Chasm smiled. "You've got it. Anything." Chasm pulled out one of the bigger canvases, handing the brushes to Jacob. "So, let's go outside and paint! You need more sunlight, and there's lost of neat things." He started towards the door. "Plus, the sun is getting ready to set, and I love painting sunsets."
(sorry it's so short...)

"Wow I was in there that long?" Jake commented, he had gotten out for a few hours then went back in that morning "But, sounds good, painting a sunset could be fun." He smiled a bit, following him out "Maybe after this, we can go and grab a cheeseburger." He suggested, figuring, as usual, he'd get hungry after an hour or so. And he figured Chasm wouldn't mind, at least not too much.

Chasm smiled. "Painting and cheeseburgers it is, then!" Chasm began walking towards the outside, and his favorite spot to paint, making sure to keep his strides slow and short enough that Jacob wasn't running to keep up. "Anywhere specific? McDonald's again?" Chasm remembered how much Jacob had grown to like the resteraunt. "We'll definately liven the place up with some color!"

"Is there anywhere else to grab a cheeseburger? But yeah, deffinently McDonald's." Jake replied with a grin. Of course, he didn't actually know where else they may sell Cheeseburgers. After all, he was almost like a newborn after all those years of being hauled up in the Decepticon base. He was still learning about the world outside the walls of a base. "What do you mean, liven it up with color?" He asked, raising an eyebrow as he continued walking.

Chasm chuckled at Jake's question. "There are many other places to get a cheeseburger. It just depends on if you want to sit down for an actual meal, or run in, get some food, and run out." He pushed the door to the outside open, holding it for Jake. "And what I meant by 'livening it up with color' is us going there! If McDonald's still has all those black and grey and white cars in it, we'll add some color to the mix!" He did a quick mental check of his schedule, and smiled at what he found. "Would you like to to take you around to try the different cheeseburger places tomorrow? I'm off duty until evening."

Jake grinned, but still thought for a moment. Did he have anything to do tomorrow? After a few minutes of thought he was assured that he had nothing to do tomorrow. "Sounds good to me, it could be fun." He smiled up at Chasm "It might be fun to go around and eat all those cheeseburgers."

Chasm smiled back. "I'll say. My holoform doesn't get that much use." Leaving the building, Chasm spotted where he liked to paint. "Here it is." Sitting down, Chasm set up the canvas in a way that he could hold it and paint, and began bringing paint out of subspace. "Feel free to use whichever colors you like. If you need one that's not out, let me know." He fingered the top of his right servo, and opened a small port, in which he inserted a bottle of yellow paint. A faint stream of yellow paint and air flowed out of the index finger of the servo, and he began moving it around, starting faint yellow shapes.

"Yeah, I bet not." Jake had often seen his new Father's holoform, but most of his interaction was with the mechs robot or alternate forms. He sighed, and began paiting very slowly. At first, he wasn't so sure he knew what he was doing, but slowly, he got the hang of it. "You know, you're right Dad, this is a lot of fun." He grinned a bit, looking over at Chasm.

Chasm looked over and smiled back. "I told you!" Chasm worked quickly, but carefully. Each stroke of his airbrush was as precise as he could get it. As he worked, and changed colors, moving from yellows to oranges to reds to purples, the image started to really take shape. The sun, as well as some of the colored sky around it could be made out. "I always had fun doing this on Cybertron. Each alt mode was different, so each job was a new challenge. I really miss it..."

"Yeah, I know what you mean Dad, I always like challenges." Jacob commented, smiling a bit. He wanted to say something else but he froze up a bit, the subject was still very touchy. "I get that from my real Dad, he used to like a good challenge... From what I remember anyway." He sighed, and looked down for a moment, letting his body calm before going back to painting. He didn't want to think to about it too hard, he still had a hard time not breaking down when thinking about them, or driving by the cemetary. He had broken down enough when Chasm had taken him to see them.

Chasm stopped for a moment and looked over. "You really miss them, don't you?" He asked. "I don't blame you. You barely got the chance to know either of them." He let out a sigh, something he'd picked up while on Earth. "It's hard, losing those you care about." His left hand went up to his helm, gently touching the sensitive dent that had been there for ages, then moving back down. "But, at least you had been around them, and knew them, if only for a little bit."

"Yeah, it's hard not to miss them sometimes." Jake admitted with a small nod of his head, but smiled up at Chasm, hoping to brighten the mood "But what matters is that I'm not alone with a bunch of Decepticons anymore. I've got a new Dad now." He then added "If there's one thing I've learned from you, it's to always look on the bright side of things." He added, he was being honest as well, and he hoped Chasm would see that.

"That's always a positive!" Chasm laughed a little. He looked at the painting, and decided it was time for a break. "Hungry yet?" He asked, subspacing the canvas and paint he'd been using. "We could go for the burgers now." He transformed, holoform appearing next to Jake. The holoform had slightly long golden blonde hair, and his eyes were the same blue-violet that his actual form's optics were, and looked to be about mid 20s. The clothing was faded bluejeans, permanently stained with paint spatters, and a black t-shirt. Gymshoes covered his feet. The holoform held out his hand for Jake.

"Yeah, I'm getting pretty hungry now that you mention it." Jake smiled as he said they could go for food. For a moment when the hand was reached out to him, Jake tensed. Before anytime a hand came out it was usually to hit him. But he knew Chasm would never hit him, he was not that kind of mech. Realizing it was just a motion to the car, he opened the passengers side door calmly and climbed in. "Man, I can't wait, I've had such a craving the past few days."

Chasm's holoform smiled as it got into the driver's seat. "I can immagine." He replied, putting himself into first and starting up, shifting gears through second and third into fourth as he pulled onto the highway, and speeding up into fifth. "So, McDonald's for sure, or do you want me to take you somewhere new?" Chasm had spotted several places that he'd heard made good cheeseburgers, and thought that Jake might like to go to one.
