Corina smirked, "Now remember. I go hunting with my dad a lot and despite how it seems he goes right after he gets off of work so its my responsibility to get the supplies and get to the hunting spot and meet him there."[/color] She adjusted the bag and made sure the strap was over her neck and slung around and sturdy. She then looked back to KITT as he asked if he needed him to carry the bag. "No I'm fine."[/color] She began to walk in the direction across the street and into a field that was fenced off, the hillside that was exposed made it look like a plain field of native grasses but once on top of the hill a perfect mix of autumn trees and grass could be seen it was something that looked like it should be on the back of a postcard. "Allright the tent blind should be just in those trees but lets keep it quiet now, if there are deer out there on the feeder we have then we need to be as quiet and sneaky as possible."[/color] She slipped her camo face mask over her head only exposing a small slit where her eyes were visible and began to lighten her steps and began to slowly sneak down into the treeline, walking on a visible trail.

KITT nodded in response before she moved ahead. With a flicker, an extra set of cloth appeared in KITT's hand. It too was camouflaged the same way his military issued coat was and he paused to put it over his head before continuing. This was going to be interesting. He made sure the shot gun was secured. He was so glad he didn't have to worry about his holo-form. It was blended in with his true form still, and would be so much easier to maintain.
He kept his steps light and promptly followed after Corina. The grass of the field ahead of them across the road they'd crossed became taller and unkempt, and there were quite a few more shrubs and trees to hide behind. He went off the trail a bit, crouching low on tip toes, using his scanners to spot out any heat signatures or signs of movement anywhere with in a 2 mile radius of their current position. Smirking under his mask, he took the gun in one arm to keep it from hitting his back, and he ducked forward into a swift one handed roll, catching up to Corina as she walked ahead in the field. Stopping to strap the gun back over his shoulder, his red eyes flashed a bit as they got closer to the more heavily wooded area.
For now, it was quiet, but there were lots of birds and little critters scurrying around. Perhaps something interesting would pop up sooner or later, even if it was just a rabbit. Once the gun was secure, KITT crouched low through the grass like an assassin, the grass barely covering him as he moved. Sometimes he would duck lower and move across the ground army style when he detected little outside movement, but that tended to make too much noise, so he stayed low on his hands and knees. Keeping an eye on the cluster of trees she pointed to ahead, he kept moving.

Corina could see the obvious enjoyment that KITT was having in just getting to the hunting blind, crawling around the grass and doing fancy rolls to get back to his feet. She was already happy that he was enjoying himself. She too figured that getting low was a good idea, seeing that the treeline was rather thin and the field that was just ahead of them at the end of the treeline was where the blind was. She got down to her hands and knees and secured the gun strap and the bag so that they wouldn't make any noise and scare anyone off. She looked back towards KITT who was still surprisingly behind her.
Looking straight forward she heard something moving in the distant grass and dead leave combination. She stopped moving completely and froze solid like a statue. Until she realized it was just a raccoon. She laughed at herself mentally because the littlest movement scared the living daylights out of her because she always thought it was a deer coming in. Nonetheless she continued onward until she hit the tent. She slowly stood up and opened the door for KITT to enter. She looked around and made sure nothing was around while she closed the door. Now speaking in a whisper in an attempt to keep any deer from hearing her she quietly looked towards KITT. "Allright, we are here at the stand in a good amount of time so that parts out of the way. The next part is gonna be the difficult part. I need you to be able to choose a certain position and be able to sit like a statue if a deer comes. And make sure that when we are waiting to limit your movement unless its neccessary."[/color] She got the bag and put it down in the front corner of the blind and sat down in one of the two camo chairs that was in the blind and went ahead and had her gun leaning on her leg so it would be easily accessible.

"Makes sense."KITT agreed, joining her in the other chair. Putting the gun in his lap, he sat there as still as he could, his red eyes glowing through the face mask as he scanned the area. "I see lots of minor life signs scattered about the field. I'll be the first to know if anything big shows up if I keep my scanners activated. It's better than any hound dog, as you know." he skimmed the area, hoping to find something big enough to shoot, even if it was just a bunny. KITT have to calculate for wind and distance, and probably move to get close, but hat was okay-KITT intended to sneak around like he did earlier, only much, MUCH slower-even if it was a little awkward.

Corina laughed under her breathe lightly, it was obvious that KITT was excited to be out hunting and in all honesty Corina was excited as well. For the first time she knew more about something than KITT and she kinda wanted to rub it in his face but loved him too much to do that. She moved her hand from holding the end of the gun to KITT's hand and gripped it tightly. "Don't worry, I have a feeling that we will get something. And to be nice I'll let you take the shot since its your first time."[/b] She whispered to keep anything possibly out there from hearing her. She took her eyes towards the horizon and made sure to look in all directions.

