Chris sighed, sitting against the wall of the base. He was in serious trouble since his stupid moves at the ATV Park. Needless to say, Optimus had not been happy that he had ditched his bodyguards, and went out alone and without protection. Not to mention nearly was captured and/or killed in the process. Chris had been seeing a lot more of the NEST base since then. It was a somewhat version of 'grounding'.
He sighed, resting his guitar against his chest slightly, playing a few strings. He had been playing since he was twelve, and though he didn't have much talent, he enjoyed playing. He sighed, playing a few chords to a song he had writen. It was one of the few he wrote that had no words to it. He hoped he wasn't disturbing anyone, he often did... Especially when he played his electric guitar, though right now he only had his acustic.

Lennox sat and saw the scorching sun. He was blinded and decided to take a break. He went next to the wall and saw a boy there also. He looked human but yet robot like. He said, "Who are you..?" He didn't seem to recognize this person. He said, "Are you related to Optimus Prime?" He said, "I am William Lennox more known as Lennox." He smiled and said, "Nice guitar.. I can't play anything except piano. He squinted and said, "Shouldn't we go in the shade?" He then got some water bottle that was from his pocket. He wiped his sweat with his palm.

Chris had barely payed attention to the man talking to him until he mentioned Lennox. At once, he was on his feet, and respectfully saluted the man. "Major Lennox, it's an honor to meet you." He commented, easing up he held out a hand "I'm Chris Stratos, Optimus's eldest son." He commented "But it sounds like you already figured that out."

Ironhide was sitting on on the floor of the NEST. He was utterly tired and started to nod off a bit. He needed a few minutes without the Decepticon's trying to fry his ass. Watching the off spark of Optimus Prime, known as Chris Stratos, wasn't the easiest job he's had to do. And Chris wasn't making it any easier by ditching the autobots and nearly getting himself killed. He was still nearly asleep when he heard the sound of a guitar. He figured it was Chris because if any of the other Autobots tried to play a guitar that it'd break in an instant. He stodd up and went to go tell him to stop playing but he was in no mood at the moment for arguing or yelling. So he wound up just standing there watching. |

William Lennox replied, "Noo its a honor to meet you Chris Stratos.." He held his hand to be shaked. "That is cool that you are human and autobot.." He said, "Nice guitar playing.." He heard another bot coming and said, "Oh.. I wonder who this is.. " Lennox recognized the armor before but didn't remember the name...

"Probably another bodyguard Dad told to look after me." Chris said as he shook Will's hand, then turned his head "Sorry Uncle Ironhide, did I interrupt your nap?" He said so in a joking manner, but serious one as well. He always teased Ironhide because of his serious demeaner, but never really meant it in a mean way.

Ironhide was now fully awake. He then turned to Chris and said, "Me? Nap? No, I don't need sleep. I could destory those Decepticons with my cannons tied behind my back, without sleeping for days." He replied half heartedly to Chris's comment. He then turned to William's direction. "Hello Lennox."

He saw that it was Ironhide and said, "Hello.. " "Does autobots need sleep?" "We need some action..I am falling asleep.." He got bored and took out his ipod and listened to some music and the song that he was listening to was New Divide by Linkin Park. It was the ending song of the movie. He saw that the sunlight was so bothering him and said, "Ironhide can you stand in front of us.. the sun is bugging me.."

"Well I wouldn't call it sleep, they call it stasis." Chris shrugged, he didn't know much on the subject himself "It's like sleeping but they just don't... Dream." He sighed, looking at Will "You should have been in the battle a few days ago then. That was action, though not the kind of action you want to be in."

Ironhide nodded slight to Chris's reply to Lennox's questions about how autobots sleep. "Mhm... No dreaming..." He voice trailed off, he was still a little tired. He raised his eyebrow at Will's question. "Sure, whatever." He sighed. "Yes, alot of action... I even got a chance to pull out my cannons on those punk-ass 'cons."

He said, "Lucky.. I am so bored.." He saw that nothing was happening at this time. He sat and wondered when the sun will set. He looked at his watch and it was like 4:00 p.m. The time was slower than usual.

Lennox said, "Hmm.. maybe that is true.. " He laughed and answered, "That seems no fun.. almost dying.." He said, "Don't leave your bodyguards next time Chris.. smarter move.." He sounded like a parent and continued, "Oops.. my bad.." He saw that the sun was setting beautifully. He applauded and said, "Finally.. shouldn't we do some training.. to pump our bodies into shape?" He looked around the base and no one wanted to. They were all tired from the day. He said, “Hm.. maybe a little break..” He said, “Can I have some water.. I am awfully thirsty..” He licked his lips.

Ironhide nodded slight and said, "Yes, ditching your bodygaurds wasn't smart at all. I'd expect that from a child." Iromhide agreed with Lennox. "Maybe next time if that happens again, I might have to use these cannons on something else other then Decepticons." He continued on while nodded toward Chris.

"Nah, it's fine..." Chris commented to Will, he then turned his head to Irohide. He chuckled lightly, not at the first 'childish' comment, but at the second part. "Yeah I know 'hide. But face it, you could never blast at me." He pat the large burrly mech's leg "You care about me too much."
