The bright afternoon sun rays generated a substantial amount of heat on the rubbery tarmac as KARR approached the East side of the base, gradually radiating near invisible columns of mini thermals that rose into the air and hovered over a certain height like smog. The Mustang rolled to a stop beyond the primary tarmac to a few of the hangars to one side of the main building. One of them was his. Opening his passenger door, he waited for Adam to wake up and get out. His holoform went to the Mustang's trunk and got out the weapons, keeping them in his arms. "Wakey wakey, we're here."

Adam woke up with a bit of a start. It had been surprisingly comfortable to sleep in KARR and surprisingly his sleep had not been disturbed once. He yawned slightly, stretching and got out of the car calmly. "It felt good to nap." He murmured, getting out and looking around "You guys use an old Air Forc Base for an HQ? That's awesome." The comment was honest, he always thought those kinds of bases were cool, in all honesty.
He fidgeted in his clothing, which could barely be considered rags now, feeling a bit uncomfortable. They were covered in dirt and particles of the 'food' that they had served. His pants were ripped and his shirt half torn. Adam realized he hadn't even asked if he'd get something clean to wear, but he guess he'd soon find out.

KARR's real form and his holoform moved towards the door as he carried the weapon."Yeah it's pretty snazzy."KARR agreed."And no, we did not invade it. It was already inactive after two branches in the area merged to one base." Taking one hand and resting the boxes on his left knee a bit, KARR punched in a random code and activated the hangar door opener. The large hangar door opened, and both forms walked/rolled in as soon as his height was covered, moving towards the storage space area to the right. Its secondary walls stuck out a bit, but otherwise, the unit was a walk-in type feature.
His holo-form opened the storage unit door, setting the boxes down to the nearest right wall before glancing around to check on the room's condition. There was a pet type bed in the center of the floor meant for a large dog with a sleeping bag, but KARR moved towards the back of the unit, which looked like it had no maintenance done on it, and pulled out a thin mattress."Got this only a few nights ago, but it might be a little dusty."Pulling it to its side, KARR pushed the bed into the corner a foot or two away from the compartment.

Adam looked the bed over, it actually wasn't all too bad. It was covered with tan sheets, even on a pillow, and a brown blanket lay over it as well. It was small, but as Adam sat on it, it was actually comfortable. Though dusty, Adam supposed it was better then sleeping on the dog bed he had seen. "It's very comfortable, and it isn't that dusty. Thanks." He felt the need to at least thank him. He'd been kind to him after all by even giving him such a bed.
He looked around, nothing about his clothing had been brought up and he felt the need to ask. After all walking around like this, when winter rolled around he'd likely catch a lot of colds. "Any chance you have spare clothing?" He asked, indicating the remains of the clothing "As you can tell I could use a change of clothing." He added.

KARR nodded. "Yes, we do have some stuff around here. Mostly old uniform parts."he shrugged slightly and turned towards the compartment he'd pulled out the bed from. Inside there was an array of miscellaneous clothing in a dresser. Since keeping Chris here, he'd taken the time to look around a bit and take out stuff that was no good. He found an army green t-shirt and some slightly ragged/holed camouflage pants. He tossed them over to him."That should do it." He turned to go to the boxes, grabbing the box which contained the wrist blades.
Taking the box out with him, KARR temporarily shed his jacket to clasp on the wrist blades while Adam changed. Testing out the buttons, with a couple clink from each blade, he tested their full length. He feigned an outward swipe at the air, then promptly jabbed horizontally with the other. Just as promptly, he pulled back both arms and the blades retreated into their metal sheets simultaneously with another click."I'm gonna like these...'KARR mused.

