Twister temporarily retracted her landing gear-which were currently skids because she preferred them."Sure. We could possibly even find a place to land for a bit."Twister replied, keeping a steady climb rate and speed until they got closer to the mountains. There was little turbulence, all though as they got closer to the mountains, some mountain wave turbulence spanned out quite a few nautical miles from the mountains. In extreme conditions, these waves could go several more miles than one might originally imagine.
Jade was peering calmly out the other window to the right, eying the mountains. They looked far better up here. Both Twister and Jade were careful to look out for traffic, but few general aviation aircraft were transitioning over this area right now. "Fresno traffic, helicopter Beta Oscar Tango-754-Niner-Charlie is from the southwest towards the mountains, transitioning to the south at one thousand, five hundred feet, Fresno."she made a quick open-frequency (aka Common Air Traffic Advisory Frequency, CTAF) radio call and continued along, looking out for other aircraft. "Did you just make up a tail number?"Jade asked.
"Actually I lied-helicopters have to add BOT for their suffix instead along with the rest of the tail number so they don't get it mixed up with a registered human aircraft that might have the same number."Twister proceeded to fly a bit lower over the mountain ridges, and began to scan the peaks for any possible helicopter-sized tops that might be smoothed off. "Hm, any smooth, flat areas...not that many around here from the looks of it Twister."Twister continued on, and eventually found one flat enough. The peak was a bit lower than the others, but a bit smoother like a slightly jagged, large hill-supported by other mountains behind it and to the front and behind them.
"We can find something, even if it's a slope. Hm...we'll try a few seconds more up ahead..."Twister said, seeing some less steep peaks and hills towards that area. She descended a bit to the left of the main line of mountain peaks, away from the main valley towards the smoother, large hills that were very close the mountains. Twister didn't descend too far before she picked her spot first that was up ahead at about 11 o'clock.
The bot circled over the area to check for the winds, along with determining the best way in and the way out. Jade noticed the grasses and trees farther out were swaying to the left, diagonally from them when they were in a one-oclock position from the way they'd just entered. Twister completed another circle and made a far more direct approach almost from the west, and made a steady yet somewhat steep descent in, managing the power as she went. When she got closer to the ground, she began to reduce the amount of power used only so they wouldn't settle quickly in their own lift towards their desired location.
She was aiming beyond some larger trees and shrubs, aiming for a fairly grassy but slightly slanted area that was now about a quarter of a mile away from them. They sunk at a 500 feet descent rate until they got closer to the trees. When the trees in front of them and to the side slipped under and/or to their eye level, Twister decreased the power some, but kept straight and level, nosing forward ever so slightly to keep in the speed so they wouldn't balloon and loose the progress they made on their descent, or get thrown around by mountain wave turbulence. When they got closer to this point, Twister shifted her current landing gear down ward as she descended.
Twister made a slope landing, settling her left skid INTO the hill first, and then reactivated her skids. There was a faint whirring sound as they were extended from the underside of her fuselage again when she was about five feet off the ground. The left skid touched down first, and then as she continued to lower the collective that was at Jade's left side (and also Leslie's), the other skid eventually settled into the ground, rocking them slightly. The slope was a bit steep, but her form was definitely capable of staying here. She drifted, barely moving above the ground a bit to test this, and then completely lowered the collective, and in a second or so later, her form was firmly on the ground. The cylic between their knees moved to the right slightly to straighten out the rotors, and then after another second just to be sure the wind didn't knock her around, she powered down, decreasing the throttle output, and thus decreased the RPM.
When she finsihed going to idle, Jade hopped out of her form as Twister opened up the doors, and wouldn't transform until Leslie was out as well of course. "Sweetness!" It was a fair bit colder up here of course, but the area was very nice, and they got a good look at the city of Fresno and the towns surrounding it from here. Jade looked around, and after a few moments, she turned to fae that way, a small, calm smile forming on her face.

