Alex was in Tranquility, but he wanted to go vacation. He texted Carwen and Cira, "Meet me at the airport.. we are going vacationing to Las Vegas.." He carried his black Jansport school bag and put some clothes in there along with toiletries which were toothbrush, toothpaste, soap. He also brought shampoo and conditioner of Head and Shoulders. He was waiting at the entrance and came in a taxi.
He wore his sunglasses and sat on the ground. He missed her and knew today was the day she got out of the hospital. It was only going to be a three day and two night trip. He was going to bring his friend, but they were busy. Jake and Sarah went to Catalina Island for a week.

Carwen raised an eyebrow at the text and let out a soft sigh. After the hospital trip, her mother had relaxed around Alex and allowed Alex to be the one watching over Carwen when the girl was about town. She shook her head again at the text and pocketed the cell phone before packing up some stuff, including two extra inhalers, just in case.
She shifted and walked down with the suitcase in her hand. "Mom, Alex wants to take me on a vacation," she stated and her mother stared at her.
"Vacation where?"
"Vegas."
Carwen watched her mother think it over. This was the first time Carwen would be going anywhere without her mother and said mother was no rifling through her suitcase, before handing the inhalers over to Carwen, insuring they were in the girl's small purse before she sighed.
Closing the suitcase, her mother seemed to be deep in thought. "Here's the credit card. If he does anything, but a ticket straight back home," she stated and Carwen stared.
The 'emergency' credit card had Carwen's name as the pin. It had a longer pin then most, but it was also a higher type of credit card. And the fact it was Carwen's name it was obvious it was an emergency credit card.
"I will Mom."
The drive to the airport was a continious talk about everything and Carwen got out of the car with a smile. She might tell Alex about the credit card, but in the meantime, she walked over to where Alex was sitting at the entrance. "Hey!" she called happily, still holding the suitcase.
Her mother was following by about three feet.

Cira was at her condo, having just come home from active duty at NEST. She sighed, tossing her A10 helmet on her couch and changed out of her flight suit. After taking a quick shower, when she checked her phone she saw it was from Alexander Stevens. She'd met him once. Wondering what he could be texting her about, Cira flipped open her black Krazor and discovered that he was arranging. Oh a trip to Las Vegas this weekend! I'm off duty and Alex is back now! she thought happily. Sounds like I can bring Alex. Fun fun fun. Cira texted back quickly telling him she was going to pack and pick up Alex and leave her black pick up Toyota pick up truck at the airport. She then texted Alex, telling him it would be even better if he could join. She told them Carwen and Alex were friends of hers she was recently getting to know and that she liked them a lot. Cira immediately began packing. Once ready, she tied up her hair and was lucky to buy a ticket for her and Alex. Cira left to go pick up Alex. ((we should wait for Alex unless Matt(Alexander) and Carwen want to talk a bit at the airport. Just don't leave or anything obviously  )) |

Matt saw that Carwen has arrived. He hugged her and lifted her up a little and said, "Hey Darling.." He noticed that Cira has came too. He greeted her with a smile and waved to her.
He said, "So.. Carwen did your mom approve of our trip..? I am so glad that you came out of the hospital.." I planned for us to stay at the MGM hotel isn't that exciting?" They have a really good buffet.." He was so excited it was going to be a double couple trip. He said, "So... Carwen did you bring enough inhalers this time?"

Carwen squealed in delight and wrapped her arms around his neck as he lifted her up a little. She waved at her mother, who left at that, and she smiled a little at her boyfriend. She wrapped her more around his neck. "One question at a time sweetheart!" she responded softly.
"Yes, Mom approved, yes that is very exciting, and yes, I brought enough inhalers. My usual one and two extra," she answered, gently rubbing her head against Matt.
It was an odd show of affection, but it was her way of snuggling before going and doing anything. She kept her arms around Matt's neck, but was having to standing on her tip-toes to not yank her arms out of their sockets. "Want to ease my arms and pick me up my handsome stud?" she asked with a grin before snuggling against him more.

Matt noticed that Carwen was struggling and he lifted her easily and put her legs on his waist and he walked to the sliding door and sat on the nearest bench.
He put her down next to him and said, "So.. Sweetie..I can't believe I can sleep in the same room as you..We are going to get a really huge room for all four of us..or should I get the two separate ones?" He touched her hand and held it there. He smiled lightly and his smile grew a little. Matt loved being her couple any day. He fell head over heels. He kept smiling thinking about his memories in the rain.
He was daydreaming off into La La Land. Some people laughed at him and said bad remarks about him. He didn't care because he was in his paradise. He snapped out of it and came back to reality. He was still touching her hand and put it onto his lap. He looked at her eyes and hair. He touched her waist and said, "You cutie pie.." He then squeezed her cheeks and said. "You are a bunny soft.." He was slowly break his shell and becoming more outgoing. He made sure that his right arm was stayed hidden. It had his cannon.

Carwen laughed softly as he lifted her up and she clung to him lightly. She smiled as he took her inside, though she had to make sure that the suitcase came with them. She smiled warmly and flushed a little at his comment while she snuggled against him. "If we get a big huge room, will it have two bathrooms, or will it just have one?" she inquired in responce.
She loved the fact that she was with Alex. It made her day, even if it was from the other side of a stupid oxygen tent. Man, those things needed to die. Giggling happily, she wrapped her arms around his neck and snuggled against him on the bench, with a large smile. "Whichever," she responded happily, just glad to be near him.
It was going to be a great vacation. She suddenly giggled as he squeezed her cheeks and rubbed her face a little against his hand. "Yes, yes. And you are my snuggle bear," she responded softly, gently resting her hand on his hand as well.
The closeness wasn't unnerving to her, it just felt oddly right.

