"It's fine," Monica said, a teasing smirk on her face, "You're kinda doing the protective friend thing." She could sense his slight tension and caught his lie easily. "Ya know, it isn't easy to lie to me," she commented, "And me and him aren't a thing." She figured he may find some relief in hearing that.

"Yeah, but I know Adriend Cold, and before long you'll be an item if he has his way." Chris rolled his eyes, he sighed a bit, he looked at her "Something just tells me, call it best friend's intutition I guess." He shrugged lightly, hoping she wouldn't be too pissed.

"Huh. Well, we'll have to see about that," Monica said. She thought for a second after that and a question popped up in her mind. "What would be the problem if it did happen?" she asked raising a questioning eyebrow. She wasn't so much mad at the moment as she was curious. It helped that she'd been working on the temper thing slightly, trying to not flare up as much. ((*cough*anger management*cough* xP))

"Well, nothing I guess it's just... I mean the guy's a player and I don't want to see you get hurt." Chris explained, rather plainly shaking his head "You know what I'm like when it comes to that stuff... Other then Nick I'm not so trusting of people who fall under the 'player' category." He shook his head, had Nick not been Bumblebee's kid, Chris knew he wouldn't even trust him.

Hearing his answer made Monica smile. "That's sweet Chris. I'm glad I have someone like you looking out for me." She listened and nodded, understanding what he said as he continued. "Yeah, I know..." she commented. She knew well how he felt about those types of guys and knew for a fact that, most likely, he wouldn't be friends with Nick if he wasn't Bee's kid.

"Yeah, well, think of me as Mr. Big Brother..." Chris then joked lightly, laughing at his own incoming joke before stopping "And big brother is always watching." He jested towards her, he couldn't help but make that cheesey joke. Cheesey jokes were Chris's speciatlty.

Monica laughed at Chris's joke. She couldn't help laughing at his cheesy jokes most of the time. She put a hand over her mouth quickly though, as she realized what the hour was. She listened quietly, hoping that she hadn't woken up her dad. If he found Chris in here at this time of night, it wouldn't be good at all to say the least. After a few seconds, she heard a snore, a mutter and the sound of something shift. "That was a close one." she stated, looking at Chris with a small smile on her face.

"Pffft he's walked in on this plenty of times, he doesn't care. Face it your Dad loves me." Chris chuckled in a low voice "But I should get going soon anyway. My Dad's will flip if they find me not in bed." He knew she'd understand that. He was the son of the two biggest Autobots. Meaning there was danger of being kidnapped by rioters, enemies of the US, etc, as well as the Decepticons.

"Yeah, i guess he does." Monica chuckled. "They'd probably go on a manhunt for you." she commented.
Then she got up from her bed to tell him goodbye. "Don't really get kidnapped on your way home, you hear me?" she said, in a joking tone, though she was serious about wanting him to be safe. "Goodbye and Goodnight." she said with a smile and hugged him.

Chris chuckled a bit and hugged Monica back with a nod holding her arms as he pulled away. "Don't worry, I'll be perfectly safe Monica." He commented, then climbed out the window, climbing down happily. He reached the ground, then made a qucik jog. If he wanted to be there for the next Space Bridge, quite simply he had to get his butt moving.
