''Tell me about it
Hey there, my name is Vortex, but you can call me Wulf. I've been on this planet 18 years, but have been RPing for 3-4. Along with this character, I tend to make the lives of Chasm, Lockjaw/Killjoy/Stitches, and Wildrider a living hell. Just so you know I found this site by Jetta’s DA page.
''Damn I'm good
(helicopter arm is best pic of alt mode I could find...)
Character's Full Name: Vortex
Biological Name: (If Needed)
Nicknames: ‘Tex (used by Swindle only)
Age: Several hundred years older than the Great War
PB: (Not needed for Transformers)
Species: Gestalt Cybertronian; Combaticon
Side in the war: Decepticon
''There is more to them then meets the eye
Personality: Vortex is both a stable and unstable bot. He does not have a permanent personality fix on one thing, though he can become slightly insane while performing aerial stunts, caring very little about what is going on around him. When interrogating, he focuses completely on the job, taking great enjoyment out of it, dragging sessions on for hours, not even trying to get any information. Out of everyone in the gestalt, Vortex gets along best with Swindle.
Likes: Knives, hanging out with/working with Swindle, giving wild rides of doom, making things blow away, interrogating prisoners, tormenting Autobots
Dislikes: Starscream, Autobot helicopters, being handled by his rotors, Autobots, small spaces, stun guns
Fears: Being underground, losing his rotors for good,
Your Greatest Strength: Vortex’s strength would be his extensive knowledge about the art of interrogation. His methods range and vary, from simple physical torture with his knives, to locking a prisoner in his alt-mode’s cargo bay and performing the craziest helicopter stunts ever to exist in quick succession (and how!), until they begin screaming for the ground, promising to give all the information asked of them. His interrogation knowledge also gives him a good amount of medical knowledge, specifically which components do what, and how that can be used to help gather information.
Your Greatest Weakness: Being a flyer, Vortex has an immense fear of being trapped underground. Even being in a building for long periods of time can make him uneasy, if there is no opening to the sky. Being in such an area for extreme amounts of time can make Vortex panicky and unpredictable. Being a helicopter, his rotors are a sensitive area, specifically the connections between the rotors and his body.
''Fate rarely calls upon us at a moment of our choosing
Family: Fellow Gestalt members Swindle, Blast Off, Brawl, and leader Onslaught, along with the combined form Bruticus.
History: Vortex started out as a standard Decepticon interrogator, learning a decent bit of the medic job as well. Under Starscream’s orders, Vortex was one of five Decepticons reformatted into the Combaticon gestalt. At first, none of them got along, though Onslaught was able to keep them from killing each other. The worst was between Vortex and Swindle. When they discovered that they would have to work with each other, neither of them were happy. Exchanges of insults turned into exchanges in ammunition, and ended when Vortex pulled Swindle into his cargo bay to give one of his famous “interrogation rides,” and Swindle fired off every weapon in his arsenal. After crashing into the ground, both Vortex and Swindle received a berating for their actions from Onslaught. Oddly enough, the two have been inseparable ever since, becoming the closest out of the gestalt.
After the Combaticons were reformatted, they were sent as part of the force that was to capture the Archetype project. Swindle and Vortex pursued Arc after he was prematurely brought online, though Arc’s invisibility allowed him to get away, leaving Swindle and Vortex to explain how they let them slip away.
Recently, Onslaught ordered both Vortex and Swindle to go to Earth to help the Decepticons there, promising that the rest of the gestalt will follow as soon as they are able to.
Vortex seems to have some sort of history with the Autobot known as “Twister,” though he refuses to speak about it.
Anything Else?: Weapons include his rotor blades, his tail rotor, a hand-held semi-automatic glue gun (mounted under cabin in alt-mode), and in alt mode only he has twin machine guns mounted on the underside of his tail, as well as a tractor beam that fires from the cargo bay, though he finds it more fun not to use it.

Did you read the rules?: Yes

The street was quiet, at least as quiet as a neighborhood street could be with kids running around. Parked by the curb was an odd sight for the neighborhood, one that got more than a few stares. An '07 GT500 Shelby Cobra was sitting in front of an abandoned house, no owner in sight. The car was a dark purple, and had gold flames on its hood, as well as along the doors. It had been sitting there since the previous night, unmoving. Every so often, a small, near-inaudiable noise would emit from the hood, much like a sigh.
-Comm. unit Chasm, reporting in.- Bad idea. -The area seems clear of any- An explosion cut off the rest of the transmission as the Cobra was sent flipping through the air, landing on its side. "Owww....That was dumb of me....." Rocking his alt-mode, and using the door he'd landed on, Chasm managed to right himself, but was unable to pick up an energy signature. His comm. radio crackled to life. -Run run run, little Autobrat, as fast as you can.- Laughter followed. That was enough for Chasm. Tires squealing, he floored his gas and took off, breaking every speed law known to man, as well as some traffic laws. The Decepticon police cruiser was not far behind, lights and sirens blaring. Another message was coming through. -Chasm, this is Prowl. What is your status?- Chasm's reply was loud, and oddly cheery. -I'm runnin' from the law!-
