Hey there, my name is Arctic, but you can call me Arctic, nothing else, you have been warned. I've been on this planet 14 years, but have been RPing for around 1 year, a little shorter. Along with this character, I tend to make the lives of Silencer a living hell. Just so you know I found this site by an Advert.
{I will say that it’s not my pic}
Character's Full Name: Cutlass
Nicknames: Blades, Chicken (Usually only ‘Cons who aren’t good at covert operations)
Age: He’s in the equivalent of the human’s 30’s.
Species: Decepticons
Side in the war: Evil
Personality:
Cutlass is more of an assassin than any other type of fighter. He loves blades, since they make little noise, and don’t need ammunition. He does keep two handguns though, mainly because they are light, and only somebody without a processor would go into battle without a single gun. Of course, Cutlass loves to practice remaining covert, even going as far as having several devices installed to reduce his energy signal, but it’s only effective at a large distance, if only making it so he isn‘t a bright red dot on a black background, metaphorically speaking, more of a dark green one. He doesn’t speak too much, a habit that he keeps even when he isn’t on a mission. There are periods that he’ll be ‘long-winded’, speaking more than not. It is quite simple to convince him of an idea, as long as you can back it up with evidence. Thus, Cutlass is quite easy to be persuadable, to the point that you could probably persuade him on a point the opposite of what he held his entire life. He dislikes true fighting, even if he loves to practice sparring with his multitude of blades. That would lend some doubt as to why he chose to become a Decepticon, but he really just thought that Megatron was going to repair their broken home world, Cybertron, after the end of the war. Yet, he does oftentimes wonder why the hell the Decepticons and Autobots couldn‘t have just taken the time to sit down and talk out their differences.
Likes: Silence; espionage; stealth; quiet weaponry (blades); light guns; having the element of surprise, any lapse in the fighting; Sparring
Dislikes: Noise; being taken by surprise; big, heavy, loud guns; having little effect; fighting
Fears: Death; becoming obsolete; giant battles; that the war will never end permanently
Your Greatest Strength:
Best at close range weaponry, Cutlass carries a number of blades, and is efficient in their use. He likes to spar, stay in motion, and his fighting instincts have been honed. He makes split second decisions during battles, actually not even thinking about what he’s doing during a fight. He just acts, keeping his thoughts away from what he is doing, lest he make a mistake.
Your Greatest Weakness:
The main thing that somebody could exploit in Cutlass is that he hates to fight, unless it’s just for fun. They could easily lure him into a ‘diplomatic’ talk, then attack while he isn’t expecting it. If he didn’t separate his thoughts from his actions during combat, he would probably hesitate whenever it was crucial for him not to, such as when he had to block an attack aimed for his spark, or dodge a missile that could probably blow him to pieces.
Family: Unknown ‘family’
History:
At the beginning of the war, Cutlass was mainly trying to figure out why he hadn’t heard of any peace talks between the two factions. He decided that it must have been because the Autobots had wanted to keep the All Spark for themselves (or at least from the Decepticons), and Megatron wanted it to be available to their race as a whole. Following that decision, which was influenced by a load of misinformation, he joined up with the force he thought was in the right, the Decepticons, to oppose those he believed to be in the wrong.
He tried to stay out of view of superiors, trying to avoid being assigned to combat. He wanted to help his cause, not fight every day of the war. When the war ended up doing the damage it had done to Cybertron, Cutlass was ready to quit the war altogether. Then he got the idea, from somewhere or another, that the Decepticons were going to find some way to rebuild the planet. That gave him the zeal to allow himself to fight more, and not to drop out of the army. He mainly found himself in the middle of a few small skirmishes, spread out over so many of the years before Earth ever came up in the eyes of his allies. When he finally heard of Earth, and that the war had moved there, he started to travel as fast as he could. It still took him quite a while to reach Earth though, not getting to this planet until peace, if temporary, had been established for some time.
Anything Else?: Uh, I don’t really think so.

He stepped farther into the shadows. If anyone saw him now, it would most likely be a cause for alarm, and quite possibly panic. Cutlass looked around the area he was in. He couldn‘t stay here long, because the inhabitants of this world may just as well be coming to investigate. He had come shooting through the atmosphere, to come crashing down in the middle of the city limits. He peered around the area, looking for a vehicle that was an appropriate size. Ah, that one looks good.
Quickly scanning the bright orange motorcycle, Cutlass began the transformation process. Even in this mode, the most discreet exit from the building would be, rather tight. He revved his engine, rolling forward to the hole, and moved through it. Slag it. I liked this paint job too. I‘ll have to find some place to get this touched up. He started through the programs to create a holoform. After around one minute, Cutlass had a holomatter avatar sitting on his alternate mode. It looked tall, thin, and probably around seventeen. With that out of the way, Cutlass cut on the small number of lights on his frame, and took off, turning onto the human‘s highway, a large scratch going down his right side. He started to access the internet, looking for one of the human‘s body shops. If I find one that services motorcycles, I shouldn‘t have to worry, unless the Decepticons here before me did a horrid job of hiding themselves, nobody should know what the insignia on my gas tank is. I should go ahead and get that repainted too.
