There Is More To Them Then Meets The Eye
Physical Description: Josh is rather lanky and appears to be fairly malnutritioned due to his past, but he's got a fairly decent build over all. He tends to be a bit casual with his posture but he often looks quite wary due to his past. For a while, Josh only had one set of clothing at a time before he had to go get more clothing from anywhere he could get his hands on them. He wears baggy jeans, a simple long sleeved t-shirt, and some heavy hooded sweatshirt that he can change into. His current hoody is a dark blue hoody which has quite a few holes in it.
Josh has a fairly decent hygiene, and it will probably improve when he starts eating better. He has hazel eyes, fairly pale skin, and bushy hair in a skater's hair style.
Personality: Josh is a very bitter, straight forward and cynical teen. He's had a hard life and works with what he has. He does not like having big dreams which could easily crumble a part. Josh is a bit lost in the spiritual sense, and longs to better himself and also find a new life, one far better than the one he had on the streets. Things seemed dim for many years, and he eventually grew to not trust anyone, and thus, he has slight trouble opening up to certain types of people. He is often a bit of a lone wolf and won't often go out of his way to meet people, unless its to do 'business' (which was often just to get food or money). He can be a bit manipulative and is often stubborn and devious. He likes to fend for himself and on some levels finds it hard to fathom (and occasionally offensive) when people go out of their way to help him. However, he does have a softer, appreciative side that people will see over time.
Like some of the more temperamental bots around the base, you do not want to push his limits-he's very tough and will fight with everything he has to get what he wants, protect himself, or even help others now and then. When you push the wrong buttons, Josh can be VERY mean and explosive. If in the right mood, he's like a time bomb waiting to go off.
Josh always tries to be resourceful and quick to react-being as alert as possible has helped him survive on the streets countless times.

Your Greatest Strength: Josh is very tough-his body can take a lot of stress, and it may seem that he thrives for pressure, even in those cases where he might break down. He can connect with just about anyone whose had a hard life and can either be of help to them or take advantage of it and use what he knows against them. He knows what he wants when he realizes he needs it and is quite hard to bring down. (he also taught himself some defense so he definitely knows how to fight, but is surely not as skilled as Jade.)
Your Greatest Weakness: Josh's weakness is probably connected to everything which he clings to, especially the rules that he he's lived with all his life. He's afraid to take certain risks if he doesn't for-see an immediate benefit. Sometimes he can't control his emotions either; even when he tries relies on himself to keep calm, he can sometimes still mess up. Despite having to pick pocket, hurt people, and steal necessities often, deep down, Josh hates having to do it and there have been several times where he gets tired of hurting others to survive. Were it not for all these ties, it would seem like Josh is a very strong kid. However, these are actually some of the things that can shake him up-he just has a very solid shell that will weaken only on occasion.
Your Fatal Flaw: strain. Josh can take a lot of pressure, but only so much. If one takes away everything he stands for and everything that motivates him, Josh will hesitate or temporarily panic. No average person likes their barriers shattered, and all though Josh is trying to overcome this, its a hard path. Over time, some chains that that held him down will be removed, but there are still some that will remain. If he breaks down or becomes paralyzed (and not just the physical way)-Josh usually is forced to surrender.

Firepower: 0 to 5 (nill for starters but when he hangs around the Autobots more, he'll gain some weapons, one or two probably given to him by Jade or someone else. Ones that would be small enough he could conceal (like a small laser gun or a light pistol of some sort.)
Skill: 6 he's fairly spontaneous and resourceful-all though he doesnt really have a specialty other than thieving and bullying/being tough, he's a decent fighter)

History: Josh had it rough since the day he was born. His parents got into a fatal accident that wasn't their fault. Both cars hit while accelerating from a turn on non lit intersections during the early morning when it was icy and foggy out. He had no family left which he could turn to and thus was forced to get help from the social services (which are one of the many things he doesn't like). He tried to find a home, but after a while there was no such luck-he got lucky on a few occasions and a few people nearly considered taking him, but they never came back for whatever reason that kept them from doing so (income, time, second thoughts, could have been any of those).
Eventually Josh got sick of staying with the social services/orphanage and escaped it all together. He quickly found out how unpleasant it was. Being forced to fend for himself and also hide from those who actually tried to help him, Josh moved around a lot, never staying in one place to rest at night. At some times he didn't know why he wanted to run away from them, but he wanted to live for himself. Thus he started the habits of pickpocketing, shop lifting, bullying other homeless kids for money, etc. And as he improved in these skills, Josh was able to pick pocket a nice knife.
Josh had nearly been attacked by some predators on a few occasions before he stole the knife, and he managed to get away from them, but when they came back for them, he attacked with out mercy. They were lucky to see him walk away. After that, Josh was forced to move and gradually ended up hanging around close to NEST, and started hanging around the areas Justin used to live in for a couple years. Josh was Justin's worst enemy, because he knew how to take advantage on all the young kids. As these few years passed (when he was about 7 or so), he picked up various techniques that could let him get away with a lot of stuff.
As he grew older he became more difficult to stop. Mudflap gradually stopped him after two intimidating encounters, and Justin actually offered to help him. Josh was shocked and stubborn, but he realized this opportunity could possibly be better than what the orphanages offered. He was tired of being ditched by people who changed their minds at the last minute. The next bot he encountered (after getting some good food at the base) was Articfang, and he seemed to take a liking to the big cat even though he found her size quite intimidating.
Even if he doesn't find a new family among the Autobots, Josh has slowly started to realize he couldn't ask for a better place because he feels so accepted. Josh may or may not find someone to adopt him, but only time will tell. (This history will be updated if he does)
