Setinel at five years old was surely more mature then he was as a toddler no one could deny that. He had not made Wheeljack go 'boom' in a while, and he was much more interested in the way the world around him worked. Whether that was a good or bad thing wholely depended on one's opinion on the matter.
Roaming, when he had been younger, may have been something an Autobot would fear him doing, but Setinel was no longer that bad. As such, roaming wasn't a cause for worry or to beware of explosions in Wheeljacks lab.
Though one still had to keep an eye on him in case he would mistakingly walk out of the base. Which he had done once or twice since he grew curious. Needless to say that had just about given his Father and the rest of the Autobots more then just a little bit of a spark attack. Not that he had even noticed if one were to be honest.
Heaven only knew what curiosity would bring today.

Bumblebee was actually walking through the base, though it was more for looking for Sentinel then anything else. He shifted and walked slowly, carefully. The boy was so tiny and so easily crushed! He should just keep him in a padded room and lock the door, with the highest security they could put on it. Let him live there, away from all of the stuff that could possibly even nick Sentinel.
He perked up, his wings went up and he smiled. "Sentinel, what are you doing here?" he asked cheerfully and kneeled down near the five year old, offering his hand to the sparkling.
The Autobot spy was relaxed, calm, and releived beyond anything in his mind that Sentinel was safe. He smiled more at the small boy and waited for Sentinel to either walk on or climb into his hand.

Setinel grinned broadly when he heard Bumblebee's voice. He always had a close relationship with the young yellow Autobot. He like his Dad, knew what made him have fun. Also, quite simply put, he was less serious then some of the other Autobots. "Hey Uncle Bee!" He said chipperly.
He quickly climbed onto the Autobots hand, knowing he was going to be given a ride. He always found riding on Autobot's shoulders or in their hands to be great fun. "I was just exploring, honest." He commented.

Bumblebee smiled and gently cradelled Sentinel in his hands, with a bright smile. "Oh! Sounds like fun. Did you find anything intresting?" he asked the small boy.
For awhile, he kept him in his hands. He looked at the small boy with a warmed spark and slowly grinned even wider. He was very gentle and careful as he rubbed the little boy's back with one didgit, though always careful with him.
This was Optimus's son after all! More then that, he was adorable, cute, innocent, and way too much fun. He continued to cradle the boy in his hands and he asked, "Did you want to ride on my shoulder?"

"Nah, nothin' really. Daddy banned me from fun places alone." Fun places were clearly considered dangerous by the Autobots. And Chris wasn't exactly allowed out of the base or his home without an escort, so the outside was another banned place.
The war was really starting to pick up, and it was important that he and his now one year old brother were well protected. He grinned as Bee held him, but nodded with great vigor when he was offered a ride. "Yes please!"

Bumblebee made a soft sigh, though it was a slightly mock one, and shook his head. "Well, you only need an escourt, right?" he inquired softly, and grinned at the boy as he placed the son on his shoulder.
He grinned at the boy and made sure Sentinel was settled before beginning to walk forward. "Where do you want to investigate that won't get a wrench thrown at my head by Uncle Ratchet?" he asked of the boy, grinning at him.
He was sure that the boy would suggest outside. Bumblebee could do that, though it would be close to base.

"Uh-huh." Setinel nodded, he held lightly onto Bee's shoulder, as he was small and could easily fall. "Outside, I haven't been out in long time."
He'd probably gett off Bumblebee's shoulder for a bit to explore outside. But he was sure the Autobot wouldn't be bothered by that too much. Of course, as long as he was within a certain range. One never knew when a Decepticon could be lurking about.
After all, a young child could be so easily assimilated into another culture, even after capture. Given the chance, one could be sure the Decepticons would love to land a blow on Optimus like stealing Setinel to raise him as a Decepticon. It was just the way they were.

Bumblebee grinned and saluted a little. "Aye, aye Captain!" he responded, though his movements were careful, reserved.
He didn't want the little guy to fall and he headed toward the door. At the door to the outside world, he became hesitant. Making sure that nothing bad was around in the immediate area, he began to look through everything. He shifted and raised his hand for Sentinel to get on. "Can't do any exploring from up there, now can you?" he inquired with a grin.
He had no idea his actions would place Sentinel in danger. He didn't know. He just wanted to lavish the boy and give him some freedom. He waited for the child of their leader to accept either the hand or to decline.

