KITT was parked in the somewhat empty hangar-it was in the early afternoon and not a lot of bots and humans were back yet from their daily routines. KITT was waiting for his adoptive son Cameron to return. The incredibly smart 15 year old was back from college. Cameron's fraternal history is...interesting to say the least-in that it wasn't because of Cira Knight and Alex Knight, but rather, Mike Knight (formerly known as Mike Traceur) and Sarah Graiman's son, which they were too busy to take of. So, with only having the Cons to worry about (pfft), KITT was willing enough to take care of Cameron for him after an accident caused by KARR. KITT didn't find it surprising, after all, KARR had killed the last of Cira's family too. Luckily Cameron still HAD his real family. KITT knew Sarah and Mike were too busy to care for him after that.
Thus KITT had obviously known Cameron for a while, and because he'd been taking care of him through out his schooling, he knew when the teen had reached his maximum performance, at least, for the time being. KITT wasn't going to let Cameron stop schooling all together-he wanted to make sure his brain stayed active and continued to learn new things...just at a slower, more steady pace-at a level that matches other kids his age, to give the cells a rest. It being Saturday afternoon, KITT was waiting for Cameron to return now to welcome him back. In the mean time though, KITT would allow Cameron to take a break for at a year if he wished.
He hoped his girlfriend Corina would show up eventually so they could meet-since they were/are partners. The mustang knew it would be awkward whenever they did meet, but it was bound to happen. He knew Cameron was a spitting image of his dad, which was...an awkward thing for KITT to consider, but the thought couldn't escape his processor. KITT and Corina were head over heels for each other, after all-and it seemed that since KARR and Blitzwing nearly killed her in that football game of theres, and now there really WAS no turning back. He'd be curious to how Cameron would react to it. Sarah and Mike's reactions were interesting enough. Sarah's reaction was mostly one of surprise, yet she'd predicted this might eventually happen at the same time because she'd continously monitored KITTs 'behavior'...Mike didn't really know what to think, and thought it was almost funny at first-and had trouble accepting that KITT really DID have emotions...
KITT pushed those thoughts aside for now, clearly occupied with these different thoughts, and the mustang's double red scanner paced in and out, pacing back and forth. He then folded down into a into his human form, a shrunken down versio nof his bot form, but refined, with the holoform completely layered over to make him look like a real human. Yet, he could sitll generate human sized versions of his Energy sword, and his plasma gun. He could still use his wings, but the other weapons made it a bit more awkward to access, but it was usually enough to manage most of the time.
He stood there and sat down near the right side of the hangar's open door, red eyes glowing briefly before dulling to a reddish brown. His holoform looking to be a year or two older than Ian, KITT wore black sneakers, black baggy pants, and a maroon shirt-the Auotbot shield was on his right shoulder where it was on his bot form, but it now appeared as a tattoo that could barely be seen. KITT pushed aside his bushy red and black bangs, and waited patiently.
[hm...im kinda wondering, it might be good to have Corina join at some point...]

(I'm guessing this is before he arrived home. And she can if you really want her to.)
Cameron stepped out of the taxi and tipped the driver with a small smile as he unloaded the trunk. Looking over at the NEST Base, he couldn't help but smile widely. Home sweet home. He had missed NEST for so long, after being away for four months, he couldn't wait to see the others again. He smiled pulling his backpack steadily over his shoulder, and pulling along his suitcase as well.
He yawned slightly, and stepped inside, using the old key to get in. His eyes turned around the room, eyeing his surroundings, very little had changed while he had been in England. At least physically. Not knowing of his Dad's human form he wasn't aware the man next to him wasn't a NEST agent and therefore looked around. I wonder where Dad is...? He thought to himself, he was positive he told KITT he would be home that day. In fact, he was positive that KITT had said he'd be up and waiting. So he had to wonder where he was.

[we can wait a bit depending on what she wants to do--what do you mean before? i just figured it was after Cameron got out of college?]
KITT noticed Cameron walked right past where he was waiting-but his expression remained blank. "Cameron. Welcome back."he greeted, moving forward to follow him a yard or so behind. His voice was the same as it was back at the new FLAG, a hollow, yet deep and mature voice. He sometimes found it fun to switch back and forth to his old Boston accent because apparently some of the humans got a kick out of it around here-and that made him wonder if Cameron had ever heard it too.
KITT stood there and tucked his hands in his pockets, waiting pateitntly. The red eyes remained a duller fire-brick color, the bright red specks dancing faintly with in. He smiled a friendly smile slightly, curious to see how Cameron would respond.

