Hammerfist sped onto the thick sand of the beach. He chose his usual wandering time to be the middle of the night, so that there'd be less chance of humans either seeing him if he chose to go into robot mode, or them trying to break in and steal him in vehicle mode. He came to a stop, sliding a little as loose sand shifted and slid underneath thick, knobby tires.
He came here to think. It had been a while since he landed on the eastern shores of the U.S., and traveled the country's entire length following the distress signal he picked up all the way in Norway, the place he usually referred to as home. But he was here now, and for the most part, there was no fighting to do.
Nothing had changed for him, except the weather.

Arcee was taking a cruise by the beach of Tranquility when she got a new energy signature on her scanners. She turned to a stop in the parking lot of the beach and saw the lonesome car sitting in the loose sand. She was rather interested, it gave off a cybertronian energy signature, she revved her engines as she approached Hammerfist and pulled up on his passenger side. "Anyone home?"

Hammerfist remained still as he scanned the motorcycle that had pulled up beside him. It appeared as a friendly to him, and he blinked his headlights a few times before he spoke. "Didn't expect to run into anyone here, friendly or not." He said.
"What brings you to the beach?" asked Hammerfist.

"Just cruising around the city really. SO whats your name?" Arcee asked as she pulled into a park and revved her engines, her scanners watching the ocean waves come in and crash and then receed back into the ocean. The peaceful setting and calm wind made the beach a very nice place to be this night. Other times Arcee had visited it was either too hot for her to stand or it was to cloudy, but tonight the weather was perfect.

Hammerfist backed out of the sand to follow Arcee. If he stayed in the sand too long, he'd have to transform to get out, and there was no telling who might be taking a night-time stroll along the beach. "The name's Hammerfist." he said. "Yours?" he added shortly after. The only sound coming from him besides his voice was an electric fan running under the hood. He had been driving all over the city to get a lay of the land before he eventually decided to settle at the beach for the night.

"Arcee, pleased to meet ya Hammerfist. You a new recruit for Optimus?" Arcee parked and revved her engines lightly because well she couldnt really do anything else in her alternate mode except rev her engines and drive really fast, which didn't bother her at all.

"Likewise." said Hammerfist. "I came here to answer a distress call I picked up back home. Then once I got here, I was told the whole lot of 'em packed up and headed to New Jersey to group up at the NEST base." he added
"Funny thing is, I drove through there on my way here, where I though the distress call was coming from, and missed 'em."

"Distress call? That's interesting....I guess Prime never informed me that he was sending another distress call for more Autobots." Arcee scanned the ocean again interested in the water and how it moved, but quickly lost interest in the ocean it was a peaceful evening but it was also boring at the same time.

"I think it may have been his first one. I was supposed to have landed in California with Prime and the others, but debris knocked my pod off course and I ended up all the way in Norway." said Hammerfist, with an accent that would vouch for his story. "So when I finally got the call, and realized that I had landed in the wrong place, I decided to take it, because there wasn't much for me at home other than fighting no-name Decepticons on cold, wintry nights."

"I see, man Norway is sure a long way away from here. I wonder what made you wind up all the way over there." Arcee believed his story because of the accent he had, she scanned the roads and found a car coming down the road way and she immediately put up her holoform to keep the human driving the car from getting suspicious of why there was a empty motorcycle with its engines running. After it passed she removed the holoform and waited for Hammerfist to reply.

"Like I said, debris in space knocked my pod off course. At first when I landed, I thought I was in the right place, but found it kind of odd that there weren't any other Autobots in the area. Well, those that I know of." he said.
"I figure from the hearsay I've witnessed that all the action has been happening here in the United States, and some in Egypt."

Arcee chuckled mildy as Hammerfist spoke, being herself she hadn't realized he already told her what made him land in Norway. "Yeah, most of the action is here in Tranquility and in Egpyt where the rumored Tomb of the Primes is located. So if you want action you came to the right place."

"Well, here's hoping the Decepticons here chose sturdier vehicles than little European cars." he said with a deep chuckle that caused the frame of his vehicle mode to bounce on its suspension a little. "Speaking of which, are there any Decepticons that one should be wary about?" asked Hammerfist. Part of him wanted to get a better feel for the opposition, and the other hoped they were particularly strong and would offer him a new challenge.

"I only wish the decepticons had weaker vehicles here, some of them are so hard that a single bullet at full power cannot penetrate them." Arcee revved her engine lightly and then began to answer Hammerfist's second question, "Well so far the only Decepticon that I have met and would need to worry about is Jetstorm, he's kinda a loner. He wants to rule the Decepticons himself and even took Megatron's son prisoner to attempt to reach his goal. He blew a few attacks towards me and I suffered some fairly good sized damage.

Sounds like the standard fare of Decepticons out here is a bit more hardy than those out home. he thought. Upon hearing her story about this "Jetstorm" fellow, he figured that one with ambition like that would come packing some serious power. Unless he were the sneaky type, and judging from the fact that he simply kidnapped someone to attempt his goal pointed him in the direction of a forceful type.
"Tell me, if a bullet doesn't hit hard enough, how do you think a hammer would fare?" He asked.
