When Chris awoke in the middle of the night, he inadvertently let out a scream. His face drenched in a cold sweat, he had had the vision again, and as per usual it was at night. However, the dark figure... He hadn't been dormant this time... This time, it had... Tried to kill him. Or at least, that was what it looked like he had tried to do.
The teen could only hope he hadn't woken anyone up doing that. He looked over, David, from what he could say, was asleep on the other side of the room. Chris sat up calmly, even though it had been nothing... That had scared the living daylights out of him. What was that all about? Was all he could, albeit silently, think to himself.
He didn't know whether or not that was a nightmare... A vision... Or some kind of warning, and he wasn't sure, in all honesty... That he wanted to know.

The sound of a scream rang through the Autobot leader's sensors. Within the Autobot hangar, all was quiet, and the base had a sort of habit of echoing, so it wasn't that hard to miss. And, he wasn't 'sleeping'. Right now he was all ears. Which didn't bother him, he had been restless lately with the attack on Chris.
Headlights came on, and the Transformer drove out of his parked position, soon transforming into his robot mode, where he made it to the home of the scream. His mind was racing with conclusions. Decepticons were attacking the base. Something went wrong with one of the weapons. And other crazy ideas, if you could even call them crazy.
Turning the corner, Optimus Prime finially reached his destignation. Slowing, he entered the room, his optics searching out what had caused the scream. They lay on David, still asleep, before darting to Chris, who was sitting up. The Autobot leader approached his eldest son, and leaned down beside him, his voice talking in a whisper. "Are you OK?"

Chris jumped slightly, but turned to see Optimus bending down to him. This was slightly embaressing to him, Optimus hadn't had to come into his room like this since he was a little kid. Well, that had been the only time he could until now but that was beside the point.
He sighed, he thought of what Ratchet had told him. He knew it was stupid to keep hiding the truth from Optimus. By not telling him, he was probably making the worry worse he figured.
Because he had had the visions, he had gotten little sleep. Some days, he had gotten no sleep at all. Oftentimes he could even be described as the 'Walking Dead' when he woke up in the morning. He sighed, looking at Optimus.
"Physically? Yeah, I'm fine..." Chris commented in a hushed tone, pulling on his t-shirt "But Dad, we need to talk." He gave a facial expression that explained it meant alone. He didn't want David to know what was going on, period.

As Chris jumped, Optimus mumbled a small sorry for startling him. He hadn't meant to, as Chris would know. After all, he knew his father. The two brothers had spent the first few years of their life on Cybertron, until their mother died. He shied away from the memories, not wanting to remember the death of Chris's mother. It still pained him with the memories.
As Chris answered, Optimus nodded. If his son wasn't hut physically, then atleast Prime could rest better at night. Or atleast so he thought. When Chris said that the two of them needed to talk, Optimus Prime nodded, and saw Chris's expression. "Hmm, well we can talk outside if you wish?"

Chris climbed out of bed, luckily he slept with his jean shorts from the previous day, and as such as he climbed out of it, he was fully dressed. He sighed, brushing himself off a bit, and looking up. "Yeah, outside would probably be a good idea." He commented "I really don't want David to hear what I have to say... It's..." He looked over his shoulder at David before continuin "It's just sort of something he doesn't need to be involved in."

Optimus nodded, and went to wait by the door for Chris to come. As the teenager climbed out of bed and approached him, Optimus looked over to him, and listened to his words. "I understand." He led the way out of the room, his robot form almost as tall as the ceiling.
From time to time he would glance behind him to make sure Chris was still there, and avoided the Autobot hanger figuring that if any of the Autobots were still awake and not in stasus mode, then they'd be curious why their leader was walking around NEST with Chris following them. If Chris hadn't wanted David to come, then he figured that he hadn't wanted any of the Autobots to hear either.
As he reached the door, he pushed it opened and allowed his son to go first. Then he followed, and felt a small breeze blow through his face. It would have felt nice, if he had been human. Once the doors were closed, he turned to Chris. "Now, what's this you want to tell me?"

