Driving along one the roads that went over the vast deserts Moonracer was enjoying one of her days of breaks, or what she hoped to be a break. Since coming to Earth she had helped tracked the Decepticons and terminate them but now just wanted to go for a joyride. Surely the Autobots wouldn't mind?"Alittle break never hurt anyone." Moonracer said to ehrself continuing her drive. The only thing she had to worry about was a surprise attack from a decepticon or something to ruin it, besides that the free spirited motorist was at ease.

(I couldn't resist posting here because after seeing Moonracer's profile, I thought it'd be cool for her and KITT to meet-he recently met Arcee^^.)
It's not really that big of a deal, but how fast is she going?)
KITT drove along at about 100 mph on the same road Moonracer was on, only several minutes back from her. Loud techno music thrummed from inside his Shelby Cobra GT500KR form. He was in attack mode for the sake of making efficiency and range with speed. KITT was capable of moving at Transonic speeds (a little above 600 mph), but he usually didn't go that fast except in open areas like this. And right now, he was just cruising. He was going far faster than any normal vehicle was anyway. Out here, it didn't really matter. Parts of his systems were solar-charged during the day. With it being in the dead middle of the afternoon, he was actually able to preserve a lot of power and have far better performance than most vehicles on hot days.
Deciding to accelerate, KITT's engine revved up-the artificially intelligent vehicle increased his RPM's and changed gears. In a matter of a couple of seconds, the Autobot shifted to 200 mph, gaining more distance between him and a motorcycle up ahead. His techno music continued to play as his scanners picked up the readings of an autobot up ahead. One that was remarkably similar to someone he'd met some time ago, Arcee. Curious, he kept his speed going, letting the distance proceed to close.
He accelerated a few miles per-hour faster and caught up to the smaller motorcyle, meeting whatever speed Moonracer was at. KITT's glossy black nano-skin and gray racing stripes shimmered atop the hood and beyond the fancy tripple-hood scoop that was placed a bit aft in the center of the hood.
"Greetings." KITT said in his hollow AI voice. He said nothing more, nothing less--at least, at that point in time...

(I don't really know, at least 90 or 100 mph.^^;I haven't really thought for her speed honestly.)
Moonracer had heard the music, alittle surprsied at hose fast KITT had caught up to her though glad it was only another Autobot signal. "Greetings, and who might you be?" She asked curiously, still driving at at least 100 mph on the open road.

"I am the Knight Industries Three Thousand-or for easier reference: KITT." the AI vehicle replied. For a while, KITT didn't know what else to say. He didn't want to outright state that he thought she was a lot like Arcee. As far as he could tell, she really did remind him of her.
Unfortunately, there was not much to talk about either. KITT was generally fairly quiet anyway. Screw it. May as well just state it. "You signature readings are very much like Arcee... Do you know her?" He blurted.

"Nice to meet you KITT, the names Moonracer."Moonracer replied. For the long silence she just drove not knowing what there coudl be to talk about since normally there was not alot of interesting things to talk about. But when he had asked if she knew Arcee Moonracer would have smiled if in robot mode. "Actually yes I do, you could say she is my sister. Why? Have you met her KITT?" The blur motorcycle asked. There may have been the possbility but it did not hurt to ask.

"Nice to meet you too. Yes, I have. Recently, in fact." KITT rounded a bend as the road began to wind some more, and he slowed down. Now that that question was taken care of, KITT found that he didn't have much else to talk about. They drove in silence for a bit, just following the road. "Not much out here," KITT muttered, sounding quite dull. "Isn't the tomb Sam and his friends found somewhere around here?" He asked. Having been with FLAG when this had happened, he'd never even considered the possibility of a race similar to him existing out there...

"Really." Moonracer said with slight surprise. She slowed a little when the road began to curve more and drove in silence.Soon the pavement ended and they were driving on a dirt road as it was for most of the roads in Egypt."Your talking about the 'Tomb of Primes'. And yes somewhere in this wasteland it's here just it's diffficult to find." She said. She had never seen the Tomb but had heard rumors about it though didn't think all of them were true just a few.

