"Yeah, I know." Monica said about the powers comment. She took his hand when he offered it and stood up. "Thanks." she said. She wondered why a transformer needed to be near in order for Daniel to use his power. "Okay." she replied curious to know what his power was.

"I take it Chris showed you his power?" Without the tree for him to lean on, Chris stood tall, his long dyed hair hanging down the side of his face, slightly farther than his ear. He smiled. "No problem. Megatron may be my father, but I've been raised by a foster family who is big on manners." He shrugged his shoulders.
When she gave her answer, he smiled. "Good because I would have told you anyway." He paused. "My power is nothing like Chris's. He has amazing strength just like Uncle Optimus Prime, and he also has energy blasts." He shook his head. "Although I envy his powers, I also enjoy having mine. They come in handy, especially when trying to escape from a battle." A smile of mischevious then landed a spot upon his lips. "Or escaping body guards." Daniel replaced his smile with a sincere face. "I'm able to sense the location of Autobots and Decepticons near. And techno organics for that matter, but that requires some concentration. I can also put names on them." |

A black F150 super crew pick up truck with an extended cab casually came rolling up to the look out, an eerie yellow scanner pacing in and out just above the grill below it's hood. Up ahead, he saw one techno-organic and one human. All though they looked human, KARR knew not to be deceived. After scanning them thoroughly, it was pretty obvious.
The male techno-organic caught the Decepticon's interest. However, he was not aware of his connections with Megatron, though his advanced processor suggested this possibility. And that puzzled him. He knew the bots occasionally mated with humans in times of peace, which ultimately confused and semi-disgusted KARR, but he didn't necessarily care.
Right now, KARR was just moseying around, not really concerned about KITT possibly being near, and wasn't even looking for him right now. A couple yards away from them, he slowly rolled to a stop so as not to alarm them. All that they would hear behind them is the faint humming sound that came from his pacing scanner.

"Um...you could say that." Monica said. She chuckled when he said he would've still told her. "Does that mean you sneak out all the time?" she asked in response. "That's awesome." she said when he told her his power. She thought that was a cool power. You wouldn't have to guess if the bot you were dealing with was good or bad, which she figured came in handy a lot.

He smiled when she started speaking. "By your tone, I take it he was forced to show you. I take it my father's plans." Daniel sighed deeply. "That's Father for you." Shaking his head, he suppressed a laugh. At her next question, he shook his head. "No, I don't have a body guard. I mean I see Autobots and Decepticons flying around me as if they're checking in on me, but I don't know if they're just moving around, or checking in or me." His shoulders shrugged up in response to his question, as if it wasn't a big deal. Because, to him it really wasn't.
Then he sensed a presence. His eyes narrowed, and he sighed, heavily. His teeth grinded together, and he grabbed Monica's arm, pulling her with him. Daniel ran, letting her arm go, and talked while running. "There's a Decepticon on the scene, you need to get out of here."
He then pointed his hand in the opposite direction of the Decepticon. "If we get split up, run that direction." His hand pointed towards two large trees. "If need be, I'll keep the Decepticon distracted. He may be your enemy, but he's my father's soldier, and I don't think he'll try to kill me."
He then grabbed her arm again, and pushed her in front of him, and pushed her along, he also running. |

The black 4x4 watched Daniel tense as he directed Monica away from the look out.
KARR was but a couple yards away now. "Do not tense, I'm not looking to fight anyone." KARR's eerily steady, cold voice echoed in their eardrums-a voice much like Optimus Prime's ((they have the same voice actor, so i decided to keep this fact!)). His scanner was much like KITT's but more of a bright yellow, paced in and out as it always did. "Everyone needs a break...who are you? Your 'readings' are interesting..."

When Daniel grabbed her arm, she followed him. Hearing his words, she sighed. Why did Decipticons pop up everywhere she went? "Okay." she replied. When he grabbed her arm again, she ran again. When the 'con spoke she ignored it. She didn't really find his words that convincing to do anything different.