Adam noddded, and murmured a small 'thank you' when he was handed a change of clothing. The pants were ripped but it was otherwise a nice change of clothing nothing at all flashy or anyhting. But it was much better then walking around in what might as well have been towels. He sighed, stripping out of an tossing aside his clothing, and then pulling on the new clothing. It fit surprisingly well, much to his shock.
He sighed, getting up calmly and walking out of his 'bedroom' calmly and into the hangar. He watched KARR checking out his new wrist blades, curiously. He tilted his head, and decided to just ask what was on his mind. "What's so amazing about those wrist blades anyway, I don't understand." He asked, just curious of course.
He figured being that this mech was going to be taking care of him, he'd have to get along with him. And at the very least be as thoughtful as KARR seemed to be with him. He took interest in him, so Adam decided to return the favor. "Though they are pretty cool looking." He then added "Sort of like the weapons in that old video game Assaasin's Creed." He noted.

[would have posted sooner, but I passed out, sorry.]
KARR glanced at Adam, straightening up. "I do know of the game you speak of, however, I'm not exactly an assassin. I could be, but most of my operations don't fall in that category. All in all, they're great for close combat/melee. Optimus Prime has wrist blade type weapons, you know, but they're Cybertronian. Goliath has them too, but his are made of Energon. Most bots find hand to hand combat fairly easy. If we have weapons designed for it, the task is even easier, but still fun when you get the right opponents. Weapons like are among the list of them that help us get the job done, even if it's a little messy. These wrist blades will go great with my holo-form when I need to use it for if i need both forms or for fighting while keeping my real form hidden. This form cannot use all the weapons that my real form has. In general, these retractable blades are quick and efficient, and can be drawn at the last second to catch the enemy off guard. I find it quite handy." he explained.
KARR liked his guns as well of course, but with only being able to access his Lightsaber-chainsaws in his holo-form, it was time he got something else. If Adam didn't take a liking to the gun, he'd take that for now too. Both could be easily written into his programming.

(No problem)
The more Adam listened to what KARR said, the more interesting the Decepticon became. It was strange, but he really was of the intriguing sort. As evil as the Decepticons were he could deal with that. Though he wasn't sure he would ever be completely evil, he guessed he would have to try. "I can see what you mean by that. They are very.. Sharp." He made note of that.
He then thought to add another comment, he was unsure what came over him when he did though. He thought for a moment, then spoke. "Maybe when I get older I can get a pair of them." He said considering the possibility.

KARR nodded."Getting a similar pair wouldn't be that hard. It never hurts to be armed, and these are easy to conceal, another bonus. That gun can be shared, it's yours for whenever you may want to use it. I will not have a sidekick that isn't well armed. Consider yourself lucky, I'm giving you a day off so I can give you a tour around the base and introduce you to whoever is here."he said, planning on finding Melissa so they could talk later."But tomorrow morning at 0700 we're starting off training with exercise then some hand to hand combat. Meaning I'm getting you up at 0645 so you have a little time to prepare."
KARR turned to the right and motioned for Adam to follow."This way, my disciple."he snickered. He decided they'd walk around the base a bit, and he'd show him where some of the meeting rooms were, what bathrooms were left, the main armory, etc.

Adam listened to everything being said, had he not come from a Father who was former Millitary the hours would have been pure giberish. But luckily, he had a Father who was just that. "Ok, I'll have to get used to getting up that early. Normally I'd only do that for school." He admitted, with a small nod. Then again, he didn't really have a choice.
As he was motioned forward he was a bit cautious in following KARR. It wasn't that he didn't trust the mech, he actually had begun to trust him. The problem was the whole experiance, what he was undergoing, was... Frightening. He was still technically a captive, just one who had been adopted into the Decepticon ranks to be taught how to be one by what was by all means an 'adoptive' parent.
All the same, he followed KARR with a quicked pace. "So by tour, you mean, just show me around where I'm going to be living now, right?" He asked, trying to make sure he got that right.