Chris bit his lip as he thought calmly. How could he explain this to Optimus without freaking him out too much? He had to put this in both a blunt and gentle manner he figured. That was not an easy accomplishment, but it ws the best way of telling his Father.
He sighed, then looked up at his Father with a slightly calmer look on his face. "I'm starting to see things... Like Sam did... I have been since I reunited with Bumblebee last year." He said with a soft tone "And I'm also getting visions, ones that Ratchet thinks... Could be of Primus and Unicron."
His teeth clenched and he became apprehensive at the thought of what had happened in the vision that night. "I screamed tonight... Because in my vision this time, the one.. We think is Unicron, attacked me." He then added "But the scary thing is I swear I could feel him attacking me." He then added "I think it's a warning, because the one I'm almost positive is Primus... Is always trying to tell me something that I can't hear."
It was obvious through his speach patterns, as well as his facial expressions that he was deeply frightened. The visions were becoming more frightening by the day, and he didn't know what to do. And that last one, he just didn't see it coming at all.

When Chris joined him, Optimus lowered himself to the ground, to match Chris's height more. Although that wasn't the only reason he settled down. It was out of habit, and he figured this may be a long chat. Already getting an idea it was because of some kind of dream, Optimus felt uneasy. He came to that conclusion while he was avoiding the Autobot hangar. With a quick listening with his sensors, he made sure that all was clear and the two were alone.
When Chris started, the leader listened intently, not letting a word slip past unnoticed. The words ran through his sensors, and Optimus devoured them, searching for a meaning hidden behind the lines of each. He'd learned that from talking with a few of the Autobots, how they'd not really want to report what was going on, but they coded it in a way.
"Well, Sam got his visions because he touched a shard of the Allspark. Did you happen to touch one?" But the thing that worried the leader the most was not the visions, but the visions characters themselves. Primus and Unicron? Well that was like Optimus Prime and Megatron, only the two were like gods. The gods and demons of the Transformer world. Who was stronger, Fallen or Unicron...

Chris sighed, he could tell his Dad was worried. This was something he was scared of. Partially the reason why he hadn't wanted to tell his Father anything. He sighed, looking at Optimus calmly. He sat on the ground and leaned gently against the massive robot, he didn't know if it was one of his hips, or legs, he didn't pay attention. He just did so to have the comfort of knowing Optimus was there, and he knew he wouldn't mind.
"No, I never touched it... I wish I had for the simple reason that would explain so much." Chris replied with a shake of his head, he shivered slightly "And I don't think it's caused by that anyway, I... I really think Primus is trying to tell me something."
He looked over at him calmly, and shook his head a little."It's starting to scare me Dad... I mean that thing... Unicron or whatever it is..." He began to say "It's the most frightening feeling being around him... And even though he isn't physically here, he scares me."
It was at this poin that Chris fell silent, unsure of what else he could say. He simply continued to lean against his Father, and looked at the stars. He felt horrible for throwing all of this on him. But he knew Ratchet was right, Optimus neded to know these things, and as his Father, he wanted to know what may be bothering him. By the way Optimus was reacting, he knew that much was true.

As Chris leaned against his body, Optimus stole a glance to him. Of course the feeling wasn't like a human would feel it as, it just felt like a heated area had been placed on your skin. After all, when your metal surroundings were cool, the addition of a human body heated it up with their heat radiating from them.
"If the cube had been left untouched, then it won't be a factor." At Chris's next words, Optimus was left speechless for a few seconds. "Primus contacting you could be the cause." Memories flashed through his mind of his father, and his preachings of Unicron to his brother and himself.
He hadn't wanted to admit this, but if Chris was having visions, he had a right to know. And the fact that he was his son only made it all the more worse. "If it is Unicron and Primus in your visions, then it cannot be a good thing. My father- your grandfather, Nemesis Prime often spoke to my brother and I about the god. He talked so highly of Unicron, but I've heard tales of Primus from others too. A comparison to them from Earth would have to be your God and Saiten."
Then his gaze looked into Chris's eyes. "You have a right to be afraid of Unicron. This isn't a situation to be taken lightly. But unfortunatelly, there's not much we can do about it at the moment. Just keep me in touch with what's going on, ok?" He felt hopeless, not being able to help Chris in the ways a father should. Resting a finger on his shoulder, he did what he could only do to comfort his son. "Did... you speak with this to anyone else?"

