about that word,” she responded softly, though blushed while responding.
She suddenly leaned over and gave him a quick kiss on cheek.

He felt the kiss and said, "Thanks Carwen.." He forgot his umbrella and he waited for the waitress to give the check. He paid the whole thing and he gave 5 dollars tip. He saw it was raining cats and dogs. Luckily, his sunroof was closed. He unlocked the car and he opened the passenger door. He said, "Enter..madam.." He closed the door as she entered. He went to the driver seat and he started the engine and the stereo turned on. The song was Beautiful by Eminem..
He said, "Where do you live so I can drive there?" He had one hand on the wheel and one on her hand.

Carwen smiled at Alex and looked out at the rain. She looked a little surprised that he paid for everything and she smiled at him. As they went out side, she ran into the rain, spinning around slightly, the water twirling up from around her feet. She laughed brightly, getting soaked as she rushed over to the car after Alex and smiled at Alex before sitting down in the passenger seat. She blushed and looked over at Alex. “I’m getting your seats soaked,” she apologized.
She wondered if the songs somehow managed to correspond to how Alex felt and she looked over at the question. “2754 Oak Street,” she responded softly and looked out across the rain streaked world.
She still had a tinge of the blush, but not too much. “My full name is Carwen Jane Lewis,” she offered quietly.
