Corina was rather impressed with herself to have taken KITT's scanners by surprise that easily, but then again she also had to thank the giant wave that practically swallowed him. She watched around for him as he suddenly appeared very close to her face and her cheeks turned a rosey pink color. She listened as KITT spoke and then cut himself off at a word that sounded like love. She was mentally jumping around and happy but when he had finished the sentence with different words she knew he must have been embarrassed or worried about her reaction.
"What was that? Why did you cut off your earlier sentence? She was now purposely trying to make him say it if that was even what he was going to say, she may have heard wrong, but if KITT was scared to keep one little word from her hearing then she wanted to know what that word was.

KITT kicked slightly in the water and sighed, trying to clear his head. He glanced away momentarily in thought as he leaned up against the bumper of his form, trying to relax a bit. It's now or never, you'd better go ahead and tell her or you're done for.[/I][/color] KITT's mind was racing a hundred thousand miles a minute and he didn't know how to relax, but he certainly tried. Luckily for him, he looked pretty emotionless most of the time anyway.
KITT turned and looked at Corina in the eyes, quite a bit hopeful but still confused at the same time. "Corina, that night you came back to me when Danny was there, I almost flat out said "because I love you". I...just tried to find another way of saying because I didn't want you and Danny to feel comfortable. I figured I should wait because I was unsure and it didn't seem like the right time to say it. But honestly," he gently took his right hand and stroke her left cheek with it. His holoform drifted just a bit closer from the shifting of the current around them."I shouldn't have corrected myself a second time...because now it's certain and I will not deny it even if you do. I feel like I'm the luckiest Autobot alive...I love you, Corina."
He would have to have faith that Corina didn't think all of this was too weird for her. At least now she would fully understand why he thought his life felt incomplete with out her. All those endless days that he'd mourned for her were gone now, thank goodness...So with that seemingly foreign and abstract idea in mind, KITT gently leaned forward just a little more and lightly brushed his holoform's lips against hers, and pulled back slightly, just to see how she reacted; it really was just a little longer than a typical peck, because KITT sure as hell didn't want to scare her, not in such a nerve racking situation...

Corina listened intently as KITT spoke, his words were touching the bottom of her heart inside and out. Her world had been turned inside out when he said 'I love you Corina.' She felt fairly faint for a moment and she leaned backwards but luckily had KITT's hood behind her so she leaned back on the hood instead of just falling back into the straight water. She was amazed that he had actually meant to say the words that she thought he was saying earlier.
She loved how KITT said he was the happiest Autobot alive because he had her, it was just like a dream to her. And after he had kissed her she knew that he was serious about this. After he pulled away Corina knew she had to state her own feelings for him, and so she did, "KITT, I am happy to know your true feelings for me. Its true that during those days that I was in surgeries or rehab and physical therapy the only thing that kept me going was the thought of seeing you again after I was completely healed. And though what KARR did to me will remain in the form of scares on my body, I knew that on the inside a true angel was watching over me. The angel was in the form of a black Autobot symbol outlined by a red scanner." She paused for a moment taking a breathe and if he would have looked close enough the blush on Corina's cheeks vanished as she opened her mouth to speak again.
"The angel was you KITT. It was the only thing that kept me alive was you...I love you too KITT..." She leaned forward to gain her posture again as she floated a little bit closer towards him and wrapped her arms around KITT's holoform in a tight hug.

It was at this moment KITT still realized he wished he had a real human form, but half of him didn't care at the same time. He was too over joyed to be disappointed. At least he was accepted on both occasions. The first time he'd managed to confess to her in a different sense with out his holoform, which had made him content enough. This however, was different, and now his confidence lifted more as a result. Inadvertent tears of relief managed to blurr his vision-for once it seemed like it happened because it did and not because he wanted the tears there. He flushed.An angel... the thought echoed in his mind.
KITT hugged her back, gently at first, but then a little tighter. "I'm so very relieved to hear that..." gently, he picked Corina up and placed himself on the hood of his form. Setting her down, he leaned back on his hands and gazed at her, looking much more clam now."For a while I feared it wasn't right and that perhaps sooner or later I'd just find an Autobot or remain alone. Even being an Auotbot now, I still don't entirely feel like one, so what does it matter? I have you, that's all that it comes down to."

Corina was taking in the moment that her and KITT were having in the water. Just sitting there like a couple of lovebirds sitting on a highwire. She was a little bit startled by how easily he could pick her and put her down on his hood but she didn't mind, it just made the scene more romantic. She sat down on the hood and with KITT at her side relaxing she figured why not lay down and just gaze at the sky? So she leaned back and with the hot black armor keeping her back nice and warm she was easily able to just lay there for hours on end just amazed by how she had finally confessed to KITT.
(OOC: I'm changing the color of Corina's text to Green because its easier for me to spot my mistakes)
"You know, I had come to think that you had forgot about me when you didn't stop by my car after it was crushed, or checked any hospitals. I figured that you had just moved on, but my heart told me to keep on hoping to see you again and well it obviously worked."[/color] She stretched up her arms to cradle her head and picked up one of her legs letting the cool ocean water trickle down the side of her leg before submerging it in the water once again.