Corina had been told by KITT earlier that week that there was a special guest coming to visit him at the base, and he wanted her to meet him. She was rather intrigued that KITT has someone coming to see him, of course she had heard that this visitor meant a great deal to him so she knew that if she didn't show up to meet the guest he would probably be angry with her. She walk lightly as she pondered with thoughts on who this special guest was. Perhaps it could be Sarah or Michael from the days before he teamed up with NEST?[/color] She tried to figure out who was on the way to see KITT until she realized she was at the hanger.
She opened the door and quietly walked inside to notice that the guest was already in the room. She was a little bit embarassed as she had never been late to a meeting with someone new before but apparently she read the time he was supposed to arrive wrong or something. She recognized him a little bit just by the way he stood and for a few moments she really thought it was Michael until she got a better look at him and realized he was way shorter than Michael. "Guess I missed the greeting huh KITT?[/color]

(Sorry, my brain wasn't working properly this morning.)
At the sound of KITT's voice, Cameron slid the backpack from his shoulder, setting it down for a moment. He hadn't seen his Father in four months and quite frankly, he had missed him. As such, he half-jogged, half-ran over to KITT, hugging him tightly. "Hey Dad, miss me?" He asked with a broad smile etched on his face. He felt a bit bad inside, not even realizing his own Dad being there.
Looking over in mid embrace at the sound of a new voice, he tilted his head to the side. He had never seen, heard of, or met Corina before, and therefore, Cameron was filled with slight confusion. He was of course aware of new arrivals, and that Interceptor, who he had seen as an Uncle, had adopted. But that was about it, nothing else. I wonder who she is...? He thought to himself, letting go of him after a few moments, putting his hands in his pockets and nodding at Corina lightly.

KITT returned the hug, careful not to squeeze him to death."That I did."he replied, nodding firmly."I'm content to see you made it back safely."he added, glancing between him and Corina."Corina, this is my adoptive son Cameron Knight."his gaze fell back on Corina. He knew this would be awkward, but Cameron would have to meet her sooner or later since she wasn't going anywhere so long as she desired it. "Cameron, you've missed a fair bit while you've been out schooling...since I joined NEST I found two partners, one of which is my girlfriend, Corina."he blushed slightly, unable to help it as he lightly reached for Corina's nearest hand.
"I hope you won't find this too awkward. The three of us, the third being Danny, get along quite well.he shrugged lightly, looking back at him with another brief smile. "Needless to say, a fair bit has happened..."once this was taken care of, KITT would feel more willing to kick back and chill.

Corina was shocked when KITT introduced Cameron to her as his adoptive son. She was literally about to just gape her mouth open and blurt out "How did this happen!?" but she held herself back from that. She intstead kept her cool as she reached for the hand that KITT had stretched to her and she looked at him and thought for a moment that he resembled Michael but she stopped herself from asking if he was related to him. She only felt it was fair to introduce herself to Cameron since he probably needed to exactly who she was. "Hello Cameron. I'm Corina Rydell Torres, and as KITT said I'm his girlfriend and he is my boyfriend.[/color]

Cameron's mouth gaped open a few inches the second the words left KITT's mouth. He had to be joking, this was a bad joke, right? Yeah, that was the perfect explanation as to what the hell his Father just told him. When realization hit him that his Father wasn't joking however, he all but fell against the ledge behind him, eye twitching ever so slightly.
"Dad, how is it humanly possible you scored her?" Cameron had to mutter to KITT very softly, then turned back "Hi, uh, nice to meet you." He put his hands back in his pockets, and continued to sit on the ledge he had taken a seat on. Taking every bit of this in, not very well one might add.

KITT heard Cameron loud and clear. "That is a bit of a long story, I doubt you would have remembered her father, he passed away a bit of time before you two were born..."KITT preferred not to explain more than that, and hoped he didnt have to. He scratched the back of his neck, feeling considerably awkward, and the blush didn't fade yet. Of course, he wasn't surprised with his reaction, but that didn't mean he was surprised. If anything, he predicted it. "Well, now that the three of us are here in the same roof, we have lots of time to get reaquainted-or aquainted, depending on how you look at it."the light skin faded to normal, and the calmness about him seemed to take over him once again with a sure footing. KITT regretted nothing of course-it wasn't like he wasn't allowed to love someone, even if it was a human, and he didn't debate about it any more.

Cameron blinked didn't know her Father was right, he didn't even recognize her last name. So in other words, he was deffinently not going to know who this girl's Father was. He looked at KITT, honestly wondering if he really didn't know how plain akward this was for him. His Dad was dating someone two years older then he was, and he was acting like this wasn't akward at all. Then again, when has Dad ever understood the concept of akward? He thought to himslef.
"Yeah, I guess... We can get aquainted." Cameron nodded, though secretly not liking the idea of this at all. Especially when he was hoping to spend some alone time with KITT. Now things were just plain.. Weird.

