Jake was slightly tired that afternoon, it was quiet, like it usually was these days. Jake still wasn't sure he'd ever get used to being somewhere so peaceful. Back with the Decepticons, it had been anything but. Usually he was filled with yelling, things being thrown, oftentimes, he was the one being yelled at and having things thrown in his direction.
But here on the Autobot base, things seemed to be the the exact opposite. It was calm, quiet, and unless there was anything bad going on, everything seemed to be at peace for long periods of time. His eyes wandered as he sat on the couch of the lounge area, watching a TV show. "Man, whoever said TV rots the brain didn't know what they were talking about." He chuckled. He'd only discovered TV a few weeks ago, and as such it was a new experiance.

Melissa with the loud sigh sat down on the sofa. She was today really tired out and very lazy. She had old, too big tracksuits on. Her brown hair, were in the complete disarray. She rubbed tired eyes and she looked at a boy. - I can see, kid you like the TV? - She out-talked and she yawned.

Jake jumped slightly, he hadn't even noticed Melissa in the room. Admittedly apprehensive, as he still was this way around new people, he looked at her a few moments. He was pretty sure she was friendly, but didn't want to take chances, but did not express this outwards. He had learned in his life avoiding someone was rude. "Yeah, I mean, I never had one before I came here... It's interesting." He replied.

- There are a few cool stations with new films. Only think so that it doesn't do the TV for you waters from the brain. - she said and she laughed cheerfully. She sat down comfortably and she covered himself with a blanket. -This gloomy people from NEST are watching only news. Zero senses of humour. All the time the seriousness and the seriousness. - She put the head on leaning the couch.

Jake nodded slightly, he had to chuckle a bit. He hadn't met many NEST members, as he was still very shy. "Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot my manners. I'm Jake... Chasm's son." He always introduced himself as such and got a lot of questions on if he was a Techno. Though of course, he wasn't. Jake was a human adopted by an Autobot, something almost unheard of. "Oh, you mean DirecTV? I discovered that last night, and also discovered horror movies scare me shitless." He chuckled.

Above the TV came the metallic thud of an Autobot's great clawed feet as Thunderhead stalked into the cavernous lounge. He'd been thinking of a little aerial patrol to kill some time and was about to report to Optimus to inform him, but had decided that for the time being he'd kick back before heading out.
Only it seemed he wasn't alone. He'd spotted the two human energy signatures on his way in; now that he had clear visuals of the two, he stood in place for a moment, sizing the adolescents up, the faint whirring of the countless gears and mechanisms within his body barely audible beneath the blare of the massive TV.
Finally the Autobot spoke up. "I'm not interrupting anything, am I?" he inquired softly, angular white optics sweeping from one human to the other and back. He kept his wings folded well behind him, the bladed edges of his ailerons glinting menacingly in the light.

- No, you are not disturbing, darling. - Melissa said and she looked at Autobot. One more time she yawned loudly. She wrapped herself up in a blanket as the larva. From under the blanket she stood out her only nose and pink flat tyres. - I didn't also introduce myself. Doctor Melissa Morrison. Only person here with a sense of humour.

"I wouldn't say that, my Dad can be pretty damn funny sometimes." Jake, looked up at the Autobot who entered, and nodded slightly "Yeah, you aren't bothering anyone at all." He replied nodding slightly with a shrug.

The female, Melissa, seemed to take issue with the seriousness with which most of the NEST personnel on the base conducted their business. Thunderhead understood them perfectly; the Decepticons had resumed their assault on the planet, and rumour had it Megatron had returned. The humans were no doubt deathly afraid of the enemy that hunted them.
But for now, thoughts of that enemy were far from the front of the Autobot's processor. Shrugging, he knelt in place to get closer to the humans, his wings sweeping upwards behind him, and introduced himself as they had done. "Name's Thunderhead," said the bot in his metallic British voice. "But most Decepticons know me as the Three-Second Man."

- Nice to meet you, Thunderhead. Are you new? For the first time I am meeting you. - Then again she yawned and she covered the mouth with the hand. - I apologise, I had a hard day. She closed her eyes and she stretch with the quiet sigh. After a moment then again she got up and she took the big packet of spicy chips off the table. She opened the packet with the loud rustle.

Jake simply sat there and stared for a few minutes in disbelief. Of course, being raised up until a few weeks ago by the Decepticons he knew him by his nickname alone. But he wasn't about to say that, not in front of an Autobot he just met. He was still deathly afraid someone would think he was still spying for the Decepticons. "Jacob, call me Jake thought." He nodded simply.

Melissa lifted one eyebrow up and carefully she looked like a boy. She took the fist of puff snacks out out of the package. She ate and she bent a little bit. Puff snacks was very much spicy. She coughed several times. - You noticed that the atmosphere in the base was becoming kind of... more tense. Nobody is telling me what is happening, but I feel that something is gearing up.