With a thump, KITT relaxed his holo-form's upper body and joined Corina, hands laced across his stomach."First, KARR kept you away from me long enough I couldn't save you. Second, your vital signs were so weak I didn't think they would improve. Plus I had to leave because it looked like KARR wouldn't until I did. I have to thank the heavens he didn't smash you as soon as I turned my back. Luckily the circumstances changed. I managed to give him a good beating a day or so ago when I met Danny, but it wasn't enough. I'll never forgive him." he turned to gaze at her. "I'm just glad you're back."

"I didn't even think about that...I was barely alive when the police arrived, even the doctors told me it was a miracle that I was alive."[/color] Corina hadn't even thought of the fact that her vitals were so low it was no wonder KITT didn't think she had made it. She was however glad to hear that he had given KARR a beating after she had been taken into the hospital. "Speaking of the devil in disguise, the next time I see him I'm gonna need a few gernades, a couple of gernade launchers, your machine guns hiding away in your hood and maybe a few missiles. And that's just the start of my revenge on him, I'm going to keep on going until his spark is on display in my house."[/color]

KITT chuckled, briefly petting Corina's hair. "There's plenty of chances for that. He's been running around a lot these days. We shouldn't rush it." He was still too nervous to do much else. KITT didn't want to do anything to make her nervous. Corina didn't seem too shy around him anymore but he still didn't want to risk that she'd find a reason to be that way again. KITT closed his eyes, resting his other arm/wrist slightly above them to shield himself from the glare of the sun. "I could stay like this forever...though there is one thing-I also wouldn't mind going for a dive. What do you think?"

Corina snickered at KITT's idea of going for a dive. She was just waiting for him to ask that. "How about a race to that buoy about 30 feet away and back?"[/color] Literally hopping to her feet she was walking to the edge of KITT's hood. She was ready to show off how fast she could swim, her friends that she had before she moved to Tranquility had called her the mermaid because she swam so quickly and so elegantly it looked like a fish swimming in the water.

"I meant using my form, but I can do that too." he sat up, already knowing the location of the buoy. "Three, two, one, go!" KITT leaned way forward and dove several feet forward like an arrow, disappearing into the next wave that rolled towards his form. In a streak of red and black energy, he kept his scanners set on the buoy, and didn't stop.
He was focused enough he didn't really bother looking for Corina, but he figured she'd be right near him soon enough. KITT kept kicking, swerving with the general flow of the current, trying not to fight it. Luckily he didn't have to worry about tiring too much.

Corina jumped off from the hood and dove into the water with a magnificent splash. She was taking the waves with no fear at all facing each wave by diving under it and facing a stronger current that taking the chance of swallowing water and getting turned around. She swam through the water gracefully kicking her feet in a rhythmic beat that made her go faster and faster with each kick. After a few minutes she was caught up with KITT and was actually passing him despite the fact that he was practically a super human. Instead of making some kind of remark at KITT like she normall would she continued going on and was about 10 feet away with the buoy with only sheer determination keeping her going.

KITT's scanners alerted him of her closing in. He was quite surprised, she was definitely a natural. KITT's holoform kicked against the motion of another incoming wave, calculating its timing just right to line himself back up with her as he changed sides, briefly dividing under her by a few feet as they moved. In a flicker of energy he appeared on her opposite side, remaining under water for better efficiency.
It didn't take long near the buoy. He saw sea weed floating around but it didn't slow him down, he just pushed it all away with each stoke and kick. Corina was a second or two ahead of him now, and if he moved just a little faster they would probably tie, but he was watching both targets rather than the primary. It looked pretty certain Corina would actually get there first by a couple seconds.
Just for the heck of it, his real form suddenly roared forward and turbo-boosted a few yards away from them into their area with in just a few seconds. It was mostly submerged under water, generating a streak of bright blue energy under water. KITT's holoform slowed and popped up near the buoy, having slowed down now since he knew he lost by those couple of seconds. "I prefer using my form, but you're definitely a natural."
The mustang slowed and remained floating a yard or so away from the buoy while his holo-form flickered away for a second. He reappeared above the water, balancing on the buoy, looking around, watching a speed boat go by in the distance.

Corina was impressed that she had actually managed to defeat KITT's holoform, he was a robot and could obviously have out swam her in an instant but instead she won by a few choice seconds, she was impressed with herself. "Well I have to say thank you, because I have been swimming ever since I was a little girl. I often dreamed about becoming a professional swimmer, never dreamed that I would be working with a secret organization of Alien robots to help exterminate their enemies and not only that but I didn't expect to find out that you had joined the Autobots. My life is full of surprises."[/color] She had stopped by now obviously but was still way out of breath so she swam slowly over towards the mustang and rested against it even though most of it was under water it was just close enough to the surface to lean against.

Holo-KITT hopped off the buoy with a splash and swam up to her. "I'm sure you still can, right? We'll be fighting for a while, it's not like I'm ever leaving Earth." he said with a shrug. He too remained floating, leaning up against his form. KITT always felt comfortable having it close to him. He was pleased to see that even though he was using his holographic form, Corina still fully acknowledged his real form in its entirety and that it didn't just become part of the scenery. Content, KITT put an arm around her shoulders. He glanced at her with a smile, his face flushed a tad. "By the way, I was too chicken to tell you earlier. You look absolutely fabulous."

Corina smiled sweetely at KITT's comment. It was a good thing he thought she looked fabulous because that was the reason she had dressed so nice. "Why thank you KITT.[/color] She scooted closer to KITT's holoform as he had just wrapped his arm around her and she was happy to be around him. She cuddled against his side and placed her hand on his bare chest as she marveled at the clear blue ocean.
