As the following month after being 'captured' by the Autobots progressed, Jade was far more comfortable leaving the building. She'd visited some of the West Coast, met a couple people like Leslie and Leah. Currently, the female ninja was out for her daily parkour/free running session. She liked to go to all ends of the base to check out what kind of things could be made into obstacles. She took after Cira that way, as she'd learned of Parkour because of her.
Despite her age, Jade always liked to carry some weapons on her. Several of which, she'd snatched from the Decepticons. Others, she'd collected herself. It being cold, Jade wore a long, loose black hoody. Tucked away safely in one of her cargo pants pockets was a shiny penknife, a simple pen that had no ink capsule but had a VERY sharp point. Hidden under her sleeves were some Energon wrist blades, and a few grenades were attached to her thick belt.
Moving at a jog, Jade saw some trees up ahead and picked up her speed. The first branch she could reach being a couple feet higher than her, she 'ran up' the tree so she could grab it. It being just thick enough to hold her, Jade pulled herself up and sat on the branch, looking around while listening to The Cage by Sona Arctica on her iPod.

Driving around, Recoil wasn't exactly sure why he was this close to the Autobot base. If anything, he should be much farther away. He had decided to just keep going around wherever near the base he was, and eventually leave. However, he just wanted something to do for the moment. Little did he know, he was heading for the same bunch of trees Jade, one of his ex-experiments, was heading to. Might as well get into some shade, I'm not in the mood to go too far. So, might as well stay cool. He had chosen the group of trees Jade was heading to to "cool off" under, and was pulling into park up under it, shutting off his engine, right as Jade was actually sitting on a branch over him. Unfortunately, he was entirely oblivious to it.

Jade saw a black TransAm roll into view, and she barely recognized that it was Recoil's alternate mode as he moved closer. She paused her music and tucked away the ear buds in a secure pocket. The bot was moving at a casual pace, so she didn't deem him a threat till she realized who it was. It wasn't KITT in one of his older alternate modes because she saw no red double scanner. She hadn't seen this one in a long time, and was pretty sure they weren't an Autobot because for some reason she gained a real bad feeling the more she looked at the alternate form. She sat still in the tree, wondering if the bot would notice her, becoming surprised when he didn't. Attempting to jostle as few branches as possible, she steadily hung upside down on the branch, making sure the grenades remained attached, trying not to make necessary movements. It's him...should I say anything? He'll realize I'm here at some point even if I just make a sudden movement.-This was all that she could think when the realization settled into her nervous skull.
Her heart was pounding. She hadn't seen Recoil since her failed mission. Blood rushing to her head, she tried to keep calm. Just watching him for a few moments, she wondered if she should even say anything, seeing how she was quite afraid of him and wasn't sure how he'd react to her being out here-and still with the Autobots, for that matter.
Unfortunately, a natural force answered her question. She felt something crawl up her right ankle rather quickly. Twitching and freaking out, she flipped right side up so fast the tree branch didn't even jostle that much-luckily, one measly spider would not make her fall out of the tree like that. But, hating spiders, Jade freaked out and let out a very audible squeak.
"Die!" pulling her upper half up, Jade gave the ticklish spot that moved up to her right knee one good smack, the spider (one that was about the size of a quarter) no longer budged. She was relieved to have stopped it before it got past her knee. Whimpering, she balanced herself further and stood on the tree with her left leg, shaking the right one, trying to get it out of her clothes. Well slag, so much for staying quiet. Stupid spider!she thought with a mental sigh as she glance down at Recoil nervously, frustrated with the fact that just had to happen after one of the Cons she feared showed up.

Of course, Recoil invariably turned his scanners up at the sound of a voice. Still afraid of spiders? I had hoped you would have been over that fear by now. It's not all that good for you, not the way you sneak around anyway. Recoil's "experiments" always did have their purpose. Jade, was supposed to be espionage. Needless to say, the fear of spiders didn't help.
How did your mission progress, before it ended? And, what have you been doing in your "free time"? The way he spoke, it sounded more like Recoil was asking her about the weather, instead of spy missions and her escape from the Decepticons.

"Hey, if it weren't for that damn spider, I wasn't about to move at all. Decent, until I got to the main intel office."Jade said, grumbling slightly, sitting with her toes balancing her on the . "I was caught by Interceptor, FLAGs spy bot. "With as still as Jade had been prior to the spider crawling up her ankle, who knew how long it would have taken for Recoil to notice she was a branch or so above him.
"Ah, they held me hostage for a while, but after I was interrogated and learned you'd experimented on me, they kept me on watch until they decided I was no longer a threat. As for my free time...lots of training, home schooling, and daily 'free running'."Jade was mentally raising an eyebrow at these questions-she didn't think Recoil would act peacefully on any level around her, especially since she failed to develop in what she was really supposed to be. As she spoke, while glancing down for the most part, her gaze drifted to some random spot on the ground, this was often done while on a train of thought or something similar.
Jade's weaknesses weren't completely resolved. They were slowly fading, but some, like the spiders, still made her jumpy. Jade was a bit sensitive with various senses, especially light and sound. A light, fast moving body like a spiders really made her jumpy because she had yet to learn how to adjust her body fully, let alone change her skins sensitivity through conditioning, her skin and nerves. Jade was still a bit afraid of them, but at least she could kill them with out hesitation. Jade didn't even mind snakes either. She'd met Connor's snake Gemini, and thought she was pretty cool.
Jade glanced back towards/down at Recoil. "I'd like to think I've become a much better fighter since then, I've trained with several people here and there because I enjoy it so much now..."

Interesting. Well, I do hope that you still don't mind medics as it is right around time for your monthly checkup, after all this time of your having escaped. He might love fighting, but when it came to his experiments, he liked to keep them alive as long as possible. And, having missed a few checkups, he would be quite restless in the hopes of looking at them again because the experiment could have somehow started to decline from a healthy state. Besides, what better way to divert them from a slightly painful topic?

"Um, sure..."Jade said a bit slowly, somewhat uncertain this was a good idea to agree, but figured it was the best and least violent way to interact with her 'creator'. Jade double checked the area below her and since Recoil still appeared to be parked almost right under the tree, she side stepped towards the main trunk, and stepped up to another branch. Pivoting around with well practiced balance she knelt down and grabbed onto the branch then jumped the rest of the way down, barely making a sound. "I don't think you'll see any major negativities-I haven't received any major wounds or numerous scratches, and I've been eating healthier..."As she trained more and became a little more active, Jade always ate the first thing that popped into her head, if it was there. Unfortunately there were used to be some days Jade could never seem to make up her mind, but after a few of these indecisive days, she learned to consume exactly what she needed with out much debate. It had actually taken some getting used to since when she had lived with the Decepticons, she didn't exactly have the best food to access. Those times where she was indecisive about what to consume was non-existent now.
