He remembered hearing about what Optimus said, but that didn't mean Chris shouldn't have at least a little merrymaking on his final night of being 17. And with everything that had been going on for the past week or so, he deserved some free time.

"You mean for my birthday?" Chris questioned, he thought for a moment before shrugging "I don't know. But I told Dad not to outdo himself or anything." He admitted calmly "He has enough things to do then to you know, go crazy over my birthday." He commented, doing a rather impressive 360 spin before drifiting. He had learned these moves from Street Racing. Movies of course, so he was surprised it worked in real life. .

"I'm sure he means well." He said admist the 360 spin. The tough maneuvers put a bit of strain on the tires, which only served as stretching out those areas of his body in robot mode. For him, the strenuous maneuvers that Chris was pulling served more as a sort of massage for him. Not to mention the feeling of air rushing through the radiator, which was a feeling in and of its own.

"Well of course he does. But I just mean.. Dad always was the kind of guy that given the chance, he'd do something big to make up for all the birthdays he wasn't around for." Chris began to explain himself, in an honest tone "I don't want him to do that while he should be dealing with the current attacks and all." He drove a bit faster then before relaxing "You get what I'm saying, don't you?"

"I'm sure once we give the Decepticons what for, he'll be able to settle in a bit and make up for them." he said. "But I can imagine that it'd stir some feelings. So let's hope this is the last time we have to deal with the Decepticons, so you and Prime can have some time together."

"I agree, completely." Chris nodded calmly, his mind drifted off for a moment. He highly doubted, as he thought of his visions, that thi would be the end of the war. In fact, he was positive that the war was far from over. If Unicron was around, chances were, the war had only just begun. "I hope so too... But I have the feeling it won't be."

"We'll just have to make sure to give 'em everything we've got." he said. "Steamroll right over them, fast and hard." he added. "And by the time this war's over, we'll have Megatron rusting at the bottom of every sea." Hammerfist added. He was confident that if they kept up the fight, they'd win.

"I'm sure we will..." Chris nodded in agreement, he didn't like to think of a family member dead. But Megatron was the one and only exception. Him and his Grandfather, Nemesis Prime were anyway. They needed to be destroyed, as they posed a threat to everyone. "To be honest, I just hope that after this whole current fiasco is over... I can have at least semi-normalcy in my life." He then added "You know, go to college and all.... Just be... Human for a while."

"I understand. I personally can't wait for the day this all is taken care of so I can at least visit Cybertron again...you know, speaking in line of the whole "Normalcy" issue." he said. "Like they say, Third time's a charm. If we drive Megatron back this time, he's more than likely bound to give it up." he added.
Sure, living a normal life was nothing like the restoration of one's home planet, but they both had a slightly similar feel. The feeling of wanting something one should be having, but being denied that very thing. No matter how long he spent on Earth, the experience could only be described as how the general populace would describe him.

"I'd like to go home again some time too." Chris replied, it was true, he was smiling a bit "I'd really like to bring Monica there... If it's ever rebuilt. She'd find it amazing." He then added smiling again "Plus I miss Iacon a lot. Even if I was only five when I had to leave."
He thought for a minute, still driving his brain wrapped around the thought of visiting Cybertron again. If it were the case that they would rebuild Cybertron, he would most likely go back for a while to help rebuild. "But it would be hard, without the Allspark I mean." He added.

"Rebuilding's gonna be easy, because we'll have the Allspark. Even if I have to pry it out of Megatron's cold, dead hands myself." he said with a sort of gruff enthusiasm. "I may not know your father personally, but I've seen him at his best. He gets a gleam in his optics, and behind those optics is a 'bot that gets things done." he added. "And I'll fight alongside him down to the very last one of us."

"But the Allspark was destroyed." Chris commented, blinking slightly, he shook it off though "Oh you mean getting a second one, right?" He then added "Could that... Could that really be done?" He asked curiously. He was wholely unaware unlike some of the Autobots that Nemesis and Megatron had a second Allspark already in their possesion.
"Yeah, my Dad's exactly what I hope to be when I grow up." Chris commented simply "Between you and me... I really want to be like he is. Though I have other interests like Basketball and acting." He then added "And above everything else... I just want to make him proud, I guess you could say."

"Anything is possible." he said to Chris. However, he was unsure if he should disclose any more information about Nemesis Prime and Megatron without Optimus's approval. "Of course there's been rumors about a second Allspark, and if they're true, we might be lucky enough to get to it before Megatron does." said Hammerfist. But in the event that he beats us to it...well...we'll just have to get it from him, even if it means taking the fight to his turf. Would be quite the spectacle to shame ol' Megatron on his home field." Hammerfist said with a chuckle.

"Yeah, that'd be a sight to see." Chris agree with a grin, he noticed it was getting slightly dark out, and that he should be getting back soon before his curfew. However, he decided a few more minutes wouldn't hurt too badly "Though I probably couldn't do much to help. I may want to be like my Dad eventually but that's a long way off." He then added "Made evident by the fact I nearly get killed every time a Decepticon attacks it seems like."

"Well, considering you ended up getting cornered by both the craziest and the biggest Decepticon, maybe save for that Blackout fellow, and got out with as few wounds you did, I'd call that a good run." said Hammerfist. "Personally, I'd want a go at Blackout, or Sgt. Gutsy, and this is based on just what I've heard, not that I've actually seen them in action."
