Monica's soft whisper enters Adrien's ears as he examines the shop's vicinity. All of the tables were held in place by plastic ice cream cones, while the tables themselves were colored as brightly as ice cream flavors. The place is a wonderland, he grinned. "Oh yes!" he exclaimed loudly, as he pulled her to a secluded table. "But, my madam, I have got to point out that such a thing can not be looked at as a negative thing. Usually, a little intrigue goes a long way, don't ya' think?" he rambled on, arching his brow as the question was brought forth. "But, then again. Intrigue, who needs that when a straight up fact, say, a pair of tickets to the hottest show in town, comes up and a handsome lad asks you to go..." He pulls the tickets out of his jacket pocket, showing them to her, then bowing his head. "I mean, that is, If you want..." His discreet way of asking her out seemed to have been made a habit by his mouth.

Monica slid into her seat when they reached their table. She smiled at his yammering. It was a trait most people found annoying, herself included, but when he did it, she didn't feel that way anymore. As he subtly popped the question, her eyes widened in surprise. "Of course I'll go!" she said, grinning. "How'd you get tickets to the Plain White T's concert? I thought it was sold out a few days ago?" This boy seemed to constantly surprise her, which she loved. Spontaneity was something she rather enjoyed...

Adrien's eyes widen with a hint of glee, as she says her acceptance. Pride emitted from his very core as she asked him about the whereabouts of the tickets. He grinned, cocking an eyebrow. "Oh, I'm just that good." he says cockily. He smirked at her, blurring her every detail in his mind. He was carefree at the moment and that was how he had always like being. Brooding had never suited him, he had to say. Shaking off, the mental distraction, he looks up. "So..." he dragged, "what it'll be then?" he asked as nodded to the oversized menu above the cashier.

Monica chuckled. "Of course you are." That was another thing, his cockiness, which usually would irritate the hot-headed blonde, just amused her when it came to Adrien. It was odd when she thought about it, but then she shook herself from the thought, wanting to keep the fun vibe throughout this date. "Hmm... Well, i think I'll get.... a sundae: vanilla ice cream and hot fudge with a cherry on top." she replied, telling her order to both him and the older woman standing at the counter near by, ready to take down the orders.

Adrien grinned at her, noticing the similarity of her order with those of what she had on their last date. Sensing the glaring look of the waitress, he finally notices. "Right...Um..." he closes his mouth, not knowing what exactly it is that he wanted. "Hm...well, my very calm, and level headed waitress, I'll have chocolate." He smiles, feeling slightly accomplished. Then that smile turns into a grimace at the waitress's expression remained unphazed. "Right...er--- there are plently to choose from." A hand reaches up to scratch the back of his neck as he reads the menu at hand. "Chocolate malt, chocolate milkshakes, chocolate ice cream...chocolate cake. Chocolate pie?" He looks up again, in a questioning gaze, to be turned back down my the unamused waitress. "Right...I'll have a chocolate sundae please." he tries with a smile as he sets the menu down.

Monica kept herself from laughing at Adrien's interaction with the waitress. The poor thing was getting stared down by her. Once both orders had been taken, she watched as the two other workers made them up to give the old woman to serve her and Adrien. "Here ya are" she said dully as she placed their orders in front of them. "Thanks." Monica said, smiling at the woman for a moment. Taking a small bite she said, "It's delicious." However, her attempts to raise the awkward atmosphere the woman brought to the date were to no avail. As the lady walked back behind the counter, Monica couldn't help saying softly, "Well isn't she a ball of sunshine."

Adrien forced a smile upon his face at the grimacing server. Nodding his thanks to her, he kept his eyes on his treat. Dipping the spoon into the snack, he smiles as the sweetness touch the tip of his tongue. He nods in agreement to her statement about the taste of the presented food. His nod turns into a choking laughter, as she comments on the attitude of their fortunate waitress. "Quite right too." he smirked, trying to calm his laughing. "Although," he gulps down a big bite of slithery ice cream, "this sundae is too delicious that I might even say that I don't care." He grins at her, a small plan coming to his mind. So, he takes a small dip with his spoon upon the ice cream and pushes it toward s her. "C'mon! We can't have you missing out on this genius." he smiles, his mind going 90 miles per hour on the possible results of this forwardness.

Monica laughed at Adrien's reaction to her comment. She nodded in agreement as he spoke. When he offered a bite of his sundae, she chuckled. "Okay, I'll try it," she said, and with that, she leaned forward and ate the ice cream of his spoon. For some reason unknown to her she blushed. Unsure of why she did but not really caring, she ignored the thought. "That was delicious!" she comment with a grin.