Leslie watched in amazement as the world passed by her. Flying in a helicopter gave her a sense of openness opposed to how she felt more cramped up in a airplane. She was already enjoying the ride and she had only been there a couple of minutes. She was about to look over towards the trees to her left when she heard Twister's voice. She listened and it was a CTAF, something that almost every pilot has to do. She recognized it mainly because her father had said a CTAF in front of her many times. She listened as Jade questioned if she made up a fake tail number, but TWister told her she just lied. She laughed under her breathe, but it was more of a chuckle. Leslie returned her gaze to the window to her left. She looked around for a flat area that Twister could land on, but apparently she had found her own flat area. She watched as the ground did the exact opposite of when they took off, it got closer and closer to her and when she felt her skid go into the hill she was a little bit nervous hoping that the slight slant to the hill wasn't going to be difficult for her. But then again what was she saying? This was a professional driver from beyond the stars...She waited until Jade hopped out of Twister before unbuckling her own seat belt and following her. She looked at the city of Fresno and across the trees and hills in amazement. She had seen some beautiful country before but never before like this. Leslie was standing right next to Jade and when she peeked over to see Jade's comforting smile she couldn't help but look out again and speak. "Beautiful.....isn't it?

"Yeah!"Jade replied happily, looking around from her current spot a bit longer, before moving a bit closer to the steepest part of the small mountain/steep hill and went to tree to climb it, but didnt get very far up becaue the limbs were feeble.
Twister sat on the grassy part of the clearing indian-style, looking around before falling onto her back for a bit, listening to the wind moving over the area. She peered over at Jade, who began to climb the tree again, running up to a taller branch, managing to hold onto it this time and swing herself up, remembering some things Melissa and Cira taught her. Twister saw a line of clouds moving in to her right, but they had plenty of time to leave, and even then it didn't matter too much.
(sorry for the crap post, i has a mega headache)

Leslie laughed a smalll laugh as she watched Jade go for a random tree and try to climb it and kinda failed when she fell down. She tried to keep it quiet but couldn't and squeaked out a laugh that was probably loud enough for Twister and Jade to hear. She looked back at Twister who was now in robot mode again and sitting on the side of the hill. She was surprised at how peaceful Twister was for such a huge alien robot. She watched as she laid back in the grass. She looked like she was just taking in the beauty of nature like a normal human. "I-If you don't mind me asking.....Why are you here on Earth Twister." She hated to bring up such a subject like that in this peaceful place but it was itching at her every since she had met Twister. She also noticed that Jade was now actually climbing the tree, however her attention focused back to Twister as she awaited a answer to her question.

"Nah, I don't mind..."Twister paused a bit in attempt to consider the top reasons for coming to Earth, crossing her legs as she laid back on the grass for now, crossing her hands behind her head in a casual manner. "First off, there has been a war going on and off with the Decepticons and Autobots. I wasn't here for the beginning of it when the Allspark was found here, but because of the Cons visiting Earth to search for it, the Autobots had to stop them before they got their hands on it. The problem was solved thanks to the help of a human named Sam Witwicky, but a shard or two still remains, and there are a new...breed of humans among you now, which also need to be protected.
I am a former soldier of the Decepticons known as the Combaticons. An Ex friend of mine has been on Earth for a while. I'm not only here to help fight off the Cons because I consider them a nemesis now, but I'm also here to keep tabs on this ex friend...and give him some hell should we fight, which we have once or twice already..." she explained, her tone fairly smug with those words about her 'ex friend'."Does that answer your question, miss? Judging by your initial reaction to my general existance, I assume you have no clue what the Autobots and Decepticons are, unlike Jade, who was actually raised by the Decpeticons, but then betrayed them."
"The more I think about it, the more our pasts are similar, Twisty." Jade said as she jumped down from the tree to walk over to the black, somewhat small bot."Life with the Cons sucked majorly...I was always treated like a lowlife, except by Melissa, only she seemed to pity me somewhat..."As far as Jade was concerned, she viewed herself as a failure, Recoil's disappointment. She wasn't going to reflect on that again unless Leslie really wanted to know...Jade sat cross legged for a bit, facing Leslie from across Twister over the bot's head.
"Aye. I wasn't exactly treated like crap though...but me and Jade's views ended up being the same...what the Cons are doing isn't right. We want to seek better reasons for living, and a new stand in the war which we wont regret in the long run. I was one of those Decepticons who began to question everything...which was one of the key reasons that convinced me to leave them..."