"Yes, really. And...I've been thinking that I should learn more about Cybertronic history...or whatever you call it. Unlike all 'Earthly' information that I can download straight from Satellites here, there is very little information open to the public. What information is out there is classified and I'd rather not constantly breach security codes-I would look like some kind of spy if I did, and I'd have to erase my tracks every time. Needless to say its not worth the search and I should just learn as much as my can from my encounters." KITT said, pausing for a bit in thought as they drove along. "Because you see, I was not...originally an Autobot. No, not decepticon either. I was created on Earth by a man named Wilton Knight, and then later revamped by a man named Dr Charles Graiman."

Moonracer listened, it came as a shock to hear how KITT was created but not very since anything could be possible. "That is surprising, KITT. Your the first Autobot or transformers I've heard of ever being made or created by human hands which is quite an accomplishment to do though not impossible." She replied. "As for the hostory and information there's little I know myself but I keep my audio receptors and otical sensors open just in case soemthing may turn up." She said. As the road no longer curved she sped up once more, though the road had beocme very bumpy and was flying everywhere from her wheels at the speed she went at.

A hot pink motorcycle came revving up from behind KITT and Moonracer, increasing its speed as it approached the two. She scanned the two and immediately recognized her sister moonracer and then she noticed KITT, she sped up to a speed of 100+ miles per hour and caught up with the two in an instant. "Moonracer!" Arcee shouted as she raced alongside her sister. "Where have you been?"

Still going at 100 or so miles per hour Moonracer saw the other motorcycle, about to scan for who it was until she recognized who it wa and the voice calling her name. "Arcee!" Moonracer exclaimed, "And out for a joyride. You can't expect all of us to stay at NEST all day, every day do you?" She replied. Besides the hot weather, endless miles of sand, and not much green it was a perfect day to just relax and take it easy fighting Decepticons could make one miss the carefree days of just racing around and having good time. So while not fighting would a joyride or soemthing to relax hurt for a day? "I thought since we hunt the Decepticons almost all the time and barely any breaks to just take the chance to unwind, have some fun on the open roads of the egyptian desert." Moonracer said doing a wheelie and speeding up.

"I agree." KITT said. He accelerated up to a hill. He decided to activate turboboost to get ahead of them, just to show off a little-even though he could go a lot faster. The ground slopped up more and more as KITT approached the crest of the hill they were driving up. KITT transformed into attack mode as he went up the hill, his form becoming sleeker, acquiring some racing stripes, a fancy hood scoop and a brilliant blue set of neon lights on his chassis.
"Time for some turbo-boost." KITT said as he transformed. "Transformation complete. at the top of the hill, KITT's speed accelerated rapidly and side thrusters pushed straight down into the ground as a brilliant burst of bright blue energy errupted behind him like a fighter jet. KITT shot clear out of view and jumped a long ways down beyond the leeward side of the fairly hill, landing well beyond it before speeding onward.

Arcee chuckled as Moonracer did a wheelie and raced on past her. She revved her engines and sped past Moonracer with ease, increasing her speed as she passed Moonracer, then she stopped at a speed of 150 mph and her scanners watched KITT glide past her with hardly any effort at all. She was amazed she hadn't seen KITT go that fast before, he truly was an impressive car. But her amazement didn't end there as she watched him turbo boost over the hill, "How in the name of Cybertron can he do that!?"

Moonracer caught up to Arcee, also impressed at KITT being abel to do a turbo boost, "Good question." Speeding up slightly on the way up the hill, she reached the top but could no longer see KITT even at the very top as she raced down the hill bringing her front wheel up as she reached the very bottom then leveled out and picked up speed. By this point she was going at least 180 mph and not bothering to slow down. A day liek thsi called for some fun after all! "Now this is a joyride! We should do this more often!" Moonracer said.

KITT accelerated a little to keep up with the two sisters. "The system used is a little unique. In a way, I have a generator that creates a surplus of energy that sort of acts as an after burner, allowing me a significant boost of speed. Kind of like nitrous. The generator has its own chamber apart from the engine. It's been improved over the years-and having since upgraded a third time, the generator is the best it might ever be. Of course it certainly doesn't compete with the fastest of Cybertronia, and neither does my aerial form." Slowing down slightly, KITT shifed to a lower gear as they rounded a wide turn along the desert, the ground rolling up and down now and then, but not as much as it had earlier.
In the distance, though, the earth rose considerably again.
