Jade had been at NEST for barely a week. Having recently shopped on base for some new clothes and accessories, Jade was beginning to feel more at home rather than just a prisoner...of sorts. She wasn't really a prisoner anymore, as those at the base were beginning to learn of her past and that she was not initially sent here by choice. Memories of her mission which she practically had to run on her own (if you don't count Ravage) flashed through her mind as she jogged on a tread mill in the rec room. She wore lose, black work out pants that had green stripes, and a black, fairly loose t-shirt. Her hair was tied up in a pony tail, as it often was when she was active.
Jade worked out daily by pure habit and passion because since she'd started her training with the Decepticons, cardiovascular endurance was important. Cira's fitness, one of the NEST members that discovered her, proved that you didn't have to be part or whole transformer to do damage in any given fight or escape. Jade had been holding her own against her until others came into the picture. She'd nearly broken her arm from one of Cira's traps, and sometimes it still hurt to rotate her right elbow. But she'd get over that, and it didn't stop her daily routine.
Exhaling steadily, she moved a little faster on the tread mill, pressing the accelerate and incline button up a couple notches, just barely starting to work a sweat. The song Running on a Treadmill by Oingo Boingo was playing in her headphones, the play list set to random. Jade had been on here for at least an hour and due to thinking back on what happened, she wasn't really paying attention to the time and wasn't that tired-though it was probably smart to take a break soon. Instead, she got another burst of energy and took a swig from her water jug to her right, and kept going, exhaling sharply only briefly.
After putting aside some of her memories, all in all, Jade knew she was glad to have the chance to be free.
