Chasm, as well as his holoform, grinned at Jake. "I still think you and Red would get along well. I heard that he might be coming to Earth soon. Got word of the state of the security here, and nearly had a spark-attack." He laughed a bit, softly. "Well, you're not the only 'Christmas Newbie' around here, and I think you did an awesome job!" His holoform hugged Jake gently. Chasm always found it comforting when Jake 'cuddled' with him. It reminded him, in a pleseant way, of the family he'd lost so long ago.

"Heh, well I know I already got my present. Just having a family." Jake shrugged a bit, looking up at Chasm. He hand't asked for anything for that exact reason, he had what he wanted, and it had been given to him long before Christmas. "But still, I'm really looking forward to Christmas, just to see how awesome it is." He thought for a moment, smiling as Chasm hugged him "You know, I just realized I haven't gotten you anything yet." He shook his head, feeling he did owe Chasm something. After all he had done for him, he felt that he owed him some kind of present.

"I'm looking forward to Christmas as well." Chasm replied, grinning at Jake. "All the singing, and wrapping paper everywhere, and a large human sliding down the chimney..." He stopped for a moment. "Do we even have a chimney?" Jake's last comment made Chasm smile a bit. "You don't need to get me anything. Just like you, I already got my present, and it's so much more than I ever could have asked for."

"Heh, yeah, though I still wonder if Santa Claus really is real. I mean it's far-fetched. But hey, can't help but wonder with a bunch of giant robots living among humans." Jake replied shrugging, he did, at least for the moment, believe there was a Santa Claus. After all, as he had stated, with the Transformers around anything was possible. When Chasm told him the other comment he smiled lightly and let his cheeks turn red. "Come on, I'm not that big of a 'gift' Dad." Jake of course knew better then to stay stuff like that. There was just still a little part of him that felt that he was little more then a burden.

Chasm grinned from audio receptor to audio receptor. "We could always stay up and find out!" He suggested, wanting to see if the stories about Santa Claus and flying reindeer were true. "And you don't give yourself enough credit as a son!" Chasm's holoform moved to put Jake in a headlock and give him a nuggie. "Even seeing the skylines of Cybertron before the war just one more time wouldn't have made me this happy!"

"Heh, staying up to catch a glimpse of Santa Claus? Sound like fun!" Jake replied with a grin. The noogie however caught him off guard completely. He smiled a bit, and jokingly pretended to be trying to get out of it. "Heh, you serious? I mean, if you could exchange seeing Cybertron again for meeting me you honestly wouldn't take the offer?" He asked him, skeptically, but smiling as he did so in a joking voice.

"You bet I wouldn't!" Chasm replied, his holoform releasing Jake. "Meeting you was one of the best things that ever happened to me, and I would never trade it for anything in the Universe!" Stealing a quick glance at the TV, he saw that the credits had begun to roll. "You still going to stay up? You've got to get some sleep at some point." There was concern in Chasm's voice now. If Jake wasn't able to sleep, it wouldn't be good as it dragged on.

"Wow, I guess I underestimate how much I mean to you after all." Jake smiled lightly, when he asked if he was getting tired, he ironically yawned lightly. He was tired, very much so, but wasn't sure if he would continue to have the nightmares. "I am a little." Jake replied, going back to the position he had been in very lightly "But one more show, I think the next one's just a half hour."

Chasm smiled lightly at Jake. "Alright. Just one more, then it's off to bed with you." He tried to sound a bit like a father, but ended up laughing at how it came out, leaning back into the chair. "So, which story is this one?" He tried to make sense of it without the internet, but was failing miserably. "Is this the one about the dog who thought she was a reindeer?"

"Nope it looks like Rudolph actually. You know the one about the Reindeer with the red glowing nose?" Jake replied, he was positive Chasm knew that one. He was pretty sure Adam had explained it to most of the Autobots once. "If it were Olive, it'd be an hour long, not a half hour." He shrugged lightly, smiling lightly. "This one's a fun one too, I love it, probably a close third behind Olive and Frosty." He shrugged lightly.