"Yes. If you're going to survive here, you have to know. I do not want to be playing 20 questions all the time."KARR replied."After all, all though it may be against your will, this is your new home. I'll take you to the armory first. It's where you'll be training a fair bit."The armories in most bases did not always just contain storage units. Some often included a stage an an empty floor space, some with a second level leading to various offices or even a walking track. The armory in this base was somewhat the same way, only it didn't have the second level. It was just big.
Once they reached the armory, there was a section to the left where it seemed like at one point there used to be a mini cafeteria. Now, the Cons just used the space and table to store and freeze certain foods, which were often kept for long periods of time and was only used when they might have human hostages. The supply had gained some since the Decepticon Black Market was opened, and KARR noticed that right away. There was a variety of dried foods, soups, sandwiches and drinks of various types, which would easily be refrigerated or zip-locked. It was a miscellaneous array, and the boxes varied in size.
"Well here it is, there are various storage units along the walls. This is the only food supply we have. We don't always keep humans."To the right side of their current position, it looked like at one point there used to be a stage of some sort for promotional ceremonies or presentations, but there was just a large tile floor now. KARR glanced over to the area where they stored the food boxes. "When did you last eat?"

"It's a pretty nice place to train I have to admit. Big and open..." Adam then noted, having looked over things shaking his head "It's like one giant gym." He added.
Adam had to think of that, he wasn't even sure when he last ate. You didn't get fed every day on the Black Market, unless you were so weak you collapsed. Adam remembered eating the diharea-ish food about a week ago, and being it was the last meal he remembered eating, he guessed that was it.
"They fed me the 'food' as they called it about a week ago. That was the last time I had anything put in front of me to eat." Adam admitted, not going to lie. That stuff was edible but there was no way it was food. That coloring and the jelitan-ish form was just not human food like at all.

KARR glanced at Adam with a rather blank look. Most humans weren't supposed to go with out food for back, depending on their metabolism. A week with no food or water was pushing it, the kid must be weak nutrients wise. The weaker his body was, the quicker he'd get sick. If Megatron planned to use these kids for his breeding ploy, or whatever it was later on, it was not going to be very effective if he risked decreasing their life spans due to a shortage in decent food. From the sound of it, he hadn't been very well hydrated. KARR knew enough about humans, since he was Earth based, that this was a bad mistake on Megatron's behalf, or, whoever the heck put this market together.
"Hah, that's pretty noob-ish of them to not properly feed their hostages.' KARR replied, shaking his head a bit."If they want the kids adopted to be fit for being a Decepticon's adoptee, assistant or whatever, they should know to at least provide better food worth fighting over." he explained, and walked towards the run down kitchen, digging through some of the smaller boxes. He grabbed a bag of dried fruit, beef jerky and a water bottle."Here." KARR said, handing the items to him.

"You're telling me, they gave us something that looked like someone could have crapped it out. They force fed you if you opposed to it to the point it was once shoved down my throat." Adam remembered that well it was his first week there and he refused to eat it, so they eventually had a holoform hold open his mouth wide and began feeding it to him.
When he saw KARR leave then return with food Adam was dumbfounded, he hadn't seen actual food in a month. He practically drooled, swearing he felt saliva drip down his lower lip as he looked up. "Thanks!" He said with a great ammount of vigor.
The next thing he knew he was tearing into the food like a ravenous dog, scarffing it down and drinking water every so often to digest. Clearly the boy's week-long starvation was obvious beyond words, he had been holding back keeling over just the other day in fact. He sighed, within fifteen minutes it was gone, then looked up. "You don't even know how good that tasted." He said finishing off the water.

KARR watched at him with a semi amused look on his face. "It's obvious you needed it. Your vital signs were showing it too." he replied. "Really, I don't know how more stupid they could get out of feeding whatever the slag they fed you." he then shrugged and walked away from the food supply center, and strolled over towards where the empty stage was. There were two doors on either side by the corners. "The door on the left leads to another hall, while the door on the right is the main weapons storage unit."The hall to the far right close to the main entrance led to various meeting rooms, and the doors were big enough the bots could fit through in their bot forms, at least, if they were around Bumblebee's size. The base was not designed for bots."Some places look like bots wouldn't fit in them, but for most areas, it's possible. We've rebuilt a lot of these areas for that reason." KARR didn't need to tell the kid about how tight with security they were. If he tried to sneak out or use a weapon to escape at a later time, KARR would be the first to know, and the cameras would prove it.
[bleh, just cant think of anything else]
