Chris grinned a bit swiming towards the shore a bit, he didn't get near enough to Prime, but was next to him, floating. "Yeah you're right... I mean you've always just looking out for what's best for me." He then added with a chuckle "After all, had you not shown up, I'd have flunked Junior Year with my science homework." After all, what better tutor then a giant robot/walking super computer? That's what Chris figured anyway.
He thought for a minute, then looked at Prime wit a look of curiosity. "I still don't get why you chose to be my guardian though." He noted teasingly "I mean being a leader, I'd think you'd protect more important people."
Of course this wasn't to say he didn't know he was an important part in the mech's life. He knew that just by the way he was protective of him. You could say it was just child-like curiosity. Something Chris was sometimes known for even being 18 years old.

Sakina nodded. She she might have someone to go with to see the Meteor Shower. She probably wouldn't have gone if she had to go by herself. She didn't like the whole idea of being in the woods by yourself at night, it always remnded her of those Jason movies.
She nodded to Laula. "Sure do. And yes I do Blitzy." She then reached into her backpack and pulled out her map of the forest. "I came prepared." She then pointed to a part of the map. "This is where we are," she then touched another part of the map that wasn't too far away from where they were. "And this is where we need to go. The meteor shower doesn't start until midnight. So we'll have to go while everyone else is sleeping which will be after the bonfire. You guys up for it?"

Laula squealed quietly and began to bounce a little. She giggled happily and cuddled against Sakina's side without really thinking about it. She just looked excited and she was bouncing a little. She looked over at the other two and grinned happily. "Yeah, after the bonfire! Hey...what happens during the bonfire?" she asked softly, looking curiously confused.
Her blanket had now tangled itself around her legs, meaning that if she tried to stand up, she would completely fall over and hit her head, possibly injuring herself. Instead, she kind-of cuddled more against Sakina and chirped, in a way. "Hey, were aren't gonna tell the Autobots, right? And if we aren't, how we going to get past 'Hide?" she asked very softly, as if afraid the Weapons Expert would hear her.

KITT listened to Blitz and Sakina talking about the meteor shower. He had a built in GPS so if anyone got lost he would know where to go without needing any extra help. KITT almost never got lost. If they did have a bonfire, he kind of wanted to be around for that, but if there was going to be a meteor shower tonight, perhaps he'd have to wait a night. He knew Kit (Jetta) liked staying up late so maybe he'd take her, Kim and whoever else to find a good location.
Kit/Jetta rubbed her hands together once the last of the wood was moved to the site. She threw the tarp over it. "I got it from my dad's cabin." she said with a smile. "He gave me a generous amount since he knew we'd be having a long camping trip. Well now that we're done, we can go have fun getting lost!" she said a bit sarcastically. Jetta grabbed a black hoody from her bag. She threw her stuff into her two person tent and zipped it up.

Optimus stared across the lake, his optics observing the way the sun reflected off the water. "Usually leaders know best." His optics trained down to look at Chris. "The same as fathers." Sure he considered Chris a son to him, but that said nothing, not really. As Chris talked about his science homework, Optimus chuckled.
Optimus sighed. Chris still had a lot to learn. "You are important to me. Anyone can be a hero, Chris. Remember that." Standing up, Optimus looked back down at Chris. "Now come on, I don't need the others worrying." Chris would know Optimus was playing around, as he smiled after the words were out.
Blitzy nodded as Sakina provided a map. She pulled it towards her, her hand tracing the quickest route that would be easy to muster. "We'll have to go around this way. It'd be too easy to get lost if we just go straight through the woods in a straight line." She then pushed the map towards Sakina, and caught Laula's question.
Blitzy never was really at a bonfire, but that didn't say she did not know what one was. Of course she knew! "A bonfire is just like a campfire except it's bigger. You are with your friends, chatting, telling scary stories," Blitzy then turned her gaze to the two females. "Don't even think about telling any. I can't stand them." Pausing, she recalled where she was just saying. "and everything else. Trust me Laula, it's a lot of fun." She then looked back to the group still around the camping area. "I think we should be heading back now. And yes Laula, we're not going to tell the Autobots, or Megatron. And we'll find a way. This is where years of playing war games comes in handy." Offering a smile, the female started to walk back towards the large group. |

Chris grabbed his shirt and hopped out, pulling on his t-shirt. He climbed, with gentle and quick movements onto Optimus's shoulder as the Autobot leader stood up. This was a normal perch for him, not that Optimus ever seemed to mind. "Yeah, I guess you have a point. If I wasn't important you would have ditched me long ago." He joked.
"You've been reading my stories again, haven't you?" He jested, pointing out how the heroes comment sounded like his characters old saying 'There's a hero in all of us'.

Ironhide woke up, he figured he'd do some patrol around the camp, it was getting dark and he didn't want anything happening during the dark hours. He then transformed into his car form and began to drive around the camp site.

"Easy Laula. We're gonna be sneaky." She said in reply to Laula's question. "You can deff count on me not telling scary stories. Scary stories creep me out too." She then shuddered. "But I can't speak for everybody else though. And yes, it will be totally awesome!" She then clapped with glee.
He eyes widened, she hadn't known that KITT was listening to their conversation. "Lost, what are you talking about?," She asked KITT, she thought that she'd at least try to play dumb, just to get KITT off their back. If KITT knew that they were going to try to see the meteor shower then she wuld surely tell on them. "Oh, this?," she pointed to the map, "This is just a um.... Game.... The Forrest Game..... The object of the game is to.... Um..... Be the firts one to the meteor shower.... but you have to get passed all of the obstacles and everything. You know, just like candy land." She said to KITT. "See?" She then dug into her bag and pulled out some game pieces, she was glad that she had brought some of her actual games.... Like candy land. She held up one of the yellow Ginger Bread Man pieces. "No getitng lost here." She rambled on nervously. She then ginned sheepishly.
"But game over, Laula won.... Right Laula?" She winked at her signaling to play along. "But yeah, we should go." She nodded to where Blitzy had walked off to. "Lets go Laula." She nodded to Laula. "Um. We'll talk to you later KITT." She said to KITT as she got up to follow Blitzy, pulling Laula with her. " We have to make a new plan. Now that KITT knows what were planning, she'll surely tell on us, or at leats try to stop us from going." She said to Laula and Blitzy once they were out of earshot.

Laula whimpered and pulled into Sakina's side. "I don't like scary stories! They give my nightmares and freak me out!" she whimpered quietly and tried to hide, even though no scary stories had been told.
She shifted a little and jumped when she heard KITT, turning slightly. She stared at KITT, kind-of just listening to what Sakina said, and she nodded enthusastically with a smile. "Yep! It was my first time playing too!" she responded and then quickly followed after Sakina.
She had to be sneaky, huh? Laula grinned at that. Hey! She could be sneaky when she wanted to be! Walking over, she suddenly smiled. "We would already have to avoid patrols anyway, so why not just add KITT to the list? We can be super-sneaky," Laula commented slightly, pitching her voice low.
