So far Chris's confinement had been hell, that was for sure. On the base there were a bunch of barracks he could have been in. But no, the Decepticons didn't want him comfortable, nor did they want him anywhere they couldn't keep close eye on him from. So where had they put him? It had once been used to store something.
It wasn't exactly a gun storage cabinet, it was bigger then that, but it was by the old armory. They had only moved it near the main room on the base in a corner. It was basically a large, clear box, it went well above Chris's head, and there were small holes for him to breathe, as well as a flap that food could be pused into. Thing was, he had not been fed the entire time he'd been there, which had been close to the entire day.
The good thing was he could move around, the bad thing was, he had been stripped of everything he owned. His PSP 5, his DS 6, his iPhone 6G they had taken all of it. Leaving him to sit there waiting for the negotiations for the exchange to begin.
"Come on you guys can't starve me!" He said to one of the Decepticon drones who walked by, and only ignored him. He shook his head, he was starving, he needed something to eat.. However it appeared the Decepticons couldn't care less. "Frag it..." He muttered, pulling his legs to his chest he rested his head again his knees, shaking it slowly "I just want this nightmare to end..." He mutttered.

Cutlass limped through the base. He was trying to find his way to a medic, or at least a repair kit he could use to fix up some of his injuries. He figured there may be something sitting in one of the small closets. He had already checked several things like them, the likely hood that a number of medical supplies were in the armory? On a Decepticon base, just as likely as anywhere else.
Cutlass walked into the armory, too big. That would take a good amount of time too search. He'd check some of the smaller closets. They were bigger than the human closets, but they were closets to him. It was about the fourth door that he opened up. There was a kid sitting in there! Uh. Hello? What're you doing in there? It was probably because of the fact that this kid had fixed up his paint job that he knew him. It was also probably the wrong time to ask if there was a repair kit in there.

Chris jumped back in the container the moment it was opened, he looked the Decepticon was eerily familliar. But he didn't think about it too much, he kept his distance, crawling back further till he hit the back. He didn't want to have the Decepticon try and attack him, like he was sure the Decepticon was there for. "What does it look like?" He said apprehensively "You're a Decepticon, you should know how your kind treats their hostages." He grumbled.

Boy, I just got here. I was looking for a repair kit so I wouldn't have to see the medic. Why did the Decepticons kidnap you, why not an Autobot? Do you even matter to them? Plus, I'd just rather go beat up a robot, and I dislike fighting in the first place. Cutlass may have just accidentally given the kid a weak point he could use, but he didn't care, Chris would never get out of the base. Cutlass had busted his aft trying to get here from California, just for repairs. He'd hate to have anything happen that could cause him to lose that chance.

Chris eyed the Decepticon warrily, he had never heard of a Decepticon who would relish in the chance of hurting a weaker being. In yet here he was, assuring him he wasn't going to hurt him. "Because I'm a barganing chip to get my Dad to hand over the Matrix of Leadership." He commented, rather quietly "Apparently your superiors think that my Dad will give in to save me..." Of course, this was true, there was a strong chance Optimus would hand it over if it meant his safe return. His Father was too protective for him not to.

The matrix of Leadership? I don't think I've heard of it. Ugh, how did something like this happen; this kid that he had met had coincidentally become an object of importance in this war, he was being held hostage by his superiors. Cutlass didn't understand what twisted mind would make something like this occur. It had to be someone up high orchestrating this, and it was just as likely it was Megatron himself.
Cutlass looked around, if anyone caught him talking to this kid, hostage or not, the consequences could be dire. Cutlass didn't want to take a risk like that. Plus, if his superiors wanted to hold a teenager hostage, then this could be the turning point of the war. He would probably get to see his home once again, Cybertron, in all its old glory. He couldn't think too well, the metal bent all over his back, it was irritating and distracted him. Especially his wheel. That was where his main difficulties lay, he had trouble transforming because of that, and also his legs. and a bit of his arms. He lifted up his arm, the one that had a majority of his hand blasted off and into his leg. That gun, no weapon of mass destruction, had created pure trauma.

"I don't know much about it myself. All I know is that when Dad gave the shard to me for my thirteenth birthday... He said next to the Allspark it is the most important Artifact in existance." Chris commented, he didn't care that he was saying this to a Decepticon, at least his boredom was eased for now. He tried not to look as upset as he was, but he wasn't sure how well that was going.
He heard his stomach growl slightly, then looked up. Maybe he'd know the answer to the question burning in his mind. "Y-You guys feed the prisoners right?" He asked. He was really starving by now, it was nearing night and he hadn't eaten since four in the afternoon the day before, when he had dinner. He hadn't even been given any energon, and he could go for that now.

