Garret was standing by the entrance to the mall. It hadn't been his idea to come here, it had been Mellissa's. Laser tag and shopping. That was her idea. It wasn't a date. Garret thought that would never happen. Though, he did like to speculate about those kinds of things. He wondered if it would ever be possible for them to get together. He doubted it'd happen though.
Garret liked to think about things. He also liked moving along in an orderly manner. Still, he tried not to sound too grouchy. Are you ready Mellissa? He was really just standing there. Nothing else, and no matter what he thought, he wouldn't reveal those to the world.

"Yep, let's find the laser tag station thingy." Melissa said, walking forward. She scratched her head a bit, looking around, glancing at the entrance map to figure out what floor the laser tag room was on. It was so much cooler in the mall, Melissa felt quite refreshed."Hm, it's a few halls down. I hope I get good opponents!" They should all be glad I don't have my sword with me. she thought with an evil mental snicker.
Melissa glanced back behind her to make sure Garret was still following, and it looked like he was. She smiled briefly and kept her usual pace, which was fairly prompt and light with a bit of a bounce. Sometimes she liked to float across the ground, barely touching it to length her strides, especially when she was speed-walking. She liked the looks she got from people when they happened to notice (which in crowded places like this it tended to not be so noticeable). Melissa rounded a corner and took a long step, lifting up her rear leg as she turned to glide just a little--it was kind of like she was ice skating while in a normal walking stride...with out ice...

Garret did have to admit. Moving in this place in an orderly fashion would be impossible since it was so crowded. He did like that Mellissa was moving so quickly. Yeah. I just hope I stay in long enough to have some real fun. Garret wasn't the fittest person around, probably only fit enough to actually make his brains count in the game.
Garret shook his head when he saw Mellissa 'skating' around the corner. He couldn't make her be more cautious with her powers, adn he wouldn't try. He didn't have his powers yet, so he didn't entirely know what it would feel like. I really wish my powers would come in. I wonder what they'll be anyways. Seeing as Garret hadn't really noticed any specific connections between powers and transformer parent, he had no idea what his would be. Of course, there was always the possibility that he wouldn't get any. He pushed that thought away. Garret was following Mellissa, and he hadn't bothered to look at the map.How much farther is it?

Melissa resumed a normal walk and continued down the hallway, looking for any signs leading to the laser tag area. There seemed to be an opening farther down off to the left and it seemed to be the right way from what she saw on the map. "Should be just down this hall." she said, and turned left when she got to the end. Sure enough, the laser tag room wasn't that far off, and there was a mini cluster of customers already waiting in line to play. Once they reached the location, they were told to pay after the game was done. So they equipped them and then took a minute or two to go over safety precautions and how the guns worked, mainly where to hit the targets that were strapped onto their shoulders. Assuming they wanted to be on the separate teams, the man in charge put them on opposite teams. There were 5 members on each. Before they were taken to opposite ends of the dark room where they would duke it out, Melissa thought to herself: How fun it would be to use my powers here, but that would be cheating. Heh, oh well."See you on the front line." she snickered, waving before the rest of her group disappeared. Starscream's training often wore her out, Melissa was quite confident eliminating the rest of the team, except Garret-would be quite easy. Waiting with the others, the song Go by Andy Hunter started to play. More black lights turned on and smoke began to fill the arena, which was like a fake jungle of sorts, with several rises that looked like small slopes that were covered up by fake moss. There were also fake trees, random webs, and boulders of various sizes scattered about. Some boulders were grouped near trees, others were just placed about randomly. Additionally, there were a few walls about three times the size of your average person, give or take, randomly placed where there weren't trees. There was a total of four of them, staggered about from one end of the arena to the other. A light stand flashed green by each of their starting point, telling them they could go mobilize.

The day had gone on contented for this fifteen year old girl so far. It was a bit over average, no one had decided to mess with her today which seemed to keep a semi straight face. She didn't show a whole lot of emotion all the time besides interest and curiosity unless she were around a friend, and so far she found Interceptor as a friend. Even though yes, he was a giant robot of sorts. But even being that giant robot of sorts, he seemed to have a sense of fun lingering around him and Anistasia picked it up when hanging around him.
She was going straight for her favorite past time, or sport if you prefer, laser tag. She played laser tag just about, if not, every day. - WIP
