Aftermath of Tragedy [Autobots/David/NEST]

A silver 2010 stingray corvette rolled into the base of the NEST, though it wasn't a brand new looking anymore. It was strached up, dirt was scattered all over the exterior. It didn't look pretty. The corvette turned out to be Sideswipe, the master of all martial arts on Cyberton. The car slowly transformed into Sideswipe, he did look beat up. Sideswipe felt heavy burden on his shoulders, he had heard the death of chris' uncle.

Sideswipe was feeling bad enough that he wasn't there to save him. But Megatron had to be taken care of too. Sideswipe had managed to escape from the battle with Megatron in the nick of time. His optics looked at Chris then he let out what it seemed like a sigh. "I'm sorry Chris... I should've been there..." said Sideswipe, his voice quiet. Knowing that Chris might be angry at him, he got ready for the yelling or blaming from Chris.

Chris felt fury as he hear Sideswipe's voice unlike anything he had ever felt. He always cared about Sideswipe and he knew he cared about him too, but right now, he didn't care. All he could feel was anger that Sideswipe wasn't there. "This is all your fault!" He shouted, quite loudly, he didn't mean it, but all the same... Tears falling down his eyes again. "You should have been protecting him! And now he's gone because of you!" All the same, he fell against Sideswipe's leg, crying into it. In all truth he was glad Sideswipe was there, he needed him right now, him and his Dad.

Sideswipe looked of to the side. Now that Chris had blamed him, Sideswipe felt even more guiltly. But he knew, he can't be everywhere. Even though he wished it so. "Look Chris, I'm sorry... But that's the way life is... I know it's not fair. But that's where memories come from, if we don't learn how to let go." said Sideswipe, speaking in some type of philosophy-like riddle way that probably didn't even make sense at all.

"I-I know..." Chris replied, shaking his head slowly, he clutched onto Sideswipe's leg "I just don't want this to happen Sides... It wasn't your fault it was mine." He cried slightly harder "If I had been there he would have still be alive." Of course he would have been in Decepticon hands btu he'd have preffered that then his Uncle being dead.

Arsenal stood by watching the exchange between the bot and boy. He had flinched when Chris had blamed sideswipe but from Sides reaction and chris's apology he could tell it was just out of pain. The two had strong friendship, it was best if they were left with some peace. Arsenal gave Sideswipe and Chris some space, standing outside the hanger.

Ironhide sighed. He had been standing outside the dorr for a while, he had heard the whole conversation. He hated seeing Chris so depressed. He slowly stepped from out of the shadows and said, "It wasn't your fault Chris.... It was nobody's fault. Things just happen. Whether it's for the better or for the worse." He said trying to comfort him a bit. "You shouldn't beat yourself up like this."

Sideswipe gently patted Chris' back with his fingers, one of the fingers was snaped off. But Sideswipe was able to deal with it pretty well and escaped just in time. Sideswipe looked up to see two other autobots, he aknowledged them. One was obviously trying to give them space and the other one was trying to comfort. Sides was grateful for this, he wasn't exactly good with these awkward moments. But then again, he is Sideswipe, he can pull through anything. "We just have to be strong for now, and get revenge on those decepticons scums." said Sideswipe, looking down upon Chris.

"I know..." Chris commented, pulling back from Sideswipe a bit "Sorry for yelling at you, you know I didn't mean it, right?" He commented at him. Still a bit upset beyond words.