It was almost as important as the All Spark? Cutlass was intrigued. What could it do? He wasn't going to be getting any answers from this human, that was for certain, especially since he didn't know too much about it. He looked at the kid, offering his hand, full of energon cubes. I have some spare energon, nothing else on me. Can you eat that? Or would that be toxic?
Cutlass looked at the kid, something didn't add up here. If you're a human, then how would your father have access to such an important artifact? Cutlass was confused, not many people could even claim such importance. Let alone a human. He stared at Chris.

"No I can drink Energon..." Chris nodded, he almost felt akward with what he was about to say. He never thought he'd be saying it to a Decepticon. "Thanks..." He commented, though he couldn't bring himself to smile "You know, you're not like the others." He took one cube slowly, not wanting to get the mech who actually showed him kindness in trouble. He drank it slowly, taking a few minutes to finnish it. It didn't fill him up completely, but it left him content, and likely it'd remain that way for a while. "Everyone else kinda looked at me, then walked off when I asked if I'd be fed."
He thought for a moment, setting the empty cube down. He took a minute to think it over. So this mech didn't know who he was... Well he guessed he could answer him, after all he owed him that much for the kindness he was showing. "I'm only part human... Both my biological and adoptive Father's are Autobots." He said simply "My adoptive Father... He's Optimus Prime."

Cutlass just looked at the boy. Why did he feel such pity, pity that this kid couldn't even get fed around here. He should have expected it though, this was a Decepticon base. It had to be expected, the guards were always pretty cruel. Cutlass just assumed that the Autobots were the same way, if not worse.
Cutlass glared at the kid. I'm not going to bother trying to figure that one out. So I'll just ask. How is that possible? Yeah, he wasn't going to try to figure out how an Autobot was going to have a humanoid child. He was very surprised that Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots, had deigned to adopt the kid. That explained why this certain kid was being held hostage, certainly the most plausible one anyway.

"You mean to tell me you don't know anything about Project: Hybrid?" Chris replied, looking at Cutlass "Government Project that took the DNA of Transformers and created human infants out of them. Therefore producing human children of Transformers." He commented, looking down "I'm the eldest, I came a year to two years before all the others." He shook his head "How I got to be Optimus's son is a much longer story."

Cutlass just stared at the kid. Actually, that made sense. And that was odd. Now that I understand it, I understand why the other 'cons might want you. He really did. Most likely as a pet, but he wasn't about to tell this kid that, even if the Decepticons did get the trade off they asked for, he would be unlikely to leave. Cutlass looked around. Chris was either a dead kid, a pet, a slave, or, if he got extremely lucky, free soon. Cutlass didn't pay too much attention, but he did know that a lot of organic species had been captured, even if he hadn't seen them all that often, and he did know that they were usually extremely miserable at first.
If what you say about there being more hybrids, then they may also be targeted. To up the stakes for the Autobots. That was also very logical, and very obvious. The more people they had captured, the more opportunity these allies of his had to win this war. But, that'll just make it more likely we win the war. Good news for me, since then the rebuilding of Cybertron should start. Hopefully, unless we still have to take on some hiding Autobot rebels. I can't wait to see Cybertron again.

"You honestly think Megatron gives a damn about bringing Cybertron back?" Chris asked, looking at him as if Cutlass was a few bolts short of a full processor "He couldn't give less of a crap about that. All he cares about is global conquest. Nothing more or less." He shook his head "If he had wanted to rebuild Cybertron he would have done that a long time ago. It's still there just in shambles." He shook his head again "You Decepticons are too blind to realize what scum your own leader is."

Megatron is not scum. And he will try to rebuild Cybertron. Deep down, in the bottom of his processor, embedded into his programming, Cutlass knew he didn't even believe what he was saying. He just clung stubbornly to that belief though, that hope. If he didn't, he had no reason to fight, no reason to remain alive, right now anyway. There was always the Autobots, but he was not going to go over to them unless he knew that they wanted what he wanted.
Even if he doesn't, then I'm sticking with the Decepticons. Unless somebody proves to me that the Autobots are any different. He stuck to what he believed in, through and through. Of course, he didn't always do that, if he was persuaded differently, if they presented a strong enough case against that.

"Not saying you should, all I'm saying is what I know from what my Dad told me and what I've seen in history vids." Chris shook his head "In a way I feel sorry for you, it doesn't even seem like you believe what you're saying." He shook his head slightly, closing his eyes briefly "Why do you even fight for something you don't even believe in, if that's the case?"