Leslie was shocked at what she had heard. So there were good aliens and bad aliens. ”So....an autobot is good....and decepticons are bad? She asked hesitantly. She wasn’t completely sure if that was right or not but she listened on as Jade spoke about her past with the Decepticons and the Cons sounded like a group she honestly did not want to get involved with. Sometimes she wished she could keep her mouth shut because it seemed that Jade didn’t want to talk about her past so Leslie decided against asking her what her past was like. ”Well.....why have the autobots and decepticons come to earth? She figured the both of them could answer this question since both of them had a past with the Decepticons and might know what they were really after on earth. But now the question rolling around inside her head is why hasn’t she heard of this from the news? Is the aliens presence on Earth a government cover up like all the other alien sightings? (yes XD She has the same ideals that Leo had)

"Yes, the Autobots are good, and the Decepticons are evil. If there are any neutrals out there, they either don't last long or theyre transitioning..."Twister replied. She took a few moments to think about how she wanted to word her answer. "Like I mentioned earlier, it used to be because of the AllSpark. The AllSpark is one of our key power sources which both factions seek. However, there is an even more rare object of interest called the Matrix of Leadership. Earlier on, some human here on Earth also found the matrix of leadership somewhere in Egypt called the Tomb of Primes. I've never been there myself, but I heard the entrance to the tomb was made of some corpses of last few Autobot Primes. The Matrix itself harness pure energy which many of us know absolutely nothing about, like me. The Decepticons main interest is this last shard from this Matrix, most of which was used to revive the Leader of the Optimus a little over a decade ago."she said. "This has all been passed down to me, I've only been here a couple years. That would be at least five or six years after all that happened. Additionally, I think the Cons have other motives now that they've been on Earth longer. Megatron, the leader of the Decepticons, has some pretty sick plans. But even he only tells us so much. I was a soldier, and most often I had no freedom to question the bigger scheme of things. I'm really not sure where he's going with all this..."she quieted down slightly, glancing up at the sky again. Twister was pretty sure there was nothing else left to summarize for now.

(sorry its a lame post sissy >.< ) Leslie was astonished at the history of the Autobots and the Decepticons. The AllSpark, the Matrix of Leadership? Why hadn't she heard of any of this on the news, internet anywhere? This absolutely had to be some kind of government cover-up and she wanted in on it, but it almost seemed irrelevant as she spoke about some humans being able to bring one of the autobots back to life using the Matrix. So the Matrix was something really special that the Decepticons must not get a hold of. "This Matrix seems to be very important to you guys even though you don't know everything it does. She couldn't help but mutter hoping that Twister didn't hear her because she was really just re-stating what she had said making sure it was clear in her mind. "So right now....the Decepticons are after the Matrix....but what will they use it for?

"Actually, not many of us really understand the extent of its power. It's something I never really stuck around to look into. I've got all the power I need, I could honestly care less about a shard. But yes, it is very important to Cybertronians."Twister replied, watching the clouds calmly. A gentle, moist gust whispered from the southwest of their position. It was so gentle it may go unnoticed to some, but Twister could feel the changes on her armor-her senses to weather and everything around her were as keen as a wolf's. "We may have to go soon, things are changing to the southwest of here..."
Jade picked at the grass, not really having much to talk about right now."All right...No one really told me about the Matrix. I did nothing but training. I was clearly out of the loop."she shrugged."I'm just thankful to have survived. They could have easily killed me as soon as they realized I was a failure to meeting their greater needs."

