"Oh! Den we can go ta Sonic. Dey're one step above typical fast food places. Dey got drive in stations. Dunno if ya've ever seen one, but I'm sure ya have at some point."Sonic was one of the few places Mudflap had tried himself with his holo-form. He liked a lot of what Sonic had, especially the slushies and cheese hot dogs, along with some of their chili dishes and other sandwiches. Needless to say, with all the cruising and 'getting lost' Mudflap experienced, it was definitely not a waste of time and actually did have an advantage to it."It's good enough I think I'ma get some stuff mahself. Ya can get chili on some of da stuff if I remember right..."he said as he entered a freeway and stayed on it for a few intersections, scanning for the exit he would need to get to the nearest Sonic.

"Yeah I think I once went through the tra-. Er, I mean I think my Dad and I ate their once." Justin didn't feel right telling Mudflap he once ate things out of the garbage from it. He wasn't sure Mudflap would approve nor want to know. "It's pretty good, so it sounds fine to me!" He added.

"Tra? Uh okay. Dat makes sense. I only discovered human food cause bein around humans for a while and such...eventually got curious."Mudflap replied. He wondered what made Justin cut off his initial sentence like that, but he didn't bother prying. He didn't want to risk giving the kid stress by getting some deep questions answered out of him. A few minutes later, he approached the exit needed and slowed down a bit to turn off, careful of any ice since it was still fairly cold out even during the day. "Almost 'dere."he added cheerily as he exited. He took a right turn and headed down the main street and started scanning for the Sonic. "I tink it's a couple intersections down."
Mudflap looked forward to visiting Sonic. He happened to like a fair bit of their food even though he didn't eat "organic" foods that much. He slowed down and entered the right most lane after passing another intersection. Turning off a few yards after it, he pulled into one of the stations at the small building. It had parking spaces on both sides-with the usual but original layout that most Sonic 'restaurants' used.

"Just forget the 'tra' comment. I did some stuff on the streets when I was desperate for food I'm not proud of. Let's leave it at that." Justin listened and nodded at what he appeared to be saying afterwards, watching out the window. He sighed, he couldn't wait to have a real for the first time in a month. Quite simply, though he didn't blatently state it, Justin was starving. When they drove in he smiled. "Yeah I know I have deffinently been here." He added.

"Goody, the grub's on me."Mudflap took his order, ordering two large hot dogs for himself along with a large slushie. The lot was pretty quiet, and Mudflap figured the delivery would be fairly expeditious, which he liked. He didn't like long waits. It got him impatient and jumpy. "Man I don't tink I've been here for a while...his holoform said quietly, leaning against the driver's window as he waited for Justin to make his part of the order.

"I haven't been here since I was a little kid now that I think about it." Justin thought for a moment, then looked at Mudflap thinking for a moment. Then spoke calmly. "Well a younger kid then I am now anyway." He added, shaking his head and shrugging "Or at least I think so, I've never been good at remembering this stuff." He added. Though that had been when he was was really eating and not digging through stuff.

"Yer life goes by in a blur sometimes. It's all good."Mudflap replied. He sat back, crossing his heels and folding his arms as he waited for the food, the music on his stereo playing quietly at a fairly low non-obnoxious volume. A few minutes later, his order arrived. Two large foot long hot dogs and a large slushie. "Any last minute orders before we send da waitress away? Anything ta drink?"he inquired, glancing between the fairly pretty brunette waitress and Justin.

Justin had to stop himself from drooling at the sight of the foot-long hot dogs. He didn't know what to say, that was the most food he had seen in a long time. And the more he was here, the more he couldn't be more thankful that he had been caught by Mudflap the day before. He smiled a bit then thought as he took his hot dog. "I'll just have a large coke please." He said calmly to the waitress, the took a bit of the hot dog, unable to hold back his hunger anymore "Oh man that's good." He told Mudflap.

"The spice of human life. Versatile food."Mudflap agreed, munching on some of his cheese and chili hot dog. "I forgot mah sides..."he realized and opened a package of ketchup and mustard, putting it on the hotdog after a bite or two."Just as good with out but even better with."he stirred the lemon slushie and took a long drink from it. The shaved ice in such fine pieces was a nice touch indeed. "I love da simple things in life!"he declared."Though I'd probably reap the full benefits were I an actual human ya know? Den again eating enough of dese would get me a bit chubby..."he chuckled between bites.

Justin giggled at what Mudflap told him, he understood what he was saying perfectly. He sighed, and looked down then over at Mudflap, having gotten through about half his hot dog already. He thought it over for a minute. "Yeah, I guess that's true, you eat too much you get chubby. Personally I need to gain some weight." Justin was of course, skinny, being on the streets did that to you. "I'm a fan of the simple things in life as well." He added. After a few more bites he had scarffed it down completely.

"Yah, ya don't have to worry about dat kinda thing-you need everythin you can get."Mudflap was almost finished with his-he was being slow about it because first off he was enjoying the taste,and secondly the chili cheese hot dog was fairly messy. Once finished, he had another long drink before he considered himself ready to leave. Engine beginning to rumble slightly. "Well I'm ready ta head back when you are."he said.

"Yeah, and luckily now I don't have to steal for it." Justin sighed, he had never been happy with how he had to steal to eat, but he had had no choice. He never stole unless he needed to for that EXACT reason, he hated stealing, and he felt like a hypocrite for stealing and therefore only stole when he was starving or borderline starving. "I'm pretty much all set to go home now, so yeah, whenever you're ready."

"Aight dude."Mudflap took his time finishing the last large bites of the chili cheese dog and then backed out of the fast food joint, rolling casually, keeping the exact until he got onto the main road. Once on the main road that would take him back to the exit, he picked up the pace. Mike, the name of his holo-form, was still finishing his shaved ice lemon slushy as he drove, playing some hip hop music quietly to help pass the time, enjoying the taste of the drink. He scratched his dirty blond hair, and kept his hazel eyes on the road. He was definitely glad there was one less kid stealing food out there in desperate times...
Driving along, they got back to the base rather efficiently and were cleared through with zero trouble. "Sooo ready for some hoops lil homie?"he asked as he rolled into the hangar and headed towards the rec room. Once there, he slowed to a stop and opened the passenger door for Justin so he could transform.

Justin bounced out of his car form quickly, happy a bit. He was throughly excited to learn how to play. He had always wanted to but never gotten the chance to. He smiled lightly, looking over at Mudflap and nodded a bit. "I'm ready to play if you're ready to teach me, I really appreciate it Dad." He added, then looked around the room "Wow this place is huge!" he said in amazement.

"Yea man, dey make it big enough fer bots, so dis court will feel even bigger to ya. But it aint dat bad. I can go easy on ya of course. We can just start out tryin ta block out each others shots. Using my holo-form. Wouldn't be fair usin mah bot form obviously."he replied with a chuckle, his holoform appearing with with a basket ball. "First, in mah honest opinion, before ya start shootin da hoops ya gotta be able ta dribble like yer just runnin. Dribblin is important because you can't hold da ball while ya move. If ya've heard of it before it won't be hard for ya ta understand why."
Mike, the young man in the orange hoody and black pants with gym sneakers started dribbling the ball, running around his form with out pausing. "It takes a bit a hand-eye coordination skizzles but when ya get it down, transitioning while dribbling becomes second nature."as a demonstration, his holoform began to dribble the ball while at a decent jogging pace, zig-zagging towards the hoop against an imaginary player, then in nearly a single fluid motion (with out pausing much), he aimed for one of the human-sized goals and scored, the ball going in with out touching the rims. Mike then flickered over to retrieve the ball after it bounced once.
