Corina had heard earlier that day at the beach that there was going to be a party at the lake, she decided to see what it was like. She could walk to the lake because it wasn't that far away from where she lived. When she got to the party she was immediately noticed but not because she was there, but because she was out of place. Corina was a new kid in town and no one seemed to want to make friends with her.
With a sad look on her face Corina damped her mind and sat down by a tree not far from the road, when a few boys came up to her and asked her who she was and why she was at the Tranquility Kid's lake.
"I heard there was a party, and I thought-"
"THought you could make some friends? Wake up sister, Tranquility isn't like that!" A boy finished and began to shove her, he pushed her against the tree and she groaned as a small branch dug into her side, not piercing the skin but just hiting it hard enough to cause a rather nice sized bruise.
"Aww what's the matter? Did the new kid get a boo-boo?" The boys teased and continued to shove her.
(sorry about the rudeness of the boys to Corina but i figured it would be a good chance for KITT to show Corina that he is always there for her :3 hope you don't mind)

Parked near Shadow lake, KITT decided to take a walk in his advanced Holographic form. When he got to the park, however, his scanners picked up a familiar human, Corina. Unfortunately she was in distress. The hologram frowned, and ran into a sprint. Eyes glowing red, he zoned in on the specific location around the other side of the lake. When he arrived, he didn't appear to be out of breath. Holographic KITT was wearing his maroon t-shirt and baggy, faded black jeans and black shoes. His face acne free, tan skin and shaggy, pitch black hair.
Four boys were harassing Corina, and KITT was NOT pleased. Appearing behind them, he cleared his throat loudly, standing there. His red eyes fixed on their backs, sending chills down their spines. KITT's holographic form appeared to be considerably older than them, at least by a year or so, even though he was technically almost in his 50's in the scale of human years.
"Pardon me butting in, but that is NOT how you treat a lady. Step off before I have to force you."
The boys turned around, staring at him in surprise.
"Yea and what are you gonna do, punk?" They began closing in on him, cracking their knuckles. One of them whispered solemnly, pointing at his red eyes in a suspicious, paranoid behavior. "I don't think he's human!" The other boy that was passively listening snorted. "Eh. Prolly contacts." another one chuckled nervously.
"You might want to listen to that boy's suspicions." KITT glanced at Corina telling her to be careful. The first boy closest to KITT, a big kid, punched straight forward at KITT. Appearing to not even look at him, KITT caught the punch. With raw, inhuman strength, KITT began to squeeze the hand so hard that you could hear bones beginning to crack. The boy wailed like a toddler in pain. "Ow ow ow! Let go of me you jack ass!" he wimpered.
"Are you boys going to listen to me?" his voice cold and emotionless as he squeezed the boys hand. "Or do you wish to bestow worse upon yourselves like him?" The rest of the boys appeared to be weak kneed as KITT held the pressure--"Hey, don't try to hit---" another one of the smaller kids that had pushed Corina against the tree tried to punch him from the side, but KITT saw him coming, following his movements. KITT caught the hand from his other free right hand, doing the same to the smaller kid as he had to the big one.
The two other kids were backing up, lips quivering in slight fear, afraid that he would do more than just bust their fists up to them.
"Okay! We'll listen to you!" the big boy who was caught in KITTs left hand said. One of the uninjured ones muttered something about calling the cops. "I wouldn't be muttering that when it was YOU who agreed to help attack her. Now back off!"
"Okay okay!" they all whined, almost in unison. Snorting, KITT let go of the two boys and they cried briefly, holding their broken hands in pain. They all left quickly. Glaring at them with his red eyes, they dimmed after they cleared the area. KITT walked up to Corina, with a softer expression on his face. He kept his distance.
"Are you all right, Corina?"

Corina watched KITT's every move as she noticed his red eyes and immediately figured it was contacts like the boys suggested. She shook her head and watched everything that KITT had done to the boys, breaking their hands and wrists along with shoving the other kids. At that moment Corina felt a little bit protected, as if she had known him from somewhere. Nevertheless the boys had stopped harrasing her and she got to see KITT in his human holoform, even though she didn't really know it was KITT. Eventually the boys backed away and ran off holding their wrists and hands in pain. Corina pushed herself off of the tree, holding her back because well the bruise did hurt but she didn't want him to worry about her too much. But instead of replying immediately she stared at his holoform, he was a rather good looking man and quite frankly she was sure she was blushing. Then she realized he had asked her a question a few minutes after she had stared, she grew embarrased and blushed more.
"Yeah, thanks. But who are you? And why did you help me?"

KITT appeared to be a little dissappointed. He was certain after a few words she'd recognize his voice...but maybe it sounded too young and unfamiliar when he used his hologram. KITT didn't take it personally, though. Yet he still couldn't help but be a bit disappointed. "You don't recognize my voice? Is it that different? I'm KITT." He rolled up his right long t-shirt sleeve, revealing a black Autobot symbol.

