Cira Knight was out free running again, practicing Parkour. Cira was never the type to sit still for long. The rock song People are People by Dope blared loudly in her ears as she jogged. Seeing one Subaru and a much larger Ford Explorer parked next to each other in the drive way of some random, small-ish duplex, Cira attempted to judge the distance between them as she picked up the pace. Before she even got close she knew just how she was going to jump over them.
Unlike normal humans, Cira NEVER bothered going around an obstacle. She always found a way to climb, jump, or in many cases vault over them. The Subaru was short enough that with her skill, she could easily perform a normal vault or a "kong" over it.
Moments before she should have run around the SUV, she actually planted her hands down on the vehicle as lightly but as surely as she could. With pure strength and momentum, she pushed herself up into a long jump, pushing herself up and over, swinging both her legs forward, clearing the SUV in one swift motion, almost immediately letting her hands push herself off the vehicle-her hands planeted almost in the center of the hood. Cira tucked her legs a bit and planted herself firmly in between the cars after lifting off her hands. She carried her momentum and swung her body forward, tapping onto the much larger vehicle and did a move similar to the kong over the vehicle. Instead of her legs being mostly tucked close to her while she jumped, her legs were out behind her.
Cira landed, and slowed back down to a jog. She carried on, minding her own business, enjoying the music.

He saw a girl doing crazy stunts. He was suspicious, so he looked around for some decepticons. He ran up the girl and tapped the girl's shoulder. He said, "That is dangerous.. you should stop.." He drank his water bottle and continued to ran and replied, "What brings you so early outside.. young lady.." He smiled and said, "I am Alexander Matthew Stevens.." He kept his hand stretched out waiting for a handshake. He then turned his ipod on and he was blasting the song Rainism by Rain. He kept one headphone off because he didn't want to be rude.

Cira stopped short after she continued running away from the two vehicles, seeing someone who looked in the same age group as her approaching, out for a jog as well. She was a bit surprised when he stopped her. She barely heard him telling her what she was doing was dangerous, but she read it on his face anyway, taking an ear bud out as well as she did so, her own music still playing, but she turned down the volume.
She smiled back and returned the handshake. "I'm Cira Knight. Nice to meet you. That wasn't dangerous. That was parkour." she joked. "Nice weather for a run, isn't it? Do ya live around here too?"

He looked around and wanted danger right now which was new.

"Yea I live around here, but I spend the other third to half my time on base." she replied. "Parkour is, basically a mix of free running and outdoor gymnastics. It's the practice of moving over obstacles the most efficient way possible, like what I did back there. I've been practicing that and Kenpo Karate since I was about 11 years old...I practically never walk around obstacles any more just because I can." she said, gesturing back at the cars.
And then she realized...Alex had the same name as the ex boyfriend she'd had in high school. Granted, this guy seemed totally different, but...Cira's face warmed slightly, remembering him well. Images of her ex-guardian KARR also began to flash through her mind. They were the faintest of memories, but still hit a sensitive spot in her conscience. She glanced away, semi-distracted by her memories.
"So uh...do you jog and stuff a lot too?"

For me.. I only know how to breakdance and popping.." He did the break dance move called freeze. He was so used to girls being all crazy about him. He loved exercising. He said, "So.. you are flexible right?" He got out of the freeze position and did some flips and he replied, "I did karate too and I am in black belt 2nd degree." I did it for like 6 years. He said, "So.. you should teach me.."He winked at her.

Cira grinned when he performed the break dance move. "Break dancing, fun stuff. That's a nice move there. I do it occasionally." Yep, she'd seen it done before, but only on certain occasions, and she didn't go to dance clubs that much or anything.
Cira paused to do the exact same move, it was something she did in parkour practice from time to time as well. Not being far away from a random tree before the sidewalk, Cira ran up to it and planted her hands on the tree before swinging around, jumping up and spinning off the tree, like it was a cart wheel (its easier to understand if you watch some videos on youtube).
Walking away from the tree, she replied: "2nd degree, huh? Nice, I am as well!" I got my first degree just after high school. Yeah you need a considerable amount of flexibility, just like break dancing. But it's not a forbidden art or anything." Cira folded her arms and smiled briefly.