Setinel was hesitant to climb off at first, but calmly got onto Bumblebee's hand again. He trusted Bumblebee, just like he trusted every Autobot close to his Father. And at his young age, he still didn't think too hard on how dangerous it could be. "I could... But it not be easy." He commented.
He thought for a moment, but decided to assure Bee of something. "I no go far, promise."

Bumblebee smiled and gently lowered the boy to the ground. "Don't you worry about it! I won't be letting you go far! I'm following you Captain," Bee assured him and he watched Chris go off.
For every ten steps, Bumblebee took two. Small, but he assured himself he didn't need to be any closer. Quick sweeps of the area, to insure there were no Decepticons, and followed after the boy. He smiled at him, slowly getting distracted.
He shifted a little and continued to follow after him, taking joy in watching Sentinel exploring about outside. He smiled a little more, unknowing of the danger creeping closer to them.

Setinel's exploration was always nothing harmless. Most of the time, he'd simply just run around and goof off. He barely noticed Bumblebee was even following him, he was too occupied by what he was doing. Which at the moment was playing a small game with Bee.
He hid himself behind a hunk of metal, and planned to jump out at him when he went looking. It wasn't very fun to the person who it was done to, but for a little kid more often then not it was fun. He looked over at Bumblebee every so often, giggling quietly as he did so.

It hadn't been long at all since he'd been reinenforced into the rankings of the Decepticons. His symbol shown boldly on his chest, and the crazed Decepticon smiled broadly as he noticed an Autobot with a young son. Well, it wasn't the Autobots son exactly, but it was still the son of an Autobot and that poked some fun. And when he found out it was Optimus's fun, he'd go haywire.
His mood changing from his hot headed total annaliation mode to his random and crazed mode, he snuck up behind Sentinel, taking a place beside him hidden behind the cover of a metal barrier. "Ooh, lookies what we have here. Well won't Megatron be proud of his loyal subject? Come on little dude, we got some things we gotta take care of." He had a fake smile planted on his face, and without the mention of Megatron, it may have been possible for this robot to be an Autobot, well, apart from the symbol glowing proudly on his chest.
As if he were an Autobot, he offered a white hand for the child to climb onto so Blitzwing could deliver the child to his leader.

Setinel's eyes fully widened at the appearence of a Decepticon right by him, next to him to be exact. Had he not noticed the symbol on the mechs chest, he never would have known. His body trembled, he was cornered, against a metal object with a Decepticon in front of him. His voice was caught in his throat, but he finally found it. "U-Uncle Bee!" He shouted in terror, looking for a way out. He found none, realizing this mech had every intention of kidnapping him.

Bumblebee groaned as Chris went AWOL and he shook his head slightly. He sighed soflty and began to look through everything, when he heard an odd voice...and the shriek. Battle mask down and canon blazing, Bumblebee flew to where Chris's voice came from. With a fiersome growl, he attempted to fire at the Decepticon, avoiding hands just in case, with a snarled, "Get away from him you slaggin' Decepticon!"
His canon remained firmly aimed for Blitzwing, while his optics searched for Sentinel. He shifted and he kept Blitzwing in his sights. He reached behind the metel scrap, reaching for Chris blindly. No way in the Pit was he going to look away from the Decepticon scum.
He seemed to have forgotten that a five year old was right there when he cussed at the Decepticon.

At the sound of an Autobot voicing words, he looked around. "Decepticon? Where? Ooh, I wanna meet them." He turned to face Bumblebee then. "Please please please please please show me where the decepticon is!" If it wasn't obvious by now, Blitzwing was a crazy decepticon. It was a wonder why Megatron kept him around.
His mood changing, he pulled out a cannon, and heated it up, the inside of it growing red. "I will crush every Autobot and show them the way to the stars." As if triggering a switch within him, his cannon interior glowed a purple, and he was back into his random mood. He pointed towards the sky. "See, that's where the stars are. Betcha didn't know that. Admit it, I'm smarter than you. See?" He stared at Bumblebee, waiting for Bumblebee to admit he was smarter than the Autobot.