"Good comparison from the sounds of it." Chris commented, though he did believe in Primus, because of his roots, he was raised Christian on Earth and also believed in God. They were two seperate entities he figured, two creators of two different races.
When he felt his Father's finger on his shoulder, he smiled. And looked up, he didn't know why, but his Father's touch always seemed to help him a bit. He looked up at Optimus and nodded his head calmly. "I told Ratchet the other night when I went into the med bay." He then added "He was the one who suggested Unicron and Primus actually."
He sighed, and returned to looking at the stars. "You know, we haven't done this in a long time." He recalled nights where they'd go out and watch the stars, as a means to lull him to sleep. He'd even watched a meteor shower or two whilst perched upon Optimus's shoulder. He remembered that Cybertron had gotten a lot of them.

At Chris's words about the comparison, Optimus nodded. "There's not much I know about your world. But what I do know is it reminds me a lot like Cybertron. All the fighting. It's not good." His gaze turned to the stars, and he stared into the sky. Chris and him used to do this all the time back on Cybertron, but the times have changed.
His gaze danced back to his son then. "And what did Ratchet say about them? Other than that it was probably Primus and Unicron." Still staring at his son, he studied his face. "You should get some sleep. Fate has been harsh to you, and sleep will do you some good."
He still had his finger upon Chris's shoulder, and he didn't mind. He needed sleep. All humans had, and the fact that Chris had been through a lot didn't help. He wanted to mention he was sorry about Chris's uncle, but something stopped him from doing that. He didn't want to remind his son about it. And there were the two kidnapping incidents. If Megatron got ahold of his son, then Optimus wouldn't know what to do. He seemed already lost, but he knew Earth had to be saved.

"He told me that, if it is Primus... He'll contact me in a way that I can hear what he is trying to tell me when he thinks I'm ready." Chris then smiled a bit, thinking of an old saying he had heard his Father say more then once "After all, as a very wise leader once said... 'Fate rarely calls upon us at a moment of our choosing'."
Chris eyed Optimus still leaning against is Father's body, he let out a small yawn. He considered sleep, but figured it could wait a few minutes. Though he knew before long he would most likely be asleep against Optimus. "In a few more minutes." He commented in response.

Optimus nodded. "Ratchet is a wise Autobot. He's probably right about that too. When he contacts you, let us each know. It'll probably be a warning of some sort because from what I can remember, no Autobot has been spoken to from Primus." If it was a warning about Unicron coming back, Optimus didn't know what he would do. The planet eater was defeatened before, but not by he.
Chris quoted one of Optimus famed sayings. It was true. He had to smile at that. "Fate rarely calls upon us at the moment of our choosing..." He mumbled the sentence, and allowed it to trail off. The saying was true. Usually things were just thrown at you, and you had to think quickly to conquer them. Like when Megatron attacked, and he had created the Autobots. Then there was the time when Megatron rose again, and once again, Autobots acted quickly. And now, there was another.
He nodded his head at Chris's reasoning. The blue and red robot didn't see anything wrong with just a few extra minutes. "Ok. Just make sure you get some sleep. You need it." He stared at Chris, waiting for him to fall asleep. After all, he had yawned, and a yawn meant you were tired.

When Chris heard Optimus say no one had ever been spoken to by Primus, he blinked. That somewhat took him a back a bit. What made him so special that Primus would want to be warning him? Why not warn his Father? Why would Primus be talking to him... The thought was brief, as his tired mind could not fully process the idea. "So I'm even more different then I thought I was." He commented "If I'm so different that Primus would choose to speak to me."
Chris realized his Father really was worried now. And decided to make a comment. "I'm sorry for throwing all of this on you Dad." He commented "I knew I should have waited until this all blew over to tell you." He was trying his best not to slur his speech and rather obviously failing.
