Adam sighed, sitting in his small, rather cramped cage quietly. His eyes looking around at the many onlookers. All around, the thirteen year old could see all the horrible things being done. Little children being led off in collars and leashes sometimes being carried. Toddlers carried in the arms of buyers, likely being brought off to be raised as human spies. Adults and older teenagers being led off in grungy uniform sometimes in chains, quite obviously soold for slave labor... It was all sickening, truly sickening.
"Damn it all, I want out of this hell hole!" Adam shouted loudly, though he only got passing glances from Decepticons "What gives you the right to do this to us huh? Answer me!" He shouted loudly. When no response came he sat back down, and hugged his legs to his body, letting tears flow down freely.

KARR's holoform, clad in almost all black save for the camouflage t-shirt underneath his leather jacket which couldn't be seen well, KARR was browsing the Decepticons' Black Market, curious to see what it was all about. Going into the areas where they were apparently selling humans, he grew more curious, remembering the time Goliath and Megatron ordered him to keep Chris as a pet because Goliath was 'too busy' to do so himself. It had been annoyingly lame at first, but now that he looked around and thought about it some more, there WERE advantages to having such a being as a...pet, or slave, of sorts.
He heard someone shout: "Damn it all, I want out of this hell hole! Answer me!" and couldn't help but turn to the direction of the voice. KARR's eyes flickered bright yellow breify, and he headed straight for Adam's cage with a brisk step.
His scanners inspected the teen, who was hugging his knees-clearly feeling afraid and alone, concerned for himself and the others he saw around him. Maybe, just maybe some good would come of this after all-it wasn't pity that made KARR wish to take him. It was something else he couldn't explain, almost like impulse. The kid wouldn't necessarily be free, but at least it was better than staying in a cage.
Looking around for the station to take purchases, he paid up with a random card he generated which connected to his real form. Not bothering to get a typical collar like the rest, at least for now, KARR decided he was going to make a special tracking chip for the teen when he got to his real form. Promptly, he walked back to the cage where he last saw him. Empty yellow yellow eyes stared at Adam."If you want out, I can't guarantee how much better it'll be than this cage, but at least you won't be bored out of your skull. What's your name kid?"

Adam's eyes met the Decepticon's with a brisk movement, he was almost surprised. This Decepticon didn't have pitty in his eyes, but he could quite honestly see interest, something he had never really seen. He watched the Decepticon for a while, and noticed a fee being paid, he was a bit caught off guard, without a doubt. The small ammount of money paid made it plain and obvious, he was an adoptee whom the Decepticon planned to train to be a Decepticon.
It wasn't necessarily the most comforting thing, but it was better then being bought as a slave, which was the second overly priced option. Though had KARR not come over and talked to him with a bit of kindness he would never have known seeing as it had payed with an odd Credit Card type deal.
"Adam..." He said with a very small voice, obviously frigtened, but trying not to show it outwardly.

The cage unlocked with a snap. "I am the Knight Automotive Roving Robot. KARR if you prefer."He pivoted away. "Follow me, I'll take you to the base. You have a lot of learning ahead of you. It should be quite the trip."he chuckled. Perhaps he would make a suitable so called 'partner'. Not like I need one though... KARR mentally shrugged off the thought, but he remembered those days where he had wanted one.
"There will be someone that you will have to eventually meet at some point, but I'm not going to worry about now. For now, I'm teaching you how to fight. It's possible you have the necessary qualities already, but you won't be that useful if you can't fight effectively for personal gain or for defense."
KARR led him to his black and white mustang form, the doors automatically opening as usual.

Adam stood very carefully, nervous over this completely beyond what words could describe. However, this mech, KARR, didn't seem to be that bad, it shocked him. He had expected to be dragged out and to slavery of some sort. But instead, KARR appeared to have taken him with a 'take under your wing'-ish approach, it was... Interesting. That's how the thirteen year old would put it anyway.
"KARR, if you don't mind me asking, what will my living conditions be?" Adam was curious as to how well kept he would be.
If he would finally get a bed after a month of sleeping on the floor, and some non-diarea-ish food to eat. He didn't get his hopes up but he did have a shred of hope going by the way he was already being treated. As they arrived at KARR's form, he got into the passenger's side door carefully of course, buckling himself in.

"I usually stay in a hangar, but it has a main supply room fairly cleaned out...i usually like to keep it clean for my guests. I upgraded what i had in there to a small mattress. When you grow it might get small, but it'll have to do." He sat back, the steering wheel moving on its own, of course.
He glanced at his right hand a bit as he spoke, turning it around some. Nanomachines spilled from where major veins and arteries would be. Promptly slapping him on the back, he said: "I'm sure you'll find something you like about staying with the Decepticons." The nanomachines tore through his skin upon touching the material of his clothing. Giving the nanomachines new commands, the little processors started giving off bits of information, along with a built in, very simple tracking system. They would remain his blood stream, and as long as they didn't dissolve, they would replace any typical collar and data chip purchased.
The Mustang quickly picked up speed, quickly leaving the area.

Adam felt the slap on the neck and very briefly the nanomachine slipping inside his body. He was confused, guessing it may be a way to track him in case he ran. After all he was bought and adopted, meaning KARR probably didn't plan on letting him leave. "So I'll get a bed." Adam sighed, actually happy about this fact "What about food? Will I get the crap they feed there, or will I get actual meals?"
Adam hesitated with what he asked next, but guessed he could at least ask this without KARR getting mad. After all, the mech had answered his last question. "What was that that just went into me KARR?" He asked calmly.

