Chances are, Deadeye and Nightracer might have run into one another on Cybertron, but even more likely was the lack of acknowledgement due to their respective roles. Back on Cybertron, Deadeye was concerned with two things: Staying alive and putting a plasma shot through the spark of any Autobot that came within a mile of him before they could even know what hit them. He didn't make much of an effort to fit anything else into that list.
But now the war had come to Earth, and it seemed for the most part that the Autobots were keeping their heads down. Which means there were no heads for him to shoot. Therefore, he found himself with actual free time, though his history hadn't exactly given him the best social skills.
However, he and Nightracer had common ground: The love of a one shot kill.
"Scrapped any Autobots lately?" he asked.