Leslie was amazed that the Cybertronians know of the Matrix, but not the extent of what it could do. She felt the light breeze move some of her hair which tickled her neck. The second Twister said things were changing to the southwest she looked in that direction and sure enough she saw some building cumulus clouds in the distance. “It appears that you guys are able to do everything inhumanly possible.” She noted just before looking over to Jade and hearing her comment about how she didn’t know much about the Matrix and she was glad that she was even able to make it out alive. Leslie wanted to ask Jade what she meant, but she figured it would be nicer to leave her past unknown for the time until Jade saw it fit to tell her. She carefully sat down in the soft grass on the mountain top just in front of Twister. She sighed at how peaceful the mountains were despite the unknown turmoil happening all around with the alien robots.

Jade leaned back on one side of Twister. Seeing them sitting there it would seem they were quite good friends. Not exactly with the same kind of partnership that Sam and Bumblee had. They both seemed very calm and in tune with their lives. "Not inhumanly possible. Any human can survive the barriers of this industrial world."
"The way I look at it is pretty simple. I train with the concept that everything is against you. When it's them versus me, I always choose me."Jade replied, standing up and walking a bit closer to Leslie, near one of Twister's legs. "I lived by that concept daily when I was a Combaticon. It's why I'm still here..."the heli said with a light smirk on her face though none of them could see it from where they were sitting or standing.
"I had to because of the way I grew up. So once again we have similar reasons..."Jade said to Twister while looking at the view Leslie was gazing towards. There was much Jade still didn't know about herself, but she was on a life mission to uncover it all. She knew all the answers were with in her. All she had to do was seek them. Jade stretched a sore back muscle, one probably emerging from her daily training, and leaned to the right. "Dang muscles keep shifting..."she muttered in a whining tone.

Leslie listened to Jade and Twister share a nice conversation about their past. It seemed that back when they were with the Decepticons they literally had to fight for their lives each waking second. Something that she would never be able to do. She felt bad for them because of that fact. Leslie had grown up in a life of luxury and never really had to fight for her life every second. “You guys are obviously very strong...I would never be able to do that... She said quietly. The last sentence was really directed towards herself as she recollected the day that her mother was killed when she was young and she wasn’t strong nor brave enough to do anything to help her mother. She looked to Jade as she slightly complained about her aching muscle. “Too much working out? She asked curiously.

Jade stretched to the left, helping give the muscle more room to stretch out. She felt the blood flow a little faster in that area even if the feeling was very light and hard to notice. "Somewhat-it's not overworked. It's a good sore. My muscles are trying to expand and regenerate/strengthen the weaker areas. It's a slow process but it'll happen to you a lot the more active you are. Sometimes the muscles start acting up in strange places, but you can usually always work out the kinks as long as there are no blockages. It's sometimes hard to adjust to, but I've always longed to be as strong as possible..."she replied, glancing over at the blond girl as she stretched a bit more, feeling a bit better when she straightened herself out again.
Meanwhile Twister was very still, clearly enjoying the peace of the mountain side as another gust of mountain winds rippled down the jagged slope.

“Ah... Leslie commented as Jade finished talking about how her muscle spasms come at random. “I don’t get a ton of exercise. I do hang out outside, but I don’t have a regular work out schedule....Then again I never needed one because I don’t eat a lot at anytime of the day. Leslie wasn’t worried in the least bit about becoming overweight because she knew that her father would push her out the door and start making her walk with him every evening. “I always strive to be as strong as I can, but when you go to a private school with a bunch of bullies and douche bags, its hard to stand up for yourself. She remembered one day that a popular girl told her she would never amount to anything in life if she didn’t have any friends. The memory made Leslie frown slightly because she half believed what the girl said, but knew that if she became a pilot as good as her father then she would amount to something and could prove that girl wrong.

"No matter what the rules, if they ever try to hurt you, hurt them back, I'd say."Jade replied with a scoff, remembering how much fun Melissa had torturing her. "They deserve it. After a while I got tired of them doing that same kind of thing to me. At the point I snapped, they learned not to mess with me. Once I started changing, just a simple glare would intimidate them,"she replied, glaring at the ground. "Never doubt yourself short of anything."