KARR's holoform glanced at him with one eye."That was part of my exoskeleton. It's not just your typical metals, those are advanced microorganisms programed to replicate.k I'm one hundred percent bullet proof. But they also give off signals, and if reprogrammed, can do more than that. So who needs a real collar when you have those little guys." He paused in thought, staring back ahead and then added: "I have some food left from when I had to watch another human. As for the other supplies we have, I haven't looked yet."
KARR remembered he wanted to go and get some weapons. He turned to the nearest weapons shop he could fine, preferably ones that sold mostly hand guns first. Parking near the front, the doors opened again. "Task one: we're getting you some weapons." He knew young teens Adam's age couldn't carry weapons, but if he bought them, they wouldn't immediately get caught. "For starters, I wouldn't get anything large until you gain experience, just for future reference." KARR said as he stepped out of the vehicle.

"So basically, if I tried to run, you could find me with these at once?" Adam asked, he had no intention of running. No way, he'd be in trouble and he knew it. He was lucky to have some freedom as-is, and he didn't plan to risk loosing it.
He got out of KARR once instructed to. He was a little nervous about doing this, it was illegal, something he had never done in his life. But these guys weren't big on legal boundaries and he knew it, he had to get used to the fact that these were bad people. And, most likely, he would end up just like them. "Ok, what did you have in mind exactly?" He asked.

"Just something we can train with. Nothing fancy. A knife or switch blade of some kind, and/or a small pistol. You don't have to carry it around. And yeah, I basically turned them into mini data chips that have my code embedded in them. Only an experienced hacker bot could figure out how to turn off the new commands." KARR explained. He pushed open the door and walked towards the left wall of the store slightly towards the back where they carried bladed weapons. The bladed weapons included various sized pocket knives, daggers, and larger switch blades, and a few wrist blades, all though the latter wasn't too common and there were only one or two sets in stock. Off to the right were the small-arms. KARR would worry about that later.
Scratching his chin briefly, he peered into one of the glass cases for the smaller type of pocket knives and switch blades."Something small and light, just a simple pocket knife with a good blade would be one way to start."

Adam felt relieved that there wasn't a requirement to carry it around. He had been nervous that was going to be the case. He didn't want to be arrested to be honest. He didn't want to be handed over to his parents and lead the Decepticons straight to them. He, at the very least, wanted his real parents to be safe. "Well at least I don't have to worry about that." He commented.
"Ok..." He looked along at the blades, pointing out a small but slightly sharp pocket knife, nothing too dangerous "What about that?" He questioned.

"Yeah that'll do."At least till he was older perhaps, unless he picked up on being more expeditious and agile in combat."I'm eying those wrist blades. I don't see those that much..." they were indeed great for combat, especially fights involving blades. One could draw them at the last minute and no one would know what hit them till it was too late. KARR barked an order at the man operating their particular display, and he bustled towards them.
"I'd like that knife there and those wrist blades." the employee took them out, retreiving the casing, and pushed it across the glass display. He asked: 'Will that be all sir?' and KARR's dim yellow eyes turned towards the small-arms, eying a .22 pistol. Why not. Even if Adam couldn't use it away, his holo-form could use some weapons. "The .22 Ceska."he said, pointing up slightly towards the wall to their left. The employee retrieved the weapon and packed it up. He then directed them to the cashier.
Using his 'credit card' again, KARR took the boxes and the ammunition that came with the pistol, paid up. Once the payment was validated, they promptly departed, the doors automatically opening for them again once they got almost right up to his form. KARR set the boxes in the trunk and then walked to the driver's seat. "Onward." he realized that once Adam settled in the base, he would introduce her to Melissa too. Melissa would probably like to have someone to train with.

"I kind of have to warn you KARR, I can fight... I mean fist fight, and am pretty strong. But I don't know how to use a weapon." Adam commented as he got inside, he figured KARR may know that. After all he was only 13, partly the only reason he was sold for adoption. After all, any older and he wouldn't be the least bit impressionable as he was now. "I may be a slow learner."
He really hoped that wouldn't be a problem, KARR had been surprisingly kind to him thus far. And though he knew he wasn't the nicest person just like any other Decepticon, he didn't want to give KARR a reason to change his attitude towards him. "Hopefully that won't be a problem." He added.

KARR smiled a bit, a somewhat cold and curious smile."Well at least I won't have to start from scratch." he fell a bit silent for a second or two in thought."With improvisation, you'll catch up, at some point you have to if you wish to survive. You won't be working with just me either. In just a year I dare say you'll be well rounded, and far better off than you are now." KARR recalled the days Cira came home from Parkour practice which she was so sore, she could barely walk down stairs or it hurt to laugh repeatedly-his goal was to get Adam this sore multiple times. The more done from here on out, the more he would be able to add to the strength he apparently already had. Slow learning could be overcome with improv. and and confidence.

"I understand, I expected no less. After all, I'm a full human on a base of Decepticons. It's gonna be dangerous enought that I'll have to learn to fight to keep alive." Adam was a very smart boy, he knew how to catch on quickly, as was obvious. In all reality he looked forward to being able to fight. He had been bullied his entire life, and to be able to fight to avoid that... There was just no better feeling in the entire world.
He yawned, a little tired, but knowing to keep awake. He didn't want to fall asleep and have him turn on him and kill him as he did so after all. "About how long of a drive do we have ahead of us?" He asked curiously.
