Articfang would normally be using her time to take up patrols or just keeping on guard for a Decepticon attack never once considering to just take a break. Well up until this week. She had finally almost nearly overworked herself earlier that day but after enarly collasping she decided to take the week off. Luckily it wanst all tha tbad. The lioness sat otuside staring up at the stars looking for any constelations that were familiar.
SO far there was a few she knew but there was some ways she had to turn to try and find the right constelation she wa slooking for. All the while she became lost in the star gazing she became for once completely relaxed. But there was also other things on the lioness' mind as she finally turne dher gaze away.
She glanced back towards the hanger as she thought almost as if she was looking for someone.

Josh had recently been brought to NEST. He was still in his ragged clothes, and had yet to get a new set. Mudflap was nearby in the building keeping an eye on him. Even though he was wearing his old black hooded sweatshirt and some jeans, he shivered. It always got colder at night. Faint radiation fog could be seen hovering above the ground in someplace, and as he stood there in the hangar wondering what to check out first, he noticed a very large lioness mech sitting in the front out on the tarmac. Some mist rising from his breath as the warm air mixed with the cool, he exhaled a bit sharply, trying to collect his courage as he examined the beauty and demeanor of the huge mech. It was the biggest he'd seen in his entire life. Additionally, he hadn't met that many other than Mudflap, but he had seen them fight or walk around from afar just because he was so used to being outside all the time.
Good grief, he smelled awful. He was sure the cat had a strong sense of smell like any Earth-bound feline.
"Dang chilly out..."he muttered rather audibly as he walked outside slowly, tucking his hands in his hoody and walked around the right side of Articfang, keeping his distance by just a couple yards so he wouldn't startle her. He eyed her tail, wary of it possibly lashing out on accident. Scooting by its perimeters, he kept walking until he got a bit closer to her face."Um...hi...who are you?"he greeted, glancing over at Articfang nervously. He felt strange just randomly trying to interact with one of these large bots for a change...He wasn't sure what else he'd say to her when she replied but eh, might as well give it a shot. The young teen gulped a bit nervous. Knowing cats and their fickle mood, he hoped he wouldn't be an annoyance to her.
(sorry i didn't make him say more than that, i didn't really think he'd say that much right off the bat. He's a bit of a rambler if you get him going though xD.)

audioa's twitching slightly at the sound of someone approaching Articfang turned her ehad and looked down watching as a teenger approached her but seemed to be keeping his distance. She could smell him from where she sat but ignored the smell, use to things much worse. "Hello to you too, and I'm Articfang." She replied looking at Josh curiously. He didn't seem too intimidaed if at all, but she was glad he wasn't looking scared since that's the first reaction the humans always had when they saw her. "OCld night isn't it." She said just trying to make conversation.

"Yea, but I'm kinda used ta it. Nice ta meet ya."he replied, glancing up at the sky, then back at her, still having trouble grasping the concept of just how big this animal mech was. He never liked looking at people or beings this long, and he felt kind of weird doing so to a stranger like this feline, and so he was quite inclined to apologize. He really wanted to shape up his personality but the chains of fears that held him down on a day to basis didn't help him get enough drive to destroy some of them.
"Er, sorry if I seem to keep staring and it's bothering ya...I'll try to stop. I just haven't seen a mech your size in God knows how long...maybe ever. Pardon the smell too. I haven't had access to a shower in uh...a while." Josh had seen a few from afar on the streets in safety, but never as close as he was now, let alone interacting with one other than Mudflap, who was quite small for his kind apparently. He kicked at the ground with the fore part of his toes, glancing back at the lioness.
Once again, he glanced at the fairly clear night sky. The young teen didn't really have else to go, and he hoped the feline mech wouldn't mind. He just didn't want to be near Mudflap but he also hoped no one would kick him out for a while. Sure he wanted new clothes and definitely would appreciate a shower, but those were just simple secondary things he needed to feel better. Regardless, he was pretty darn tired of smelling so bad. He sighed mentally, wishing that someday he could just find a home that actually wanted him with out him pushing or being the second best option...
Josh caught sight of a shooting star."Hey, a shooting star...heh. I gave up on wishing on those a long ass time ago..."he added, trying to keep some kind of interaction going. Standing here next to a mech as big as Articfang made him realize just how empty he was...

Articfang shurgged looking at he sky for a moment before back down at Josh. He seemed a little shy maybe. "I do not mind it's much more different then humans running away thinking I'm going to chew on their bones...honestly wha tpeople will beleive. As for the smell ti is not a bother, there are much mroe worse smells." Articfang said, flicking her tail alittle. It was not weird for ehr to be intereacting wiht a human but for a simple conversation it was a bit. She watched the stars sighing, mist showing ehr breathe ebfore ti disappeared into the firigid night.
When Josh pointed out the shooting star Articfang nodded,"I've never wishe don one ebfore. The human superstition never really was a big thing for me and still isn't but I guess we can all hope. It's sometimes all we can do for a dream to come true." Articfang said looking down at Josh. She watched him for a long moment and judgign by his appreance was possibly one of those 'streat urchins' as they were called.
"We seem to share one thign in common however Josh, the fact both of us do nto have families or anyone really in the world to care about." She said.

"Yeah...I guess dat's a good thing. And there ain't more out there like us, that's for sho."Josh said with a sigh, staring ahead for a bit in thought as he added a thing or two."Well, maybe someday I won't be completely alone. I'm tired of runnin and hidin. Puttin up such a fight benefits ya only so much after a while. I think want a change. But how I'm gonna do dat, I dunno, especially if I can't stay here..."he glanced back up at the feline bot, hoping he didn't sound like he was implying he really wanted to stay, but gloomily thought he was whether he denied it or not. Don't go pouting to some big cat...that's just pathetic dude.Josh thought, mentally kicking himself irritably."I mean I don't want to beg on you, but I will not deny that dis place is better dan most of the shit holes I've seen and I dun mean just because NEST houses a bunch of kick ass lookin bots of all types..."