*LOL. mild PG-13 hints.*
Adrien stared at her, holding his breath. For some reason this could totally damage their dynamic. If she didn't accept, there could be so much that is wrong. Would it be him? Is it another guy. Yeah--yeah, he can get a lot of girls but, this was different. She was different. For some reason he just came easy on her. No ideas or grand schemes has to be done to her. She just seems natural and so rare in a place where everyone is totally the same in their delusional dream of trying to be different. His breath is released as the blush spread across her cheeks, resulting from her acceptance. He was staring, unknowingly, asking what is with this girl. Why would she be so different? Why her?
Those thoughts seem to have been blasted away by that single grin. He grins too, pulling back the spoon. He dips it again, slipping it into his tongue with a little more leisure, trying to get a reaction. He smirked at his own devices. Somehow, this action really was just a step to tease her. He was and definitely is good looking. He wouldn't be the only one with the somewhat indirect approaches. Another bite was dipped into the test, this time, he took his time licking off all the last bits. "Isn't this just lovely?" he exclaims childishly, disclaiming any form of previous malice, as he looks at her with his puppy dog eyes.

Monica looked at him with a smile. What was he doing? It seemed teasing or flirting but it truly was making her want to laugh at the ridiculous act. It was like what they did in romantic comedies when the main was trying to be seductive. When his demeanor changed back to childish and playful, she couldn't help chuckling. "Yes, very lovely." she replied, smile still on her face.

(LOL sucha a funneh buuurrrnnn)
Monica showed him that smile again. Such a cheeky smile that he just wanted to wipe off with but a single kiss. Instead, Adrien restrained, trying to remain at their leisure pace. Yes, a shocker would go through the silent, evil audience in his mind as he admited that he still hadn't had the guts to kiss her. But the thing is, when he's opened up to someone, he wants that relation to develop at it's due course, not the force of some teen urge. To distract himself, he stands, walking around her as he places twenty dollars on the cleaned counter top. Then, he leans, stopping short of her ear. "Run." he whispers, a manic grin breaking out of his face. He grabs her hand, not even waiting for some sort of reply. Then runs off through the awaiting exit, not once looking over his shoulder to check upon his beloved bike.

'Huh...' Monica thought. It had looked almost as if Adrien had wanted to kiss her before he stood up. As he walked around her, she followed him with her eyes. His whisper sent a shiver throughout her body, not a scared or cold shiver but a shiver of excitement. And with that, she ran with him, not bothering to respond. Where were they going? She had no idea. Did she care? Not really at the moment, no. They only thing she felt was excitement running through her veins and that showed through the grin on her face. She didn't even notice they left Adrien's bike behind...

The wind brushed swiftly through his hair, as Adrien rushed through the busy streets, weaving his way through the crowd. He focused on every offer of this town and couldn't find anything deserving enough. All the while that he scrutinized his home town, the hand that was held tightly against his wasn't forgotten. In fact, that was the reason why he held everything against the quiet setting. To impress her. Sure, he knew that he was so impressive. But, what to her? Did she believe all that he said and all that he showed her? Can he even charm his way through her thoughts? Can he make enough of a mark on her to forget that guy that people thought she took a liking to? Cause, the school sure thought that that guy C-something, surely did. He shakes off that horrid thought and grinned at the sight of a lone fountain.
It was a block off and the traffic would stop their running rendevous. So, thinking on his feet, Adrien turned to go through the long entrance. Once the fountain was on the nearest of ways, he lets go of her, then jumps into the half-filled fountain! With his soaking jeans he grins at her and opens his arms wide. "Ta-da!" he exclaimed.

Monica's mind whirled as she took in the town flashing by her eyes. She was still clueless as to where they were headed when she realized Adrien had stopped holding her hand. Hearing his voice ring out, she looks up to see her date standing in a fountain. She laughed out loud at the sight. "What are you doing?!" she asked, a grin on her face that seemed pretty much stuck on that pretty little face of hers.

A knowing grin appeared on his face as mischief entered his mind. Adrien raised his brow, poking his tongue out of her. "Weeelllll," he drawls, getting out of the fountain sporting a soaked attire. He circled her, as if studying her every move. Then continues, "You see, our childish ways seem to be calling out to me more than ever!" With that exclaimation, he scoops her into his arms, trying hard not to let on the burden of the action to his thin persona and crashed both of them into the wet waters of the now overflowing fountain.
