Teens of ages fourteen through nineteen wondered the halls, the normal gossip floating in the air mixed with angst. With the twitch of a certain someone's ears she could hear the cheer leaders speaking of their annual puke-a-thon after lunch and then their worthless comments on others' flaws. You could see jocks pushing a nerd back and fourth to each other while they laughed, and a few goths keeping to themselves in a group of three, maintaining a gruesome stare on anyone and everyone that passed.
One girl who cared about none of this had just left third period with a single back pack strap around her uninjured shoulder, the other strap hanging loosely almost like her laziness. She walked by not caring to take a look at anyone, but already knowing what they were all doing. Her sunlight sensitive eyes were in an uncaring yet devious form as if she was bubbling up some escape plan. She gripped her binder gently, but still with a firm hold as she stared at the ground to walk towards the lunch room where she could begin her leap of faith in playing hooky.
Not all plans of course, go accordingly to plan. The cheer leaders were heading straight for her, which made her stop with her back turned to them, completely still and listening carefully. Three of the cheer leaders had looked at one another with a bit of a smirk before all three going to ''accidentally'' shove her into the overgrowing trashcan which contained someone's forcefully removed breakfast. Anistasia side stepped at the right time and turned to them with her usual demonic stare she had learned to use on others to scare them off. The cheer leaders had indeed, shown creeped out faces and merely turned around laughing about her flaws as usual.
With not even a moment to stare, Anistasia had gone back to her walking almost towards the lunch room, but then laziness kicked in. Why bother looking for vents when one could just walk out the door? So turning around, she slid through the halls unnoticed, as if like a shadow, and reached over to push the hall door open which led to the outside world.