Corina could feel the awkwardness of the moment between the three of them. It was all fine with her that she was dating KITT but it seemed that Cameron just couldn't imagine the idea of his "father" dating somone not much older than he is. She wasn't surprised he felt awkward in this position. She smiled a little bit hoping to kinda wipe some of the awkwardness away before hearing Cameron mutter how could he have possibly scored her. She really wanted to say something to him but decided against saying anything, besides it would have probably come out even more awkward or seem fairly rude to him. "I'm sure we will get along just fine."[/color] She muttered before kicking a little bit of dirt up with her shoe.

KITT observed their interactions patiently. "Now that Cameron is back, I'm going to have to divide up my time-that is a given."he said, glancing at Corina then at Cameron. He had a feeling it would take a while for them to adjust, but there was only so much he could do-Corina was his partner, Danny technically being his other partner, and that was that. KITT needed friends, and with the way he saw it, it was about time he found someone to be this close to..."So, me and Cameron will require some time together now and then, but that doesn't mean I still can't see you too, Corina."he glanced back at Cameron with a more hopeful expression on his face."Later on if you're willing enough and don't...hate each other, some our outings can be the three of us rather than one or the other. At least, that is what I'm hoping for..."
It wouldn't be that bad really-KITT was determined and patient enough to see to it that this worked out in the end. He just really hoped this whole news didn't completely scare Corina away. KITT really felt complete with her, and he wouldn't feel the same if she decided to drift away one day.

Cameron mentally sighed in relief when KITT talked about dividing time. He had never experianced the mech he considered his Father, even if Mike Knight was his real one, dating before. But he had been a bit scared that he would be spending much more time with Corina then he would with him. Truth be told, Cameron did have some abandonment issues. He loved his real parents, but he really did feel very abandoned when he had been left in KITT's care at age one.
This had always been a primary issue for Cameron, doing his best to hide such issues, though he was pretty sure that KITT was aware of that. After all, his Dad's former partner had raised him for most of his life. In truth, for that matter, it had been Mike and Sarah's idea to send him off to college, not KITT's. Cameron had wanted to go, had been excited, but the stress had been too much.
Realizing he had spaced out during his musing, he snapped himself out of it calmly. Looking over at KITT with a small nod. "I understand you two needing time together just as much as we do Dad." He smiled gently, showing he was ok with, it, it just required getting used to. He then added. "It should be fine. But giving it some time would deffinently be a smart idea."
(OOC: I think I got the history of his adoption or at least going by how you fleshed it out correct. But just tell me if I didn't.)

[yeah that sounds about right]
KITT nodded, looking a bit more content (since one often couldn't tell in his voice with as emotionless as it usually was). "Indeed. Actually, I've got some fantastic news for you...but it's a bit of a surprise."
KITT was already wondering to how Cameron would react when KITT told him Mike and Sarah were slightly expanding FLAG and were moving close to the outskirts of NEST. Cameron and his parents had an awkward relationship since most of the early years had been spent consistently doing missions and/or working on Interceptor. Cameron began to run into trouble at 8 because of KARR having much more power, and it didn't stop there. KITT was able to protect him, but after a while, Mike told KITT he was sick of hardly having any time to even help protect him, standing by and watching. Plus there was the fact that Mike never appreciated KITT stealing all the action. So Mike decided it was time for some change and wanted to move closer. They had enough money between them money he'd saved and what Sarah's dad to do so.
"Even Corina doesn't know. I learned about it just earlier this week. So what I think we should do is pick a day to visit together, the three of us, and then a day for just the two of us, and so forth. We could go to the movies, find a skate park, bowling, do laser tag, whichever; I've little preference of course."
KITT actually planned that in one of these group visits, Mike and Sarah were going to show up. Sarah wouldn't be there long, but both had clearance to access NEST because of Cameron, KITT, Cira, and Interceptor, and Mike would be visiting fairly frequently since he was shifting into a more steady job and was saving strictly for the family...

Cameron's eyebrow raised a few inches, looking at KITT with confusion. What kind of surprise could he be talking about? His eyes looked for a moment, then thought. There was a number of things it could be. Mike and Sarah visiting topped the list but Cameron quickly shook the notion off, he never got his hopes up about anything like that. There were lots of promises on the part of both, lots of empty promises. So many he had just stopped getting his hopes up. The last time Mike himself ever kept his word was the first day of college, when he helped him move in.
There were reasons, various as they were, that Cameron would not have believed KITT had he told him they had moved to be closer to him. Whether it be abandonment issues or otherwise. "Well, you know how I like surprises." He commented simply "If I know anything you don't call news 'Fantastic' for no reason at all." He smiled lightly.