KITT squeezed her hand back and sunk a bit more into the chair, trying to relax as he scanned the area in different sectors each second or two."You should probably take the shot...you know I'm hesitant to kill, especially for sport...at least I know the animal will have some kind of purpose,-the purpose of following the food chain. I certainly appreciate it though. I guess it depends on the situation."he whispered back.
KITT began to detect movement farther out, and adding IR wavelengths, he spotted a deer enter the area towards one end of the suburbia. He brought both hands to his gun, but instead of bringing the shotgun to his shoulders to check the target right away, he did it with his own eyes, using the scanners and satellite access to get a close up, and a target.
"It'd probably be more fun for you if you took the shot. I feel like I'm cheating."KITT added, being sure to keep his volume down.

Corina had also became aware of the deer's presence in the area. She had listened to what KITT had said, "I understand, I'll shoot it then, but promise me that if I do get it and it runs off that you won't use your radar imagery to find it, I think its fun searching for it afterwards."[/color]She whispeered back as she swiftly moved her hand from KITT's hand to her own gun. She leaned back up as she noticed the deer coming in towards the blind. The adrenaline was pulsing through her veins so much that she was shaking, it was like her first deer hunt all over again...and man did she love the feeling of that adrenaline. Having already had the gun loaded all she had to do was bring the scope up to her eyes and unleash the safety and take aim. She peeked over towards KITT as she waited for the deer to come into the clearing and to where she could get a better shot and smiled at him before noticing that the deer that had come out of the tree line was a buck. This buck had to have been a 4 year old by his body size, and the amount of his points only furthered that idea. Sporting a total of 12 points the buck would be a perfect trophy.
Her hands begining to shake as she knew that if she brought this home to her father he would be so proud of her. The deer however was standing behind a hill and although she had a good shot of his heart and lung area she knew that was a bad place to shoot from, so she had to wait until the deer came forwards from the hill. The deer was wary and kept eyeing the blind like he knew that they were in the blind. Corina was hoping that he wasn't going to be spooked, but when he came down the hill and towards a small patch of grasses that she had knew that deer liked to feed along she knew that now was the chance. She pulled up her gun putting the base on her shoulder and her eye in the scope. She found the point where she wanted to hit and unlocked the safety, "You might want to cover your audio receptors..."[/color] Corina whispered as she waited to take the shot because the deer was changing positions, to a perfect broad side shot. She was literally beaming with life as this was a perfect opportunity to take the shot at the deer. She aimed once again to be sure and pulled the trigger leaving a cloud of dust in the blind and the deer out of sight.

KITT wasn't really too concerned with the sound, it was almost as though for that moment she forgot he was actually a robot, and he, along with all the others, especially Interceptor, were used to really loud weapons and dealing with nasty explosions of all sorts. However, it didn't matter, so he just shrugged off the thought. KITT followed the bullet with his scanners on maximum quality. The moment seemed to move in slow motion, but then once the deer was hit, it was all over that much faster. "Nice shot. Looks like a sure hit to me."

Corina looked towards KITT and nodded, "Thank you KITT, I've had a lot of target practice, plus I have ot know how to aim because I'm your partner."[/color] With the smoke now cleared, a very visible tear in the hunting blind could be seen. It was about half an inch thick and 2 inches wide, but it was normal seeing that Corina was using a regular 30 Caliber bullet. "We outta wait a couple more minutes before we go out to look for it. There might be the possibility that it comes back around or another deer comes out. Lets give it about 10 minutes and then we'll go look ok?"[/color]

"We're going to have to put that in the back of my trailer..."he added, obviously not wanting Corina to carry it. KITT transformed into his 4x4 mode, folding outwards completely, and deactivating his holoform simultaneously. He reactivated his holoform to help her put it the deer in the back. "Obviously you can keep it, though technically holoforms can eat."KITT shrugged, having little preference.

Corina had crept out of the blind very quietly and when she saw that the deer was not far away from the blind it looked like she sure had a perfect shot to its heart-lung area. She was very proud of herself, one she had been able to get a deer without her father there and two she got to do a hunt with KITT and teach him about her favorite sport. Of course, I just hope you don't mind a little bit of blood in the trailer.[/color] She said laughing as she helped his holoform to load it into the trailer of his 4x4 mode. When she had finished putting the deer into the back of the trailer she hoped it to take a look at where the bullet went into the deer and sure enough it was a perfect heart-lung shot. "Looks like my aim has gotten better over the years KITT! I got a perfect heart-lung shot!"[/color]

He leaned against the side of his form for a bit."No, I don't mind the blood, it's a small sacrifice, trust me-I've been through worse anyway...Well, I'm ready to go when you are."