Basic top rock was the steps to start anything to get momentum. He said, "What do you mean by forbidden art?" He was confused. He smiled greatly and said, “We should hang out more often at the park or something..”

Cira bowed and thanked him after Alex clapped. She watched him pull some semi-basic break dancing moves. I should work on that more. It's just as fun as parkour. she thought. " Forbidden art...Weeell maybe that wasn't the right word," Cira said sheepishly, running a hand through her hair. "I mean, I was tryin to find a fancy way of saying that it's just like any martial arts. Anyone can do it if they put their mind to it. I'm actually going to the park to monkey around on the play-ground. Good place to practice."
She grinned and did a standing flip (yes, its totally possible to do-someone did in the video I posted before). Cira straightened up, her grin turning into a calm, a bit more genuine smile. "So if you wanna tag along and learn some basic vaults and stuff that's fine by me. Being a break dancer, you should catch on quickly."

[/font] Alex looked at his phone to check if he was busy. He was free as a bird. He replied, "Fine the park it is.." Alex saw her doing a standing flip and he does a pike. He replied, "Hopefully yes.." He said, "You may lead us to the park.." He was being quite a gentleman. His song on the ipod was How do you sleep by Jesse McCartney.. It was on shuffle.

"All righty then." Cira's smile faded as she put on her game face again. She kept the second ear bud tucked in her shirt so she could hear him in case he had to speak up on the way there. Cira took the lead and a few yards ahead, she grabbed the sides of the trash can and did a long vault called the 'kong'. Her feet tucked up to her chest, she propelled herself over the trash can and landed lightly. She continued to run, going at a steady pace to make sure Alex could keep up with her.

Cira's ipod changed tracks just after she performed the vault, playing Blut Royale by Combichrist. Walking at a fast pace, looking around for potential obstacles to practice on, she didn't really notice Alex winking at the other girls-or cared, for that matter. Simply put, she knew when a guy was attractive, which she was, she was just never in a hurry to jump on the...opportunities, and it was merely because she was tomboyish in nature---that didn't mean she wasn't interested in relationships or anything.
Cira slowed her jog and replied, grinning briefly at Alex: "Yeah. The Kong. It's a pretty easy move. There are different versions of it. That was the simplest. There are other versions that allow you to jump over much higher, larger stuff stuff. It's also called the cat pass or monkey vault-I've always heard people call it the King Kong Vault though. The kong for short, as we know it. There are about 5 or 6 different type vaults."
She picked up the pace again, knowing they'd reach one of the smaller playgrounds tucked away in this particular subdivision. It wasn't the biggest, but it was still good, and it was closer to the edge of downtown Tranquility. Cira would decide whether or not she wanted to continue later after she mosied around on the playground a bit. "Down town is way better in terms of obstacles. Around here you sometimes have to make an effort to find stuff to do." she shrugged. Accelerating a bit, she did a random cartwheel type spin, all though she ended up spinning more horizontally than vertically like a typical cartwheel-which was what she intended to do. She spung back up.

[/font] Alex followed her and just saw her doing he rmoves. He said, "Go anywhere you feel like.." He said, "That is so cool.." He was confused of how much she knew about parkour. He just agreed with whatever she said. He didn't know any of the terms. He just nodded. He felt someone's aura and said, "Uh... let's pick up the pace a little.."

"Hehe, nothin to it, thanks.... Cira scratched her head for a second before jogging forward at a faster pace. "Okay! When we get there I'll show you the different types of vaults. " The park was a few blocks away. She did the kong over another empty trash that didn't have its lid and then tucked into a roll and rolled a few feet before bouncing back up. Just because she could.
A few minutes later, they got to the park. The entrance had a few metal bars near where people parked their bikes. Cira did a dash vault over the bars, which were about waist high with her. Jumping feet first over the bars, she then pushed off with it just to make sure she cleared the jump and then landed a foot after it on the grass. "That was a dash vault," she said.
