Out on the open road, a shiny black mustang with a dual scanner at the front of the hood zipped along about 85 mph, playing a techno-rave song called Absurd, by Fluke. The black mustang was searching for Autobots...on its own. No driver needed. This car was not originally an Autobot, but its abilities and defense mechanisms were so advanced it may as well be called one. After going through a final set of major upgrades, the mustang was considered one of them now. This mustang was known, by very few, as the Knight Industries Three Thousand. ((KITT likes raver music! Arcee drove along the open road for a long time with no one in her sights or sensers. Or that was until she saw a Black mustang going 85 mph on the highway. Well, thats awfully slow. she thought to herself and she speeded up to an easy 100 mph according to human speed terms and she sped past KITT in an instant when her sensors indicated a Cybertronian energy signature. Odd..... She got faster and faster to see if the mustang would persue her thinking she was an enemy.

KITT smirked inwardly at seeing the motorbike whizz past her. Damn two wheelers always thought they were so agile. It's loud motor buzzled by him obnoxiously as it sped past, going over 20 mph faster than him. KITT decided to take pursuit, accelerating to 100 mph in just a few seconds, internals in tip top condition. Gaining on Arcee, KITT accelerated a little more, accelerating to 115 mph, beginning to speed past Arcee. Letting the speed hang for just a few moments, KITT sped up some more, going to 125mph. A whirl of dust and wind trailed behind KITT.

Heh, so he thinks he can out run a turbofox eh? Arcee thought to herself as she watched him easily glide past her, in an instant Arcee activated her turbofoxes and sped past KITT at a speed of 250 mph in less than a milli-second. Arcee whizzed past KITT and laughed lightly as she left him in her trail of dust.

Well damn. That's pretty impressive. But I can top that! And that was with out going into attack mode! mustangs were quite good with speed, after all. KITT accelerated to 300 mph, gaining on Arce quickly once again, deciding to hold off on using his attack mode unless Arcee went even faster. Going well faster than her once again, KITT sped past her a second time.

Arcee watched him speed past and then was when she knew he was really good with speed. Maybe he had turbofoxes as well, she would never know. Activating her turbofoxes again Arcee toped KITT by going up to 500 mph in less than a minute and speeding past him with ease.

KITT was slightly stunned. What kind of motorcycle was she? The answer was simple, it was only because she was Autobot. She just went two hundred MPH faster than her. KITT's engine revved up, strong and agressive. "You think I can't top that, too? I've gone through a lot of upgrades over the years. Time for some turbo boost." KITT shifted gears and accelerated even more, rapidly screaming beyond 400 miles per hour. His nanoskin naturally adjusted itself to make him more streamlined by a small percentage as he accelerated. The small percentage helped him out trememendously. His techno song proceeded to play as he activated turbo boost. The huge amount of thrust gained from this classic jump was so powerful bluish energy rocketed out from behind him, pushing him along. This was quite fun.
KITT went above and beyond 500 mph. If she can't top that, I'm quite impressed. But no one can beat my speed. I still haven't gone into attack mode...

Arcee watched him glide past her and she was quite frankly impressed, as far as she knew no human vehicle was able to surpass or even match up to her speed. "Impressive." she mumbled aloud, actually hoping that the car would hear her and maybe give her a response. She revved her engines for a moment and then using her turbofoxes again immediately went to an amazing speed of 600 mph, surpassing KITT within seconds.
"Lets see ya beet that." Arcee challenged.

KITT never doubted his speed. KITT changed the song in his loud stereo to Speed by Billy Idol.
"Speed, gimme what I need..."
"Done." KITT transformed into attack mode and rapidly accelerated another 200 mph. He initiated turbo boost and kept it increasing for several seconds so he could top her challenge to 630. At this point, however, KITT was unsure if he could go much faster. Even his aerial attack mode might not be able to go much faster because he feared the blades would stall...

Arcee watched his transformation in awe as he passed her, she was amazed. Man if this guy is an Autobot he is one kick-aft Autobot! She thought to herself, "But never the less, he can't top a turbofoxes speed." She immiediately focused on the road and made sure she was paying attention to her curve and every little detail, the slightest thing could cause her to trip and severely hurt herself. She used her turbofoxes to push her speed to the fastest she had ever gone on this human planet which was her 700 mph, once again passing KITT with ease.

KITT was determined to go faster. He was having too much fun anyway! KITT accelerated, using raw power, partly sucking up a bunch of solar energy to help him along. His nanoskin streamlined itself even more, and more invisible wake vortecies began to develop around his form, as low pressure areas began to be produced around the more streamlined parts of his form. The mustang seemed a lot less...bulky than it usually did.
In a matter of seconds, KITT approached the same curve Arcee was on, and angled into it as carefully as he could, his tires screaming at him to lift his form off the ground. His helicopter mode was capable of going to transonic speeds, but not necessarily sonic. His aerial attack mode was capable of, currently, around mach 1.3 or so. His car form was also capable of this. This was just a theory though. He'd never pushed the limits on his form this far. They were basically going that speed already by a few decimal places!
KITT was also concerned about the same risks Arcee faced. But he angled it just right, and carried it out, shifting into a slightly lower gear. He achieved just a bit beyond 700, meeting up with Arcee. "How much more can YOU take?"

Arcee watched as KITT sped up right to her, she was very impressed but going this fast on these kind of roads was too dangerous for herself because of her small size, wrecking at this speed would really seriously damage herself. And as for this guy he was a lot bigger there fore he wouldn't have as much damage as she would. She de-accelerated back down to a very low speed of 100 mph and yelled at KITT and he sped faster "If I go any faster I'll wreck myself and get my spark pulled out by Prime for acting stupid!"

While KITT could have kept going since his form was more stable and sturdier, KITT decelerated as well, and remained next to her.
"Your speed is most impressive." KITT mused. "But yes, he would be very...disgruntled, at the least." he said. "What's your name, Autobot? I am the Knight Industries Three Thousand. You may call me KITT."

Arcee came to a full stop, she stopped in the middle of the road and transformed into her robot mode. Revealing herself so openly to this other Autobot wasn't that bad besides, where they were no one else was around. "I'm Arcee, I am pleased to meet you KITT. I must say you are the first one on this planet that has been able to match and outrun my turbofoxes therefore I am impressed."

KITT stopped as well, but the process took a biiit more effort than it did for Arcee. He transformed into his Autobot form. His form was all black, and a couple feet taller than Arcee's black and pink form. The double red slights that had been on the front of his nose now covered most of his face like weird sunglasses, where his optics should be hidden underneath somewhere-yet they could not be seen.
"A pleasure to meet you too.Believe it or not, these humans have made aircraft that can go much faster than you or I. Well above Mach 1.3 As of late, some of my forms are only able to reach Transonic speeds. These humands have a need for speed. I don't think I could match speeds against an F22...." KITT said as he held out a hand for her to shake.