Corina glared at the Autobot symbol on his arm and then looked to his face, "KITT? That's you? W-wow.....your human....." She was so amazed by him being human that she actually began to touch his arm feeling of the skin, to see if he was really solid and sure enough it was solid. She gasped again and looked up at his face before noticing the stares of the other kids around the lake and feeling a little bit awkward. She blushed as she noticed the same boys were also peering at them, but she tried not to show fear so she narrowed her eyes at the boys and clentched a fist and raised it around KITT's back so he hopefully couldn't see it. The boys had noticed her shaking her fist and immediately stopped looking. Corina giggled to herself and lowered her fist.

KITT couldn't help but blush a little when she touched his arm, so lightly and delicately...He hadn't ever been touched as a human before, after all...this was only his second appearance in his form and he was still getting used to it. KITT almost flinched, but he didn't want to concern Corina, so he held still, certain that his face was a bit red. But the redness disappeared when he noticed the boys were still there. Detecting the movement behind him, KITT knew Corina was forcing the boys to look away by shaking her fist because they stopped immediately just before he glared at them, his eyes flashing red. "I said get out of here." he said coldly. He shifted forward into a fighting stance slightly. He pulled out a funny looking hilt from behind the thick black belt underneath his long maroon t-shirt, seeming to appear out of no where. KITT summoned a scaled down version of his two pronged energy sword. It looks like this, but its red: ![]() As soon as the energy sword appeared in his left hand, KITT's body language and cold voice scared them completely. "Holy crap, its like the sword from Halo!" one of them shouted. Another merely yelped in surprise at the irony, pointing at it. "He really does mean business! Let's get out of here!" the two boys who had their hands crushed were already gone. The other two scampered away in fear. A couple other people passing stared at them oddly, wondering about the weapon, but before they could wonder further, it disappeared and KITT tucked away the hilt. "Block heads." he said through clenched teeth. |

Corina stared at KITT's weapon that he revealed from his belt, staring at the sword and then looking back to the belt. She wondered where he could of had that thing hid. She snickered as she watched the other kids run off with fear and the kids that were staring just look away.
"So tell me, where is your real self KITT?"

KITT shrugged. "180 degrees; across the lake." he said, pointing right ahead in front of him/behind Corina's current position. "I just wanted to come out and be relatively human for once..." KITT said with an almost sad sigh as he sat down against a random tree. His voice was back to normal and more emotionless there after: "So I came here. I'm glad I bumped into you." he glanced up at her, a brief but genuine smile curling up on his lips.

Corina nodded she was also happy to see him but she blushed as he smiled. He was very good looking as a human. She sat down on the grass next to him adjusting her skirt so that it didn't ride up her legs in the back and she then brushed her back free of the tree bark that had gotten on it from being pushed into the tree.
"You really want to be all human don't you?"

"Well...for the most part." KITT scratched his chin nervously. "It is nice, but at the same time, I like my forms. They allow me to do much more than human could ever hope to do. I like being able to make a difference and protect humans, after all. I will admit that I am definitely glad to have a chance to get a little closer to the humans with out feeling so out of place..."

"I understand. I often feel out of place when I go places where I don't know anyone, but now I don't feel so out of place." Corina peered over at the lake staring at where KITT was even though she couldn't see where he really was, she was wondering how KITT was linking his AI into the human over such a great distance but she didn't really care, she was just happy that she was actually able to talk to a real human KITT. She continued to gaze around at all of the people wondering if she would ever befriend anyone around the town, or if she would just be alienated and attacked like she had been earlier. For that reason Corina knew she was going to have to work out a lot more and build her muscles up to cause more damage to someone if she needed to punch them. She leaned against the tree and sighed just as a soothing breeze stirred, blowing her blonde hair back in the wind.

"Yeah...It can be awkward. Even now I still feel different from the other Autobots. Since I'm not 'really' one of them and all. I'm sure it comes easier with time. Never give up." KITT folded his arms for a moment, glancing over at Corina when he noticed she tried to relax some...and a thought washed over him: But she's very pretty, and somewhat delicate like Carwen, yet in a different way...I don't understand why she thinks she has trouble... he glanced away rather abruptly, hoping Corina wouldn't notice, certain his face flushed a little when he realized he was getting carried away with his thoughts. This is another reason why being human is awkward...it seems they deal with these awkward situations more...

Corina was relaxing with the breeze blowing through her hair when it suddenly ended, she was a little bit disappointed because she loved feeling a breeze. She sighed a sigh until she noticed KITT look away rather abrutly as if something had spooked him or something, she tilted her head a little trying to peer over towards KITT's face.
"Something wrong?"

"Umm, no. I'm merely not used to...this. I just...feel different." It wasn't a bad feeling, but it was definitely new and a bit awkward. He gazed ahead, picking up a random blade of grass and began peeling it. "This all still feels a bit...unfamiliar. On the bright-side of things, I'm learning a lot more than I have in quite a while."

Corina watched as it seemed that KITT was rather interested about being human but to her KITT wasn't just some machine, it was hard for her to exactly explain what KITT was to her because well it just seemed awkward that she was thinking that way of a car. She shook her head mentally and she tried to think of what exactly KITT was to her and all that came to her mind was "best friend" so she decided that was what KITT was.
"Want to go for a walk?" She questioned.