Matt thought about it for a moment for the room arrangements and he got his phone and called the MGM hotel and said, "Two separate rooms.. uhh.. okay.." He made it across from each other in the hallway. He laughed and said, "We are going to give Cira some privacy..She are older than us anyways.."
He smiled lightly and said, "Snuggle bear..fine you are my cutie bootie bunny.." He felt comfortable around Carwen. He put his left arm around her shoulder. They were awfully close to each other. He looked at the door and saw that Cira was still waiting for someone. He walked to the door and out to the entrance and said, "Cira.. you should wait inside on the bench or something.."
He walked to the automatic sliding door and went back to the bench and he couldn't wait until the Vegas trip. Matt looked through his backpack and checked his plane ticket and it was an hour to take off. Matt said, "Let's buy something to eat... I am hungry.."

Carwen smiled a little at him and let out a squeak of laughter as he called her his bunny. She didn’t mind the nickname part and she leaned a little into the arm that was wrapped around her shoulders. She smiled a little at her boyfriend and she cuddled against his arm a little more when he saw Cira. She sat up a little to let him go and watched as he walked over to her. She shifted and smiled as he came back, picking up her suitcase as he suggested getting something to eat. “Eating sounds great. What should we get? Can we get Chinese food? I’ve been trying to learn how to eat with chopsticks. I just looks cool,” she responded cheerfully, gently taking his left hand with her free hand.
She enjoyed being close to Matt and swung her hand a little, smiling up at him while she looked up at him with a big smile. She looked at peace with herself and she leaned a little against his left arm as she walked forward, smiling. “So, where are we actually going to go?” she asked suddenly, looking up at Matt with a smile.
She shifted a little and continued to walk with him. She felt so safe near him, something she doubted she would feel elsewhere. She looked up at him and asked, “When do I get to meet your dad?”

Alex had been standing behind Cira and to her left the whole time since she arrived there. He guessed his silence and the two loves birds practically all over each other had to do with them not even noticing he was there. As he watched them he couldn't understand how people could be like that in public, he had been that way ever since high school.
He was wearing a pair of jeans, a black t shirt, his leather jacket and boots. He had a single duffel bag slung over his shoulder that had enough clothes and amenities for 4 days and nights. He also had enough money to have some fun while he was in Vegas with Cira.
He reached into the right pocket in his leather jacket and fumbled around with something for a moment before taking his hand back out. He walked up next to Cira and looked over at her, motioning his head in the direction the other two had went.
"I'm buying babe." he said nonchalantly. He walked off after Matt and Carwen and figured the introductions would happen after they were all together and not so 'distracted'.

"Oh...um okay!" she said smiling happily. Cira ran forward with her backpack and her purse hanging off her right shoulder. She caught up to him easily. Grabbing his hand she followed after Carwen and Matt. "Wait up you two love doves! I'm thinking mcDonalds or taco bell!" when she and Alex caught up to them, she added: "What do you guys have in mind?"

Alex held Cira's hand as they walked, he had an obvious smile on his face; well, obvious on him at least. When she mentioned Taco Bell he got a little excited, he loved Taco Bell and she knew it. So rather then just talk to Cira and be antisocial, Alex decided to strike up a conversation with the others.
"So the MGM huh? Not bad, oh and thanks for getting the seperate rooms, really appreciate it." Alex said as he gently squeezed Cira's hand playfully. "I don't mind splitting the bill with you while we're there either, it's the least I could do after the invite. Oh and I'm Alex by the way, never did the proper introduction back there."
He adjusted the strap of his bag over his shoulder just before reaching over to Cira's and taking her bag from her and flinging it over the same shoulder as his own bag. He then brought her hand up to his lips and kissed the back of it softly.

Matt replied, "Hmm.. maybe when he is not busy at NEST.." Anywhere for eating is fine.. how about Panda Express?" He saw that Cira and Alex was coming up. He replied, "No problem.."
He wasn't sure what to buy since Cira wanted to get Tacobell. He thought about for a minute and he scratched his head in confusion. He introduced himself also, "Oh.. Hi I am Alex too but you can call me Matt.." He walked with Carwen and " The plane leaves in an hour.. eat fast.." He smiled lightly at the other couple and Carwen.
He was looking at all the restaurants and it was just endless of choices. There was a Panda Express, McDonalds, Tacobell, Burger King, and a Italian Restaurant.

"Oh! Panda Express! I like that. I think I should have orange chicken...that will be nice, though. When he's not busy. But, Panda Express sounds good right now," she responded, smiling brightly at Matt before looking at Alex.
At the apperance of new people, she seemed to shift slightly so she could kind-of hide behind her Alex as she waved shyly at this new Alex. "Hi...I'm Carwen," she introduced softly, gently holding onto Matt's arm almost too tightly.
She was a little shy and meeting someone new was the thing that was activating her shyness. She almost cuddled against his arm in her shyness and pulled a little on his shirt. "I'm going to go get my food, 'kay?" she murmured softly and began to head toward Panda Express.

Alex gave them both a soft lighthearted smile and a nod. "It's nice to meet you both." he said as he looked around at the dining choices there. They had an hour til the plane left and it seemed like the two couples each wanted to go to different restaurants.
"Why don't you guys go to the Panda Express and Cira and I will go to Taco Bell? We'll meet back here in half an hour and go from there to get everything taken care of for the flight." he suggested looking from them to Cira and then back to them.
He wished they were already in Vegas so very badly. He wanted to surprise Cira with his gift he got for her just the day before. He knew she would love it more then anything she's ever gotten her whole life; other then KITT or KARR; when he was still good at least. Then again maybe he was giving them too much credit.
He looked at Matt and Carwen as she started walking off. "So your dad works with NEST? Who is he? If you don't mind me asking." he asked, curious about people that Cira worked with.
