Hey there, my name is Joe, but you can call me Ryu, Zorc, Meph or Dark Master. I've been on this planet 17 years, but have been RPing for 4 years. Along with this character, I tend to make the lives of Vector Prime a living hell. Just so you know I found this site by an add on a site I found on google.

Personality: Scourge is in almost every way the twisted shadow of the one from which he was created. Ruthless, power-hungry domineering and hateful, Scourge is a dark and powerful commander of the decepticon forces. In utter love with power, Scourge thrives on having command over others. He is one who rules best by fear, using his might, cunning and temper to intimidate other bots into doing what they are told. Scourge thus is in every sense from Optimus, the one he was cloned from. Scourge feels that the strong should rule and control the weak, and the weak should learn their place, kneeling at the feet of the strong. Who is the strongest in Scourge's mind? Himself. Scourge sees himself as one of the strongest beings in existence being cloned from the great Optimus Prime. Thus he believes he should be the one at the top of the heap, and even should be the leader of the deception.
He however, unlike starscream, is a much more subtle traitor. He is very methodical and deliberate in his scheming against Megatron and is looking for the right opportunity to take power himself. Despite his intelligence and power, Scourge has one fatal flaw, his temper. Scourge has a very short fuse and even the smallest thing can send him flying off into a rage, and when he is angry, he can be very dangerous. He can and will take out his anger on others, even his fellow deception, and has little control over his thoughts. In battle he will go from tactile commander to battle crazed maniac hacking wildly with his sword. This rage is perhaps one of his greatest assets and his Achilles heel.
Likes: Scourge loves power. He loves to be strong, to be able to defeat others in combat. it feeds his own arrogance. He also loves control. Scourge thrives when he has power over others and is on the top of the heap, and thus will do almost anything to gain control. The third thing Scourge loves is intimidating others into obedience. A Tyrant at heart, Scourge loves to flaunt his power over others. Scourge also lives for combat, a battle fiend, he enjoys both the tactical and physical side of fighting. His love of combat gose hand in hand with his final passion, suffering. Scourge loves to cause the autobots as well as his fellow deception pain, especially when he is in a rage.
Dislikes: Scourge dislikes many things. One of the main ones however is Optimus Prime. Being Optimus' clone, Scourge despises that he is even in power with the prime of the autobots. He hates Prime with a passion and it is one of his greatest dreams to crush the autobot leader into a pile of scrap. Another thing he dislikes are those that protect the weak at the expense of the strong. He hates those that look out for the best interest of the "pathetic piles of scrap," that do not understand their place. Scourge also holds a distinct hatred for Megatron. Despite working for him, Scourge sees him as an obstacle to true power that must be removed, and generally dislikes him for that. This ties into another dislike of Scourge, being in the service of others. While Scourge can stand to work for others if it is a path to power(like his service to megatron), he in the end despises every minute of being under somebody else, though he knows how to swallow his pride and be a very good faker when it comes to working for others.
Fears: Scourge is a bot of few fears, but he dose have some that he never shares with others. His main and biggest fear is in fact the fear that he himself has weakness. He knows that he is not all powerful, and he is afraid of being weak or showing weakness in any way. He desires to be strong after all, and for somebody so wrapped up in the idea of having power, weakness is something Scourge refuses to admit to himself he has, and is utterly afraid to admit that to himself as well. Another fear Scourge has is that Optimus Prime is actually stronger then him. Being a clone, a copy of Prime, Scourge constantly feels a need to prove himself the better bot, and he fears that in fact he is just a second rate copy and Prime is in fact stronger then him. His final fear is being in a state of servitude for an eternity. While Scourge can wait for opportunities, he fears always being subservient and below somebody else.
Your Greatest Strength: Scourge's greatest strength is his utter drive and and undying ambition for power. When Scourge has his sights set on something, he will get it no matter what the cost. He has a never give in, never say die attitude about gaining power and achieving his goals, and thus can be stubborn and persistent to the point where he will outlast almost anybody and achieve his goal. This makes him both dangerous on the battlefield and in the power-struggles within the deception. On the battlefield he will never back down in a fight, he will always persist and if the chips are against him, find a way to turn the tides. Off the battlefield he is a far better traitor then starscream for unlike Starscream who's cowardice makes him easily put back into place by megatron's intimidation, Scourge's drive and ambition make him persistent in his pursuit of power, and thus in the end the one who is truly equipped to overthrow the decepticon leader.

He has a short fuse and that can be easily used against him. Get him into a rage and he will fly out of control like a car being driven by a drunk. He will go from powerful and sane warrior to mad blood knight hacking and slashing about the battlefield. This can be quite detrimental to the decepticon commander as setting him off can put him at a severe disadvantage if an opponent knows how to take advantage of his enraged state.

History: Scourge was born as a mistake. Originally, the united states government had with the permission of the autobots taken the DNA of and data on the various autobots they where working with to better understand their allies. The data was stored away, safe, with another artifact, a recently discovered allspark shard. The government thought that since the decepticons did not know about this, that the information and specimens where safe, but they where wrong. Thanks to soundwave the decepticons had found out about the allspark shard and autoboit study info, and went on a mission to retrieve it. The autobots responded. The resulting clash between the two forces destroyed all the data from the study and most of the DNA. Eventually as the conflict raged the destruction shattered the container holding the allspark shard and what happened next nobody could predict. The shard of the allspark came into contact with the sample of Optimus Prime's DNA, and what resulted nobody could ever guess. A clone of Optimus Prime was born from the power of the allspark, but, he was different, Due to being born from conflict, he looked different, and had a different personality too. He was jet black and when he came into existence immediately jumped into the battle, with the one he was cloned from. He was able to not only match Optimus, but force him and the autobots to retreat. Megatron seeing the new transformer's power offered him the position of commander and second in command of the decepticon along with starscream. Scourge of course excepted, seeing working with megatron as a route to greater power.
After that day scourge became a famed and feared decepticon warrior among both autobots and deception. He showed a brilliance with battlefield tactics and warfare that was unmatched, able to devise strategies to defeat autobot forces with relative ease. He proved time and time again that he was also a threat on the battlefield himself, favoring sword combat over using the guns he carried with him. He also, to the decepticons showed how much of a domineering commander he was. He became feared among his own subordinates for his explosive temper and fear based leadership, much like megatron was feared. Megatron himself even took a shine to Scourge who was a far more couragous and loyal second in command when compared to the traitorous starscream, or so it appeared. Secretly Scourge had begun to put a plan into motion to overthrow Megatron, though nobody knew about this plan. Scourge was hiding it well, and knew that he must wait for the best time to strike. Now, Scourge continues to lead the decepticon forces, and bides his time until the right opportunity comes to overthrow Megatron and take the decepticons for himself.
